《Rebirth in a corrupt world》A3 - Chapter 6 - Forward we go

Author: Thank you for reading.
Oddly enough, there are people who didn’t properly read the description of the class system. He can switch whenever he feels like it. He just can't add too many without the properties degrading though it's not stopped if he did. Plus the system is subject for updates (God intervention) if you didn’t notice.
He is even at the stage of creating new classes since he is capable of experimenting with them (might throw up Mad Scientist for the fun of it too).
As for why the Gods are hindering him, it will come up later in the epilogue (and a few other things). Though implied in a coming conversation with Amare, so look out for it.
Also the sects aren’t the main things to worry about in this story they are just large families on a power trip. Kuro is about to reach the stage were these guys are stepping stones. The real enemies are something else entirely.
------------------------------------------------
As I was thinking about the what to do from now on, my thoughts were pulled away by the two who walked in.
*Twack*
“Ow” (Beth)
“Enough trying to mess with Kuro. Honestly you all need to grow up.” (Abra)
“Good Morning everyone.” (Abra’s son)
“Sorry Abra I was just curious, they look like it didn’t hurt so I wanted to know why.” (Beth)
“Hmph, I don't know what you’ve been through, but some men actually know what they are doing.” (Abra)
As fiery as always it seems. When I connected to Abra a few months back, she was in a trapped state. Thankfully I was able to pull her out. Since then she has been taking back her life with large strides, and her son Neil even more so. He brightened up seeing Abra become active again and doubled his efforts to get better. For his age, he is really small, but I’m not worried since he is now capable of walking on his own and shows signs of growth. If anything he should be able to take on a bit of work since he wants to become strong.
Abra took on the job of being the town seamstress. Making all sorts of clothing for sale from all the merchants passing through. Traffic increased when the city opened it's gates a few days ago making it possible to slowing move back into using the standard currency. The slave traders are being raided when they are spotted in the distance as well. No body seems to be saying anything. If the former slaves have no place to go, than they are welcome to stay in the town to live as long as they work properly. Housing isn’t an issue since many of the homes were vacant.
Due to these activities, our population broke past 110 people and is looking to grow in the near future. Most of the people don't even seem to complain since their lives took a notable turn for the better, though I think a few forms of recreation will be needed to vent some stress.
One thing I noticed from when I was talking to the girls, men in power seem to not care about their partners. So everyone's experiences were in no way pleasant. It's the reason I didn't mind their behavior, since they most likely didn't expect it.
“Kuro, are you feeling ok? From what I know of awakenings, they sometimes leave people in poor condition.” (Abra)
“Are you ok?” (Neil)
“Yea, never better.” (Kuro)
“Did you have to hit me?” (Beth)

“Hmph, I don't see why you have to ask it in such an intrusive way, you cant ask these two when Kuro goes off to do his business? And what's up with you lot, embarrassed? It’s not that big of a deal, heck back when I was-” (Abra)
“Ah! We get it! No need for any stories about that.” (Tammy)
“That's what I thought.” (Abra)
Haha, Abra is probably the type that never changes, she even comes armed with a wooden spoon. This time, I'll be sure to keep her safe.
“You better treat them right, or you know what's comin.” (Abra)
I smiled as Abra waved her spoon at me, seeing her laying on a cot unmoving always made me feel like I failed her. Now there is another to save. Father, I will take everything from you before I rip out your black heart *malicious grin*.
*Twack*
“Put that face away and finish your breakfast.” (Abra)
“...” (Kuro)
...
--------------------------------------------------
Crimson Son Sect events that transpired during Kuro’s dream Kuro’s Father’s POV
“Tell me, has the cretin finally showed signs of an awakening?” (Kuro’s Father)
“No Lord Setim. The time of their awakening varies with their strength. She appears to ignore her instincts to train.” (Attendant)
“Useless wench (I know just what to do to give it a bit of inspiration, and let off some steam.).” (Kuro’s Father)
I enter the room to see my two sons trying to antagonize the worm that refuses to cooperate. They have tendencies to go wild, but it doesn't matter as long as nothing implicates the sect. I gaze at the wench and saw the usual expression. This race is supposed to be legendary, but ain't worth much now after their fall from power, even so I paid big money to get a few to make a separate bloodline from their blood to reinforce my troops.
Unfortunately, after all this time, all I got was stillborns and a few sickly looking dreadling girls that never lived past a few months. Only that sow from a few years back gave out healthy looking brats after I tried to get a stronger lineage in the mix, but they were not human variants, identifiable from the hair. The last thing I need are a bunch of disgusting monsters around.
We can't find any others on the private market right now so we are stuck with this one, and she is useless until she awakens.
Hmm, I was about to beat the whelp to try and make it try and retaliate, but the thing began looking toward the empty corner. Normally, the thing never makes any movement. Whatever it was didn’t stay long since it turn back to it’s original position.
Whatever let’s just try and let off some steam and get this wench angry enough to train herself, even if it doesn’t work, it will still eventually awaken and finally be of use.
