《Ula (read description.)》Chapter 1 - Dragon girl

Quote:All four of the races have the potential to be born with magical abilities, for all races the probability a child being born with magical abilities is 1 in 100, these children have to go to special schools to learn how to awaken and learn to control their magic, the Obsidian school is the greatest of all these schools, it stands in the middle of the continent and is ran by a man simply known as the Master, one of the most powerful beings in the continent.
To my right I hear someone sighing rather loudly, I turn my head and see a girl with horns, she must be a dragon, she is tall and slender and her face is sharp but beautiful, her jet black hair reaches down to her waist and her stature gives her a majestic aura.
I strike up a conversation with this beautiful dragon girl,
“Hey, what class are you in? I’m in class 7, Kind of a joke they didn’t give us a map or anything huh?” she turns and looks at me with her large purples eyes and opens her cute little lips,
“I’m in class 7 too, they didn’t give it to so i’m assuming it’s a test of sorts, i mean if we couldn’t even find our way to the classroom then i’m sure were fucked”
I start chuckling after hearing what she said,
“Whats so funny?” she asks,
“well, i just didn't expect that type of language from you, bravo”
“Well, want to try and find it with me?, I’m sure we’ll do better as a team”
“That might be for the best, by the way, I’m Yamu Nith, I’m 16, what about you?”
She seems to want to be friends, “I’m Zepp Alkery, you can just call me Zepp, I’m also 16, we better get moving, let’s go”

We start walking towards to exit of the hall and go back into the vast corridors that seem to be never ending, everything was made of obsidian, living up to it’s name, you could even see your reflection on the polished black bricks that seemed to eerily give out a glow that made the corridors even darker.
“Lets go straight ahead, my instincts tell me it's this way”
I decided to trust Yamu’s instincts based on the fact that the dragons instincts are usually not wrong, especially on direction.
We seemed to have walked for about 10 minutes when we finally saw a room titled ‘First Year, Class 7’, the corridor that the room resided in was lighter than the others, it even had a few other rooms along the hallway, as we got to the room we opened the room into a standard classroom of desks and a 100 inch monitor in which the teacher must use to teach.
“I think we’re the first ones here Yamu” I decided to break the silence that seemed to linger between us since we set off, she nodded in reply and we both walked into the room and sat near the back left of the room, the window seats.
We were sitting in the class for around 3 minutes the door opened and a black robed man walked in with the rest of what i’m guessing are the students of this class, he was the same as the other three teachers, a shadow created by the master.
After everyone had settled in the classroom he began his introduction,
“Hello everyone, welcome to class 7, i’m your teacher, Runru, you however, will call me teacher, let’s start with everyone giving an introduction, up first is the boy in the back row near the window”

I nodded and stood up as quietly as possible, everyone in the class was looking at me whilst I spoke, “Zepp Alkery, human, 16 years old”
After that was Yamu’s turn, she did exactly like I did “Yamu Nith, Dragon, 16 years old”, everyone in the class carried on the process, there are people from all types, I see dwarfs, demons, dragons and elves and a few hybrids too.
Teacher Runru then began to tell us more about the school.
It seems that tomorrow we will be tested on what our magical abilities are, they are split into different elements, there are the 6 basic elements that make up magic, earth, water, wind, fire, light and dark, people born with magic have a main affinity towards a certain element, the element in which you have the main affinity towards is the one that comes most natural to you, it is easier to learn, faster to grow and becomes the most powerful element of the mage.
Teacher Runru then begins to explain about magic.
Magic is split into ranks and classifications, the lowest rank magic power someone can have is rank F, then it goes, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and the highest rank is X rank, Teacher says that the Master is rank S, and he is the most powerful known person on the continent, apparently S rank can make armies and kingdoms kneel to their feet, the master is that much of a scary character, even his voice gives an aura of dominance and oppressiveness.
Teacher Runru kept talking all day and told us the rules of the academy and so on, most of it was boring talk and pleasantries, he said this day was more of an introduction day and the real lessons will begin tomorrow, after he was finished it was 8pm, we had been in there for 10 hours straight and everyone was tired and bored, he dismissed us and told us to go back to the dorms.
The dormitories are located in the courtyard, two big stone buildings were on each side of one of the tower walls, one was boys dorms and the other way girls, the students all had their own room because the buildings used some sort of magic where its bigger on the inside, the master apparently created this function.
Afterwards, I arrived at my room which was room 499 it was right at the top of the building and was next to other first years, we got told our rooms and given the magic codes for them when we enrolled, I walked into my room and took a look around, all my luggage was on the floor, the room was simple but rather spacey, it had a single bed, a kitchen and a bathroom, the room was comfortable and homely, I put all my luggage away, my clothes I put in the magic wardrobe, and my personal items i put into the magic chest, after this I got onto my bed because of the long day ahead of me, I was also feeling sleepy due to teacher runru’s excessive speeches, I relaxed my body and closed my eyes, sleep soon overcame me.

8 197Ancient Bones: The Changed Ones book 1 (Post-Post Apocalypse LitRPG)
Is it truly an RPG Apocalypse... if no one can see the RPG? Generations after the Fall, Mankind has achieved a balance in a world it is no longer the master of. But your prospects in this Malthusian world are limited. Johanna Milton and her friends have an answer: delve into Ancient ruins, avoid Changed beasts and mana pockets, and salvage Ancient materials, collectibles, and trinkets to sell. It pays well if you avoid the perils of the Ancient world. But when they find the skeleton of an Ancient, their lives take a strange turn. Suddenly, Talents straight out of fantasy novels become theirs. While they try to make sense of what happens, eyes turn to them, to the four who seem to break all rules. Or are they merely following them? Because, in the Beyond where he's spent 150 years waiting, one dead Ancient knows the truth. Douglas Moore has played those games often enough when he was alive to make sense of the System that rules the Changed world. He can no longer act on his own, but he has access to the Interface. And four people for which he can bring whatever it takes to face the world. Change is coming. The Changed Ones is a slow-burn litrpg fantasy trilogy (Ancient Bones, Ancient Books, Ancient Bonds) set on Earth, 150 years after the RPG Apocalypse... which mostly failed. It is an homage to the venerable ancient RPGs of the Golden Box era, the Baldur's Gates, and many others, offering adventure where You must gather your party before venturing forth. Keywords: LitRPG, realistic setting, low-leveling, post-post-apocalypse, fantasy earth, slow-burn, secondary POVs, female primary MC, team adventure, worldbuilding. Trigger warnings: casual swearing, adult innuendo (no explicit scenes whatsoever, though). Oh, and potentially a bit of politics. Bonus content: a Litrpg Easter Egg hunt. With lots of eggs across the book, some easy, some hard to find. Current score: 6/20 (20 eggs, 6 found) Publication schedule: on hold until September for book 2.
8 243Centipede
This is a fan fic set in the brilliantly crafted world of Chrysalis, which RinoZ has generously given permission for me to post. Our hero is no transmigrated human, but a genuine monster, spawned from the rich mana veins running beneath a fungal expanse. Unlike other Claw Centipedes, this hatchling is special, gifted with sapience and cunning. Both of which are useful tools to hunt and kill and eat with. Maybe even more useful than claws and stinger. (Probably not). Please join them as they seek answers to life's big questions: Is that edible? If so, how do I kill it? And can I get my kin to do most of the work?
