Well, over the past week I've been doing a lot of thinking. The more I write this rewrite, the more it strays from the original, and the more I realize that doing my "keep up with this story until the rewrite catches up" strategy won't work. Because of this... and I really hate to do this, but I'm going to have to cut this story short for the time being. I'll be releasing the rewrite a lot faster than this for obvious reasons, but that does mean if you were all caught up with this story and wanted more content on this "timeline", it'll have to wait. I don't anticipate that the ending of book 1 of Precipice will be too different, but there will be dozens of minor changes along the way that'll make it hard to pick up if you've been reading this draft. As such, it is with a heavy heart that I've decided to cut this story off at the end of book 1 and mark it as complete.
