Chapter 34 : Future Great Alchemist
"Ragna, I'm sorry for the matter before. It was my fault that you became surrounded by those people. I won't ask whether if your story is true or not, it's not my business, to begin with. Still, to be able to raise that much level in one day, you have my respect" Luki whispered to Ragna after the crowds dispersed.
"If you have anything that needs my help, please tell me. Just treat it as me returning this favor"
Luki immediately said his farewell after the situation calmed down. He returned back to where his team was. Ragna couldn't help but have a mixed feeling regarding Luki. He may be a good person, but this bro nearly got killed because of him.
After Luki left, some people approached Ragna. Most of them were a magician with robe and staff. They didn't ask about the matter regarding his level, instead, they were asking about the Potions.
"Bro, is it true that the potion could restore 360 Mana?" said a mage with a green robe.
"Is the increase in regeneration significant? How does the system calculate it?"
Even though more than 95 percents of the crowds left, there were still a few people who were interested in the Potion. It was a pleasant surprise because Ragna didn't even expect the current outcome.
"Relax, brothers and sisters, there's nothing left in my bag! I'll directly introduce all of you to the alchemist right after we return to the city" He quickly calmed the crowd by giving them his promise. They chatted for a few minutes until a sudden announcement showed up.
Quest Notification
The gate will be opened for everyone to return to Prawk City. Those who were left behind will be given significant consequences.
Ragna quickly led the group to return to the city. His face was all smile but hidden in his eyes was cold glint directed to another group of people who was silently tailing him from behind.
It seemed like not everyone believed in his story after all.
...
Inside a lush looking forest outside the city, the sight of a girl slowly stirring a small pot could be seen. She was experimenting with different type of temperature and speed. When concocting potions or pills, one need to pay attention to even the smallest detail to be able to create an extraordinary product.

In fact, it was through long and taxing effort that she was able to create her uncommon grade mana potion.
Of all people who tread the path of an alchemist, she was one of the few who could withstand its hardships. Most of them were only focusing on how to quickly advance their rank and create a better type of potion, not how to raise the potion's rank by changing the process and ingredients. Everyone have their choice and Lily was happy with her current path.
"Crap, it's time already!" She quickly packed her cauldron and vial-tubes into her bag. Then, she ran toward the city while wearing her big glasses.
"I wonder how many people will buy my Potion today? That Ragna.. I don't have any expectations towards him but it would be great if he could bring one or two potential customers", she mumbled to herself while running.
After a while, she arrived at the gate. It was at this moment that white light flashed from the portal, slowly revealing the figure of the army. Because there were too many people, Lily had to wait for a while for the person he was waiting for to appear.
When players started to come out, all the merchants were getting frenzy. Loud shouts promoting their products could be heard everywhere. It was hard to discern their voices because of the chaotic situation. Lily was overwhelmed with inside the crowds. She didn't even have a chance to shout before being helplessly thrown out. As a merchant and a girl, she didn't have much strength after all.
Gritting her teeth, she was about to get up when suddenly a hand stretched out to her.
"Are you alright?" said the man who was stretching his hand toward her. He had a calm expression with his brown hair and eyes. He was obviously, Ragna.
"Hmph, there you are! I was looking for you. Anyway, I can't sell anything here. These crowds are too savage! I know that you didn't find any potential customer back there, just help me promote my Potions here and that would be fine" Lily grabbed Ragna's hand while slowly getting up and wiping the dust from her clothes.
When Ragna heard what Lily said, he grinned, "I don't think you'll need to sell anything here"

"What do you mean?" Lily was puzzled 'Don't tell me he managed to find me a buyer? Well, Maybe it wasn't that hard. He was quite capable after all. He should be able to introduce me to two or three players'
"Brothers and Sisters, here I present to you the creator of the special potion!" Ragna was saying it in a manner similar to an auctioneer who was introducing a great treasure.
Immediately, a group of people came out from behind him. There were about ten people who were surrounding Lily. They barraged her with a variety of questions from how she made the potion to how much the price would be if they buy them in bulk. Lily herself was, obviously, dumbfounded by the sudden change of event.
Lily was, after all, inexperienced in business. Her parents managed a small apothecary in her city but their business was just okay. It was only enough to feed and school her, and maybe to afford some entertainment each year. Her parents were nowhere near rich because of their nonexistent sense of business.
That's why she only tried to sell her potions by putting a sign on the streets. Obviously, there was no one who was interested in her goods. Maybe there were some curious glances, but almost everyone treated her like a dumb merchant.
Furthermore, she wasn't patient enough when she was selling her goods. If only she had half the patience of when she was making potions, the result would be very different.
Lily tried her hardest to answer every single question the group made. It was her first time being surrounded by a group of curious customers. Of course, she wouldn't reveal her secrets on making the uncommon Potions. She only told them the general idea and her experiments which made their eyes glitter in enlightenment.
"What a great persistence! Hoho, young lady, I could tell that you are an extraordinary alchemist. I have a friend who pursues the path of alchemist too, and I would like to introduce you to her and her group. I'm sure that you guys could exchange pointers and help each other" Said a middle-aged woman in mage robe while smiling dotingly.
Lily's expression brightened when she heard what the middle-aged woman said. To be able to join an alchemist group was something to be celebrated for! It signified that her future progress would increase by leaps and bounds.
"If Mrs. Nana said so, then it must be true. She's a part of one of the biggest alchemist association in Maya. It seems like I need to curry some favor with you" chortled one of the people there. He was a knight with a giant shield on his back.
"How about I buy all your Potions that you have available? We need them for a BOSS raid, a level 30 BOSS was too hard for us if we don't have a good enough Potion" Asked another mage with a luxurious robe. One could tell that he's a moneybag just from a glance.
One offer after another came from them. They were the one who could tell the benefits in befriending a future great alchemist. Her current accomplishment may be insignificant, but in the future, she would be dazzling if she could be nurtured.
Seeing Lily's bright expression, Ragna decided not to disturb her. He quickly made his way out from the military field. Right when he was outside the field, a message came from Lily.
"Thanks! Consider your debt gone"
"How could I? I'll pay everything tomorrow. It was part of the agreement, right?"
"Hmph! Putting up a strong front? Consider me owing you a favor, then"
Ragna shrugged his shoulder while bitterly smiling, "It's settled then, see you later"
"Great hehe, see you later" Lily added a smiley icon to the end of her sentence.
Ragna closed his notification screen. There was quite some time before the server closed. His next destination was the blacksmith!

Author Note : Hi! Sorry for the long wait. Language barrier has been hard on me. That's why I'm currently making a compilation of common vocabs from my favorite novels. I hope that after it finished, I'll be able to write faster in a way that is easier for the reader to understand.
The update will come out sporadically, can't promise anything.

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.
