Chapter 35 And then there was three......

We all stood here stunned, I am going to be a dad?? Is this for real? A dad? This has to be a dream....wake up Scott wake up, no way I got them both pregnant at the same I...

Scott calm down sweetheart I am here we will do this together. Her voice is soft and loving, she is happy/

Julie, ahh crap she can read my mind, I forgot have to calm own and be brave, go with the flow go with the flow go with....

“Scott?” Cindy asks concerned seeing me go pale

“Scott!” Rick yells at me

“Oh boy!” Doc Snow says amused, gets out of is chair and walks towards me.

I begin fall to my knees stunned, but Julie catches me, she has gotten a lot stronger lately.”Calm down Scott, I am here” she whispers.

“What is it Scott?," Cindy asks very concerned,but she herself is still startled by the news a mix of emotions on her face.

“A dad...I am going to be a dad” I say stunned, my face showing total disbelief. Then I look at Cindy and then at Julie. Both are radiant to me, beautiful as goddesses. My breath catches in my throat, it is hard to breath.

“Scott calm down. It will be ok!” Julie says holding me gently

“HAHAHAHAHAHA, I am so sorry I did not expect that kind of reaction.”, the female Doctor says, she is laughing hysterically.”It was a joke, they are not pregnant.”

Silence

We hear a fork drop and hit the table. Rick is sitting there, his jaw dropped stunned.

My senses return and is followed by sadness then anger. I glare at the female Doctor.

“You have to forgive Doctor Mathews, she is kind of a practical joker, especially in tense times. At the hospital she would pull stunts like this with patients all the time. We had many complaints about her.”, He says shaking his head

“So so that was a joke?”, I say angrily.

It is now Julie who falls to her knees stunned. I am not pregnant? no...

“I knew it was not possible, since I am on the pill.” Cindy says, a scowl is on her face. She does not look happy either.

Julie begins to cry, I turn and take her into my arms and hug her, “I am so sorry kitten.”

“HAHAHAHA, sorry folks, I could not resist, after listening to you three all nights going at it, and then that message popped up, I just lost control of myself hahahahaha,”, she is still laughing hard, tears coming out of her eyes like a waterfall.

“That was NOT funny,” Cindy says in a menacing voice.

“You are right, sigh sometimes I can not help it, Please forgive me, I am Doctor Sharon Mathews.”, she says, her laughing fit over, but still giggling.

“So I am not pregnant?” Julie whispers in a cold tone.

“No darling, you are not pregnant, but you are very healthy, that much I can see with my skill, in fact you are better than healthy, all your vitals are above normal.” Doctor Mathews says with a proud smile.

“You really need on work on your sense of humor” , Rick says unpleasantly.

“I met Doctors like you, scare the bejeesus out of them like that. Or in some cases, give them hope and snatch it away, it is not funny,” Doc Snow looks at July concerned shaking his head. “Not funny at all.”

Julie breaks down crying, I hold her tighter stroking her hair, "I am sorry Scott, I just felt happy. And now it is gone........” she cries.

“Oh my, I am really sorry, I did not mean any harm really,” Doctor Mathews says apologizing.

“These three have been thru more than any of us and have done more than any of us for everyone.” Rick says flabbergasted looking at Doctor Mathews.

“Cindy?” I look at Cindy, then make a motion with my head towards Julie and she nods. She walk over and takes Julie by the shoulders and lifts her up, Julie puts her head on Cindy's shoulders and cries, as they walk out of the Cafeteria together headed for our room.

My anger is dissipated, but I am not happy with doctor Mathews.

“Well we do have some good news for you Scott” Rick says to me as I sit down at the table to join the three, Doc Snow takes his seat as well.

I look at him with a questioning expression.

“The women who are pregnant are having normal births, human children, seems they are between 4 and 6 months along, that is, of the three women we saw who were pregnant, the others are not pregnant, as far as we can tell at this time.” Says the Male doctor. “We performed ultra sounds on the three ladies and found nothing abnormal in their pregnancies. We performed urine test on the rest with no results to show any pregnancy”

“Yes I used healing on the fetuses to ensure they were ok and healthy, all of them will be fine. The mothers tho, are malnourished, but with the I.V.'s and proper care they will recover physically. Mentally is a different story”.

“That is great news, I just hope it is enough for them for now, have any shown any signs of wanting to hurt themselves?” I ask

“No, the maids are taking turns watching them and the nurses are with them right now. Most if not all are still not fully aware of their surrounding yet I think.” Doc Snow says grimly.

