Caelus again. Been a while huh? I had a bit of a problem actually. One of the reasons I am starting this book like this, which you will find out later, is starting to catch up to me. It’s getting harder and harder to suppress. Guess I’ll go through this as quickly as possible.

Loop 80 Year 1 Day 200

I am just putting the finishing touches on one of my most devious plans yet. After winning the lotto, and bribing some government officials, I’ve gained a lot of backdoor knowledge on almost all the American government.

Of course, this knowledge will carry over to future loops so I don’t need to bother with buying it in the future.

With the rest of my money, not much at this point, I build what I can. The base is still huge, but that is because of the digger bots. Just one bot to make others is all I need to build.

I also have several thousands of tons of materials mined by now. I mean with the knowledge of every pocket of rare stone, precious metal, and every collection of mineral, I basically don’t need any more money than takes to build the first robot.

Still a lot though. I put a lot of effort into improving the robot building robot.

After buying all the information from the various government officials, I use it to get the info on the rest. You’d be surprised at what dirty secrets they know about each other. Even those on opposing parties keep that stuff secret, else their own secrets would be exposed.

I basically threaten to expose every single secret. The only way out is for the U.S. to launch my satellites. By researching for a day, with my android lover’s hacking abilities, I am able to create satellites that far outstrip anything that the earth is currently able to make.

It would take 750 WorldView3 satellites to cover the earth at one time. It only takes my satellites, each the size of a small car, a total of 50. That’s a significant difference.

90% of the satellites are just APG storage, to keep them going for thousands of years. Each one has 100 nanites as well. With the location of several graphite, diamond, and uranium mines, I am able to create tens of thousands of nanites before depleting all of the resources.

Seeing all of them working on one project is nothing short of amazing. It seems to just grow out of the ground. Obviously, they, under AI’s control, built my satellites. They are used to make all my especially secretive devices.

With my satellites in the air I have 24/7 coverage over the ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET!!!

Let’s see that gravity fucker mess with me now! I don’t bother taking in power users this time. I only take in a few people. Mostly I am going to be working on figuring out a way to brainwash people. I am certain that is what happened to the teleporter girl and the poison guy.

So, I need a way to figure out how to brainwash people myself. Why wouldn’t I do it? If someone’s power is so great they can mess with me, a time Looper, then there is a problem. Even if the other person is a Looper as well.

Loop 80 Year 1 Day 314

It took a while, but I finally have matches. What I mean is that I have located, and am tracking the movements of: the gravity guy, the teleporter girl, the poison guy, and the hacker guy. It took a bit of time, over a hundred days, but that is because AI had to process every single face of every living thing viewable.

With her facial recognition software, she can track them always. The zoom on the satellites is so great, if I wanted to I could look at the sweat drops of an athlete. That is mostly using the energy in the APG to upgrade the level the lenses can magnify.

It almost seems as if APG is the answer to all my questions. I am going to focus a lot on that in some of my future loops. It seems as if there is almost no limit to the power of the APG. All Hail APG!

Loop 80 Year 6 Day 67

The high priority targets haven’t come in major contact with each other. At one time, the teleporter girl bumped into the gravity guy, but that didn’t lead to anything. Then I thought to myself what if the other Looper starts before me?

I had to stop that line of thought. If the other Looper could use mind control, AND looped before me, there was nothing I’d be able to do.

So, I continue as if I at least looped at the same time. If nothing else I still have my motivation to win.

Loop 80 Year 2 Day 145

Still nothing on the meeting of the people.

Nothing.

Year 4,5,6

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. The brain washing experiments aren’t really going anywhere. It seems like I might need to start with a younger more susceptible audience. The adults I picked seem to slowly go insane instead of becoming my mind slaves.

Loop 80 Year 7 Day 45

I am honestly about to give up on this idea. The people don’t seem to know each other at all, they don’t even have any friends in common.

Two of the people, the hacker and poison guy, live in China. The teleport girl and gravity guy live in America. There is basically no way for them to meet each other. The gravity guy went into an underground shelter before the bombs dropped. He came out a few days later.

The teleport girl was just lucky. She didn’t get hit, instead she used her power for the ‘first’ time. She could only teleport about a mile away, so was still in view of the same satellite. I also have a special program installed in AI just for tracking this girl.

During the summer of the second year I had some of my specialized nanites enter her body while she slept. She teleports with her clothes, and everything inside her body. That is something I am happy about. Not the clothes, but the inside of her body.

That nanite obviously has GPS on it. Since my satellites cover EVERYTHING, I always know where she is.

She is a host to about a hundred nanites, each only the thickness of a hair follicle. When she meets someone on my hit list, one nanite will enter the other person. If I can find out how the group works, and who they each depend on, I will be able to manipulate the entire scene.

Loop 80 Year 8 Day 50

Teleport girl arrives in China today. I guess I should have seen it coming. As soon as she does, I have AI pay special attention to everything she does. She has been steadily teleporting closer to China every day. She has been in an arctic winter for a while.

She just so happens to land in a refugee camp. There are a lot of them. Even 7 years after the bombs drop, China is still taking care of its people.

When she does a young boy approaches her. The past few years I have gained a bit of useful info on the people I had AI watch. For instance, teleport girl is partial to children. And can only teleport a certain amount of distance each day. Taking others reduces that amount. Gravity guy seems to be chill usually, poison guy hasn’t manifested powers, and chad (the first guy to kill me in cold blood) has a harem (which I killed off).

