《Life Once Again》Chapter 20

The next morning, I was sitting in my homeroom idling away when miss Campbell came in.
“Good morning everyone.” She smiles brightly, as if she didn’t know the rumours that had circulated because of her act.
When she came into the class, the only two other people there with me barely acknowledged her.
‘Not like they would, everyone in this class is just way too discerning and they know you would take a mile when given an inch.’
Everyone in our homeroom had been an audience to her revolving suitors and made conclusions based on that, though they may not be right. Because of that, she had not been able to get her hooks into any of the boys in this class, including Reinhardt and Udonavon who were in the class with me this instance.
Next came in Brandon who came straight to me.
“I heard you’ve become quite the celebrity.”
‘Speak louder why don’t you.’ I saw Serena’s ears perk up when Brandon made that statement.
“Not really, it was just-”
“Do you want to know what would have happened had you followed her? I saw that possibility you know.”
“-a talk among schoolmates. And no, I don't want to know.” You vulture. I really don’t need you stirring the pot because you’re bored, ahhh shit. The princess is coming right this way.
“What happened to you? I heard there was a commotion.”
‘Since when were we close enough for you to make that inquiry?’
“Nothing happened, it was a civil conversation among schoolmates like I told Brandon here.” Really, no privacy.
“Good, I would hate for you to be distracted by that girl when the results come out later today.” There it is. She wants to defeat me while I’m ‘of sound mind’. I looked at Serena and-

‘Yup, She didn’t like that exchange at all.’ She was silently fuming. But these were opponents she could not instigate at all.
The rest of the day passed slowly until we could go to the announcement board to see our positions and scores. I made my way over there, keenly aware that the princess and Brandon were tailing me the entire time. I knew Brandon had at least some idea of my performance but he kept strangely mum about it while simultaneously being extra chippy today. As I got to the board and saw the results, I immediately knew why.
‘Shit. She didn’t score perfect on every subject so she-’
“-am second.” As she looked at me, I could see her grit her teeth in annoyance.
“Congratulations, Solis Whitefyre. This will not be forgotten.” She turned around and left immediately.
‘Be more ominous why don't you.’ I turned my attention to Brandon.
“Congratulations on your first place. Just know, you’ve unleashed a monster that will ripple quite drastically.” I sighed as I closed my eyes. Before opening them back up and bypassing Brandon, totally ignoring him.
I entered my room and allowed myself to relax. I sent myself into my energies and just bathed in how they all intricately connected, deepening the saturation of my concepts until-
‘Shit, I advanced.’ Sixth tire aura user. This was one of the disadvantages of my ‘self cultivation’ sorcery, I had to keep my vigilance and control else my aura and chi grow without constraint. I felt my aura increase in quality and quantity while the saturation also took a leap.
‘Eh, you win some you lose some.’ I turned in for the night.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Tales of the 33rd universe - A Mech Designer story
Meet Marcus Caelum, since young he wanted nothing else to play with mechs. He studied, worked hard and he finally did it, now he is a Mech Designer (provisional). He achieved his dream and now is the time for realization, he now will learn that not all is great, that there are things to learn and that if he wants to do the job well he better adapt. Cover taken from a Battletech manual. This is my "first" novel so do forgive the quality a bit.It is mostly a Slice of life following what I believe a Mech Designer life would be. It will have action, science, comedy, dark moments and some adventure. It will barely have any romance and little actual combat (he won't go off fighting enemies everywhere, the MC is not a fighter). It's medium sci-fi, most hard science with some mana altering normal materials. The pacing is a bit slow, it takes some time for the story to advance. The first arc is completed and the novel is until further notice on HIATUS.I may continue the Tales of the 47th Universe to try my hand at another style and pacing. More info in chapter 22.

Thaum new Galaxy
Thaum an ancient mage of many lives decides to drift through the great void before starting a new life. Unknowingly centuries pass and he somehow finds himself in a new galaxy. One where Magic never passed the initial Druidic phase and died out. Instead, the people have taken to technology to improve their lives. They have progressed further than Thaum has ever seen. Traveling between worlds isn't a grand expedition with great magic, but as simple as boarding a ship and paying the boarding fee. Authors note - This story is intended to be a short novel. The MC is going to be OP as far as mages are concerned, but we will see what a sci-fi universe can throw at him. (suggestions welcome) p.s. he will try to make his impact overall a good one, but he is not a good person. He only chooses to do good. Unless it is too inconvenient. it also won't be particularly dark.

The Zodians - Book 1: The Outlander
"The past is written by the future. The king shall fall off his throne by thirteen men who have not been born." He is the mad king who tears a whole continent into two pieces without mercy. He wielded the dark magic from an arcane source, from just no one to The Supreme Emperor. His reign lasts for nearly two hundred years, and no one knows exactly how many dead bodies are lying under his throne. But this is not the story of him. His reign is over, and now comes an epic of The Thirteen Knights, who sent the death sentence to the Emperor. Who are they? And above all, what they have lost to become such a symbol? Blood. Love. Duty. Comes power, comes responsibility, a wise man used to say. Victory does not create a man, tragedy does. Each chapter is around 700 - 2000 words to make the reading more efficient. The main timeline takes place in 2000 years later from the battle in beginning chapters, when magic is no longer available.