“And you are?” I look at the male doctor.

“Ah yes please forgive me, I am Doctor Harold Wilson the third.” He says extending his hand out for a handshake. I take it and feel the strength in his hands, a very strong grip and confident,” Nice to meet you Doctor Wilson.”

“My apologies for my colleague, she truly meant no harm, we have worked together over three years now and she only meant to lighten the mood, honestly, please forgive her.” He says apologizing for Doctor Mathews. Doctor Mathews is looking at me, her face is showing shame and nods several times at his words.

“It is not me you have to worry about, Julie took that rather hard.” I say to him, then look at her, I understand it was supposed to be a joke, and that she meant no harm, but the feeling it left behind is hard to ignore.

“I will go talk to her and apologize once she calms down.” Says Doctor Mathews with a sigh.

"Thank you doctor and please try to keep your humor to a minimum from now on. People around here are very fragile and your jokes can tip them over the edge.” I say as a warning.

We part ways after a few more word about the women's care. Rick is with me as the Doctors head to the rooms the three women are in, to check in on them. “Rick I would like you to marry Cindy, Julie and me please” I say.

“Me, Scott? Umm am I even qualified?” He asks doubtful.

“You are the closest thing we have to a Justice of the Peace around here so I believe so and it would make me happy.” I say to him with a smile.

“Of course Scott, I will do it, let me go get prepared then and by the way congratulations.” he says shaking my hand and heads off to the library.

I head to the kitchen and am hit with various appetizing aromas, and find Annabelle already hard at work, a huge cake is already in the works. She sees me and runs over on her short stubby legs "My Lord! My Lord Congratulations! I am so happy for you My Lord!”

“Thank you Annabelle, I came to see you, but you already know and are preparing for today” I smile at her.

“Oh my Lord it is my job! What Chief Cook would not be ready for any occasion, it would be a tarnish to my reputation,” she says her head bowed in respect.

I pat her on the head gently,”Thank you Annabelle what would I do without you, since your arrival everyone is happier, thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.”

"My Lord you are too kind and gracious! Thank you! It will be a grand feast indeed, we have much to do, as noon is not far off.” She bows and turns and begins giving orders to the kitchen staff in a flurry and heads back to the cake humming all the while as I watch her in her element.

I leave the kitchen satisfied, and head for my room to see if I can calm Julie down and get her ready for the wedding. That is when Captain Winford approaches me.”My Lord!”

“Ah Captain what can I do for you today?” I ask him giving him a smile.

“Where are you having the reception my lord?” He asks

“I think here in the Cafeteria will be fine” I say to him, I have not given that any real thought to be honest.

“No, no, my Lord, that will not do, we must hold it outside under the eyes of the gods so they may witness your union and bless it my lord.” He insists

"Then I leave it to you Captain Winford, surprise me" i say to him wiht a smile relieved that that will be taken care of.

He Bows and salutes “Your Will be done My Lord, Leave it to me!” with that he rushes off yelling, "ASSEMBLE THE GUARDS!”

I look confused why he would assemble the guard, but do not give it another thought and head for my room on the second floor. I find Cindy and Julie sitting on the bed talking, seems Julie has calmed down and is smiling again and sees me.

Sigh I made such a fool of myself in front of him. How am I going to live this down.

No sweetheart, I understand and I too wanted a child, and it hurt me.

But the way you acted Scott?

"Hey you two knock it off, I can not hear you!" Cindy complains.

"Sorry Honey," I approach Cindy and kiss her on the forehead. Then sit on the edge of the bed and sigh.

“When I hit 40, I came to realize that I would probably never be a dad, and it hit me hard back then. I looked back on my life and saw a wasted life it was. I resolved myself to that fact that I would probably never be a dad, but then, this incident occurred, and I was reverted back to 18 and then you two came along, to me it was like a dream come true in a sense, I could do without all the monsters mind you. And when she said you two were pregnant, it hit me.....to be a dad it is one of my biggest dreams to be honest.” I confide to them.

“Oh Scott I am so sorry, but I am sure will will have lots of kids in the future, but right now is not the right time I think.” Cindy says wrapping her arms around my neck and pushing her cheek to mine.

“You are right Honey, now is not the right time, but it felt good you know?” I say to her.