She pats the boy on his head. He can’t be more than ten or so. The moment she does she goes rigid. A spark of light jumps from the boy to teleport girl. Suddenly she teleports away. First, she teleports to very close to where the gravity guy is. After grabbing him she teleports back to the boy.

The boy again sends a bright spark into the gravity guy. Instantly he goes rigid. While this happens, the girl teleports off again.

She continues to teleport and drop off many people. She does this for eight hours a day, seven days a week. Most of that time is spent tracking down the people she doesn’t find right away.

I have AI study the boy as teleport girl is doing her thing. We have the past eight months of all recorded data of china stored in one of the thousands of servers I made. The servers are so big they can hold the video of the entire planet for about half a year. With only taking China, America, and a few key individuals, it can store it for even longer.

AI goes over the most important parts of the past eight months of data with me. She plays the videos in reverse and tracks the boy. Basically, I am 90% sure he is the main culprit in all of this. She takes notes on all of the things the boy did.

The main thing of interest is that the boy didn’t show any signs of powers until two months ago. At that time, he seemed to kind of twitch and instantly began using his powers. Before that he acted like a normal kid. After that he seemed to change completely.

He used his powers on everyone near him, and they all began to change in personality. His power might just change his own personality, but what I notice next makes me sure he is my target.

Loop 80 Year 8 Day 60

He has brainwashed all the people under his control. He made them all hate me. I know this because pictures of me are plastered on their shooting range. They seem to take great delight in shooting me. I have never met that kid, aside from when he came over in the last loop.

He shouldn’t know me. Unless he is another Looper. That is the only explanation. So, to test my theory, i go about starting a bit of fun.

Obviously, all of the people in his camp have at least one of my nanites in them. I will always know where all of them are.

Today is the day he begins preparing his people to assumedly assault my base. Too bad for them. I am going to wait to see what they are going to do exactly, then make sure I win.

Loop 80 Year 9 Day 146

The entire group, thousands now, are all in American waters. The boats they had experienced a bit of trouble, but they handled it. Since “Little Emperor” seems intent on killing me, I return the favor. As his ships are a day away from landing I have my flybots attack.

The moment they begin their attack, I start watching the scene on my biggest monitor. I am sure it is going to be a fun battle. The brainwasher curses when he sees the flybots. As if he figured something out.

It’s great that the power of my satellites is so intense. Watching as the flybots are destroyed, then the nanites in his group’s bodies explode is great. I mean, I only kill the top hundred or so, but he is the last to die.

The expression on his face! It’s great. This feeling could get addicting.

Loop 80 Year 15 Day 1

There is no attack. There hasn’t been in this entire loop. It must have been the mind control guy. I need to figure out an easier way to deal with him in future loops. I could just kill him off before he gets his powers, but if he is a Looper wouldn’t that unravel the fabric of time or something?

I’m going to setup up a fun little thing for him in the next loop.

Loop 80 Year 23 Day 14

I have some subjects that were born in my vault. Today they all turned 8. I just tell them they all share the same birthday. That way I can let myself forget about the individual birthdays. Each one is always with an android that looks and sounds identical to me.

They are all being brainwashed to serve as my elite human forces of this loop. I don’t know what powers they will get, but I am hoping that they will get powers.

Loop 80 Year 40 Day 309

Today my people are 25. Most of them have powers, but a few don’t. I do minor tests once a week to see if they develop any. The results are not promising.

The power users I have brainwashed are pretty good. I have them fight with the robots once every week or two. The different powers lead to many innovations in my robots. One of the boys, my second in command, even somehow has the power to manipulate APG.

I don’t know how he does it. I have been trying to figure that out for the past few years. His ‘second power’ doesn’t seem to exist. If I can find out what it is I will be able to figure out the base of his power almost instantly.

Loop 80 Year 80 Day 80

I am old. Well my body. My mind has been old for a long time. Most of the ‘first gens’, what I’ve taken to calling the group of people I first had birthed in my vault, are dead. I am already 103. My body is kept alive thanks to a series of tubes and machines.

Only my mind is still active. At least I don’t suffer from dementia.

Loop 80 Year 100 Day 1

I am 122. That is some kind of record for a post-apoc world. My body is mostly mechanical at this point. My brain and spine are left though. My research has a come out with a few interesting facts. I have basically perfected my brainwashing techniques. All I have to do is have one android per person, and start before they are one.

If I meet both of those requirements, I am in. The other guy can do it to anyone in an instant.

I also learn that APG blocks almost all powers. Not only that, children tend to inherit some form of both of their parents powers. It will usually be a combination of the two, or a mutation of one with a little of the other thrown in.

I can only communicate through AI now. I am thinking of having her build an android body for me. It might not work out though. Trying to get into one would be difficult to say the least.

I have also learned a bit about medicine. I occasionally have AI harvest an outsider. They are used to test my theories. Since I’ve been gone a while, there is a settlement relatively close to me.

I also have a rather substantial number of people in my vault, but I use them to test the effects of my brainwashing. It also helps that they all seem to get their powers. Usually the people in my vault all have powers by age ten.

The others, well I’m guessing I just can’t figure out their powers.
