Hi, I'm back. Sorry for the longass wait. 
So... five months later and the rewrite is now online here on RRL. There will be some major changes to the story (perhaps more than what I promsed,) but the main premise should remain unchanged. I won't say much of what's different and let my writing do the speaking.
Anyway, thanks for putting up with me and my work for so long. You've probably forgotten about this fiction at this point, which is perfect because now you get to read a new start. I hope you'll stick with me for a while longer. Cheers~
