《Once a Hero》Intermission, some explanations

Greetings All!!
First THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!
And thank you for reading!
There have been many questions circulating about professions and why Scott and other do not simply imagine something and become say for example a god.
Let me explain the system.
When you think of a profession at that time, it does a check to see if you not only believe it to be possible, but if you understand and comprehend the profession.
Lets take a god. What does it mean to be a god? Can anyone here honestly answer that? I can create a checklist of godlike abilities and go thru the list, but in the end that is not all there is to be a god, there is also the mental and physical aspects too
A god is all knowing right? So if that is the case he would prevent you from becoming a god since he already saw you trying to become one. I use this example to answer another question, that there are gods bored and playing with the world(s).
Close but no cigar.
Just saying I want to be a god and thinking you believe it, does not mean you understand it, for example is god alive? does he have blood? Can he die? does he see everything at once (and I mean this literally)? Can you really comprehend what a god is?
My answer is no. There is no one on the planet Earth who can sit here and tell me they know what a god is and how to understand and comprehend it. If you TRULY know what a god is tell me, I really want to know.
The system does not say "Oh close enough you are now a god"
The same goes for other professions. In one chapter, I hinted at such, when Cindy was training and others tried to copy her profession. Each person is unique in this world, everyone has a different understanding of things. Take Patterson for example, the guy lacks any kind of imagination, he probably does not even realize the truth of what is going on and follows orders to the letter.

so Superman and Flash? I hinted that Scott is realizing this finally. As his stats increase so does is strength and speed. Others are slowly realizing it too.
Now I could have gone and made Scott the smartest man in the world with the greatest imagination and in chapter one the story was over because he was so fast and beat every monster on the planet saving everyone and beat the game all in 10 seconds, ok lets make it 5 seconds for truly OP'ness.
But would you be reading this? Probably not hehe, and I really really thank you for reading and all the feedback.
Here are my books in order
Book 1 Introduction, learning, comprehending.
Book 2 going on the offensive.
Book 3 Pregnancy resolves itself. many surprises and information learned
Book 4 Taking the The conflict to a whole new level
Book 5 The final outcome, will Scott and company save the day, or will they wind up as slaves to the system?
ALL books will be at least 300 pages long. We are now on Page 239 as of this posting of Book 1.
Some books may extend out to second books in them selves as information needs to be given to understand the story, thus the reason I always said 5-10 books total.
I realize this is not for everyone, but I am writing for myself, I am having FUN writing and putting out chapters every few hours, as I want to see what happens to Scott and company next too. I know how the story SHOULD end and that is my goal, but sometimes things change and I make it I up as I go at times, following certain guidelines and try to stay within.
Once again thank you for reading and all the feed back, I do take comments and advice into advisement.

The Sea Tower
Sea witches were monsters of legends, capable of routing armadas and wreaking havoc across entire realms by controlling the weather. It was rumored that even the mighty krakens were under the control of the sea witches. Who, what, or where these witches were, no one knew. But no one sought them out either. The avarice of a mad king leads to the folly of a kingdom. Only a single turret survived the catastrophe, a single tower which protrudes outwardly from a boundless ocean, rumored to house the very creature which wreaked havoc and devastation. Sailors are warned to give the relic a wide berth, for few who have seen the tower ever return to speak the tale, and none who have approached it ever have. Do not approach the tower, they said…

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