“We have something to fight and look forward to”, she says with a smile kissing me on the cheek.

“I am so happy Scott, I thought from the way you reacted you did not want kids, I was so happy when she said that, I have wanted kids for so long now, but never found a partner with whom I could share my happiness and dreams with, until now.” Julie says wrapping her arms around me from behind, pressing herself against me.

"I knew I could not be pregnant since I am and have been on the pill since my 15th Birthday”, say Cindy with a frown.

“I am on the pill too, but it still made me happy for some reason and I hoped it was true, but after hearing Scott, I am happy we have something to look forward to now.! “Julie says happily.

Thank god he wants kids I am so relieved.

Of course I want kids, I am going to turn you into a baby factory, one after the other so be ready my soon to be Wife!

HA! you can't handle me Sweetheart, I now have your sexual stamina too!

HAHA we shall see kitten, you have no idea when I get serious hahaha!

“You two that is NOT fair, we need to set some rules here and now, When I am around you HAVE to talk out loud, no ifs or buts! Got it?!” Cindy says in a stern voice, Julie and I look at her with guilty expressions and nod. “When I am not around go ahead and blast each others minds apart for all I care! But if you love me you will not exclude me anymore ok?” she says almost begging.

“Yes honey you are right and from here on I will make an honest effort to stop myself! I promise!” I say to her seriously.

“I too, promise sweety I will do the same!” Julie says grabbing Cindy and giving her a hug.” after all we will be real sisters now once we marry Scott today!” she pulls back and smiles happily at Cindy.

We stayed in the room and talked about various things, the wedding was now out of our hands and we let it come as may. We found out that Cindy's Grandmother was over-protective and forced the pill on her at the age of 15 based on her own past experience. Even set a curfew of 9 pm, even at the age of 18.

Julie parents were more open and let her pretty much do what she wanted as long as she kept up the self defense classes her dad enrolled her in. However whenever she brought home a boyfriend, next day the boyfriend would break up with her for some reason or another, she never found out why to this day. She suspected her dad had something to do with it, since it always occurred after she introduced them to him.

We talked about past relationships, we knew about Mark on Julie's side, but Cindy revealed she too, had a love once. A boy names Eric. Eric Furito was his name. He was athletic, smart and kind. Or so she thought. She was happy and in bliss with him, she was the envy of the School girls. She had her first time with him too. But that is when he changed and showed his true colors. He began to treat her differently. Ordered her around like a servant, at first it was subtle, but later more demanding. She woke up from her dream one day, when he took her to the boys locker room after school baseball practice that Cindy had stayed to watch, and began to kiss her. She let him as they were already intimate, and no one was around. Plus it was not the first time they had done it there.

As they began to undress, she heard a noise from behind her and looked and saw three of his buddies in their underwear waiting and watching. He laughed when he saw the look on her face and she asked him what was going on.

He told her she was going to please his friends as well. That he had promised them to have a turn at her and that she would not want to make him into a liar would she? She refused, but he slapped her hard, and said no was not an option and that she would do it since she was his girl. The other guys had already started to remove their underwear, and Eric ripped her remaining clothing off of her while she screamed with all her might.

A coach must have heard them and came running in as he saw the men trying to force themselves onto Cindy. He yelled in anger and pulled the guys off of her throwing them up against the wall one by one. He pulled Cindy to safety and then called the police. A report was filed, the boys arrested and eventually expelled from school. Cindy lost her trust in men on that day, and never really felt love from that point on.

The years passed and she was in an out of relationships, as fast as a day later, or as long as a year at times. The ones lasting a year, was because she refused to be intimate, could not feel love for them, but she tried to love, forcing herself to try, but never could become intimate with any of them.

Then the Brad incident occurred, and she met Scott. At first Scott was just another guy, but that quickly changed. She felt something she never felt before. Her heart ached at being with him, wanting to touch him and to feel his touch, but could not. It was agonizing and grew stronger by the hour.

She was jealous of Julie even began plot at times on how to break them up, but stopped herself feeling guilty of the thought. She accepted Scott was with Julie, but her longing and agony did not go away. She cries apologizing to Julie asking her forgiveness. Julie says there was nothing to forgive and hugs her, Cindy continues her story.

Then Scott confessed and kissed her. It was like a flood had been released upon her, her feelings were now free, she was allowed to feel love and be loved. She cries as she ends her story.

I and Julie both hug her

“I love you with all my heart Honey!”, I say to her kissing her.