“Hey father, is their any place I can head to and have a bit of fun. The people in this city are a great bore, always hiding away.” (Second son)
“You and your little trips just made them wet between the legs at the sight of you. If you would have been more subtle, maybe they wouldn’t run so much.” (First son)
“*Sigh* ask the attendant maybe he heard something.” (Setim)
“Know anything?” (Second son)
“Uh, Ah...maybe.” (Attendant)
“Come on, out with it then.” (Second son)
“I heard some talk from passing merchants about a village a bit aways that has become a pleasant spot to stop by.” (Attendant)
“Hmm, I thought small settlements couldn’t protect themselves very long from all the monsters running around.” (First son)
“Well, they seem to be doing fine from the reports.” (Attendant)
“Ah, there must be some interesting people in the village. Father can I head over and play there a bit.” (Second son)
“You can head over with some guards after we finish attending to our guests that are on their way here.” (Setim)
“My lord, your guests have entered the compound and are on their way to greet you at the main hall.” (Guard)
Crap, well, looks like I can't let off some steam like I intended, such a bother. This waste better hurry up and awaken. I’d rather not waste any further resources on it than necessary. Now I’m stuck playing nice with these asshats for the next few weeks.
-------------------------------------------
Kuro’s POV
I reviewed a lot of things that changed after my awakening and noticed a few skills merely got a bit stronger than before. The main discovery was what made Shiro and Puerial flip out from my blood awakening.
In a nutshell, my [Connected] trait had a hidden gimmick where those who are in love with me are affected by one of it's effects called ‘Bonds of Love’. Whenever my emotions are in a heightened state, or vice versa, we all feel it. Not hard to guess what that lead to, and what it implies. For some reason though, it was hidden till after the fact.
Though getting back on track I only had one thing I needed to make that will help me take down this sect, and many more. After a bit of work the prototype was done and ready for mass production.
Binding NeedleThrown WeaponUniqueDescription:A small sharp throwable needle that binds the ones that are pierced to the controllers will.Effects:Restricts Actions
Binding - None
Pain giver (massive) (inactive)
Death (instant) (inactive)
These guys like to treat lives as fodder in the wind. Now though, I will change everything for them. Unlike the collars that need to be attached in close proximity, this can be thrown, or shot with enough ingenuity. Plus these things are easy to make with the [Alchemist] class as well. What makes it great is that rune smiths aren’t skilled enough to enchant small thin objects like this, so there are no other groups using this to bind people.
The controller for the needs is currently set to the basic restrict, but I’ll change that when I start my plans. Though even if I have this, it won't work if the opponent is too strong. It’s something I learned from the research I gathered. This is mainly for the annoying grunts. With them out of the way, only the leaders need to be taken care of.
So with these thoughts I began my mass production..
…
After finishing up with the needles and a few other projects, I began practicing my combat abilities. Least to say, I have a lot more versatility when it comes to combat. Though Amare warned me that the system won't stay this way forever and to take advantage now. The main thing she wanted me to do was invent unique variants from mixing classes, and learning the skills they provide so I wouldn’t need the class to perform the skill.
I could still get variant classes, but it will be a lot harder.
Each class had at least one skill, though a few were pretty useless, some were actually pretty useful. The [Warrior 1] class had the [Breaker] skill that allowed me to use a hidden force that directly attacks past people's defenses. It’s not overly strong until I increase its level, but is still a game changer in any fight.
I got a few other combat skills as well from those classes. Hank and Lock became a whole lot easier to handle when I got them as well. Much to their displeasure.
The three sub-chosen have also finally completed to first stage of their training, so now they aren’t so weak. Those three don't really have a lot of benefits from their patrons besides some boosts in their specs. Not much help for them really. Though after they started cultivating their mana and learning how to properly fight, I’d rate them at about D rank.
The two guys are Carl and Max, while the girl is Darcey. These three ended up together relatively early on and developed an odd companionship. Behavior aside, they are decent enough people.
They kept asking about my past life though, since all the chosen were supposedly selected around the same time period. Though I refused to tell them where I came from since it's not something I like talking about. This made them a bit disappointed. Maybe one day I will mention it but not now.
…
8 days passed and I gained two new classes [Mad Scientist 5] and [Combat Scion 6]. The first one is easy to guess with my hobbies, the second one was me adding a bunch of combat classes together while trying to invent a new skill that incorporates them all.
In the end, the skill become a type of fighting technique call [Asunder Style] that is suited mostly for close range, yet incorporates some long range techniques to cover its weaknesses. It oddly started forming naturally when the skill generated and the class formed. Though I feel it can become a lot more destructive with further improvement.
Everyone else also seems to be training harder lately. The guys especially show they want to overcome something.
I’m only taking my time right now since I can feel my sister through this strange connection we have. She isn’t in my [Connected] trait, yet I feel that she is waiting patiently and is fine. I can only think this connection has something to do with our race rather than it being a spiritual link. Soon her wait will be over...
Hmm, It feels like something’s...off.
--------------------------------------
Second son’s POV
Haha, finally there’s that village the attendant talked about. Yep, the place isn’t run down at all. I wonder what types of fun I can have in this place.
“I wonder if there will be any rebellious folks to crush under my foot. Hehe.” (Second son)
-------------------------------------
A/N: Feel free to throw up any ideas for classes, if it's suitable, it may come up at some point. Also try to guess what he is gonna do to the sects. Your opinions intrigue me.
Like the input on classes, just remember, we now know that his current system is subject to change since the gods are unreasonable due to reasons. MC needs to take advantage of what he has now while he can.
Also the Binding needles will only clear out the fodder. The MC will only have to deal with the family head and such. Not to mention his skills were enhanced and his magic is also stronger. At this point, he reached the stage where he could now fight the sects he nuked with no issues with his current self. (I get the feeling some may not agree though, don't treat the blood awakening like it was a simple matter, it did a lot of things to his body, especially how he can grow further in strength.)