"And I love you too, with all my heart sister!” Julie takes Cindy's face in her hands and gives her a kiss as well, much to the astonishment of Cindy and to my amusement.

Oh wow this is hot!

SCOTT! Julie turns to glare at me

“Sorry thinking of how hot that just was, really turned me on hehe” I say out loud with honesty.

“Do not get used to it tiger, that was a one shot deal.” Cindy says with a grin.

“Really?” Julie asks sadly of Cindy

“Huh?” Cindy looks at July confused.

“As sisters we don't we get to kiss once in a while, right?”, Julie asks shyly.

“Uhh, sure, no problem....” Cindy says beginning to blush.

I watch the new development with interest and smile. Julie smacks me followed by Cindy who smacks me as well.”no dirty thoughts , OLD MAN” Julie says to me laughing.

“Oh you just had to bring that up, you know, speaking of which, when you used to call me that, it hurt you know?” I say to her with a frown.

“I know and I used it to tease the hell out of you, you should have seen your face, I saw early on you hated it. Then I would follow it up with an invite hoping you would catch on, but it took almost two yeas for you to finally take me out, god you were so dense, that I had to finally almost force myself onto you.” she says with a triumphant smile. “And here we are now, about to get married finally! I have dreamed of this day for a long time Sweetheart!” She leans in and kisses me.

“I too have long wanted for someone to love and love me, and I finally found him, thank you tiger!” She then too leans in and kisses me.

We all get ready for the wedding, they wear their preset 1's and I, my uniform, we decided it was best to wear this as it represents who we are now and in the future. Plus they both looked pretty hot in their outfits.

We head down and see the Captain of the guard waiting for us. It is almost 12pm “ATTENTION! THE GROOM AND HIS BRIDES APPROACH"! He snaps to attention then bows and says” please follow me, I shall instruct you on the ceremony we are about to perform and Master Hanson will perform the vows, My Lord!

He leads us in a slow march forward, one step pause one step pause. He takes us out the main entrance of the School where the Guards, both the regular NPC and the Elite are lined up on either side of the aisle, swords raised the NPC first, then the Elite next, their light swords out and on, raised at 90 degrees over the aisle. The sun is shining brightly, not a cloud in the sky was seen, clear and blue, a perfect day.

We are walking on a blue velvet type cloth leading to where Rick is standing waiting in his Armor, a slight glow emanates from him as he smiles at us.

On either side of the guard created Aisles are rows of chairs taken from the auditorium, which we have not used at all yet. All are in attendance, and there are many smiles among them.

We reach Rick and stop before him, The Captain turns on his heels and instructs "please hold out both hands palms up,My Lord and Ladies".

We do as instructed. He then pulls out a dagger and makes a small cut on each hand in turn, he then slowly takes one hand at a time and places it in another hand so that Cindy, Julie and I are standing in a circle holding hands.

"As we stand witness before the gods, we see Baron Scott Smith, his Bride Cindy horn and his Bride Julie Matterson, united as one, their blood flows as one, their hearts becoming one. We offer this blood ritual to the gods, to ask for their blessings, in uniting these three as one, may their souls join in happiness. Master Hanson if you will please." The Captain says ceremoniously in a steady rhythm of voice.

Do you Scott smith, Cindy Horn and Julie Matterson swear by the gods and those who stand witness, to have and to hold, in times of happiness and sorrow, to cherish, love and believe in one another, from this day forth till death do you part?

"I do", I say

"yes", Cindy says

"I do", Julie replies

"I, Rick Hanson hereby decree, that the union of Scott Smith, Cindy Horn and Julie Matterson be blessed and recognized henceforth. By the blessing of the gods, let it be known that they are one and forever bonded till death do them part." He peeks at a piece of paper in his hand and recites it.

A glow emanates from both the Captain and Rick enveloping the three of us and pop up appears before me.

The light begin to recede from us and I see both happy faces looking upon me I look lovingly at them. I am the happiest man alive.

I lean in and say “I love you” and kiss Cindy then turn and say “I love you”, and kiss Julie, everyone rises and claps, smiling.

I can not believe it, I am now married, this is great, NO! this is more than great!

Sweetheart I am so happy, I could cry, I love you Scott!

Ha! so this is what it feel like to have you in my head, wow this is neat!

Both Julie and I are stunned and look at a grinning Cindy who is overjoyed..............
