Author: So after some deliberation I removed the tragedy tag. I intended for some things to happen and it won't change, but rest assured the harem will be relatively fine (damaged is still in the air, but damaged can be fixed!).

Their clinginess is also due to a few factors. Shiro grew up in constant close proximity to Kuro and now has no reference for boundaries with him (especially now with his improving scent). Puerial is desperate for Kuro to treat her in the same way as Shiro, and was, again, hinted to be taught some strange things (influenced by Shiro too).

The following days have been really pissing me off. That shitty guy has been pushing his luck since he showed up. I can't kill him without becoming an open target for the god's wrath as retribution for impeding their activities. He also can't kill me for the same reason, although only two gods would even care. We both have already identified each other as one of the chosen.

My companions and me all wear the modified cloaks so he still doesn't know of our true appearance. But based on his personality, if he spots either two without it, he will relentlessly try to get them as harem members.

I seriously can't believe such a guy was chosen for this assignment. Couldn't the gods have gotten someone normal. Ah, no wait a normal person wouldn't want to come to this type of world.

Ever since that pervert showed up Illis has started calling me brother. I called her out on the sudden change but she didn’t answer why and fervently changed the subject. The others too seemed to stop being on guard around me. I’ve noticed their apprehension before but seeing them totally trust me now is probably the only benefit that pervert has caused for me.

But this seriously has gone on for far too long. He keeps annoying the customers. Hitting on females with his boasting and challenging males for some type of dominance play. This guy is trying too hard to stand above others. Is it an inferiority complex he brought from his past life or is he just compensating for something in general.

He has attacked me to gain entrance to the shop everyday for the past thirteen days. Every time is the same result of him being carried away half-dead. This time though I’m going to end it. I’ve thought about it for a while, and this method should be ok. *Malicious grin* after all it is his fault for what's about to happen.

I heard some weird encouragement from the others as I was heading out, what face? Also wouldn't people try to stop violence? I was about to ask but it looks like the pervert is trying to break the door. Let's just resolve this and continue on with our lives.

Dealing with this idiot is incredibly numbing. From now on dialog is now forfeit, nothing I say can stop this fool anyway.

To be honest he has some skill but it's too unrefined when compared to Hank or Lock. I myself have still been diligently drilling the basics into my body along with the others. Fancy techniques don't mean anything if they don't hit. Having a solid foundation goes a long way though.

As we both began charging toward each other, I funneled ‘wind affinity’ mana into my legs. After a while I was able to control [Magic Clad] to only cover parts of my body. This makes the upkeep lessen, and it's versatility increase with different variations of clad body parts. This put it at the intermediate level. The skill itself changed a bit too.

The skill slowed down in its advancement when it reached intermediate. I’ll most likely have to discover another one of it's secrets to improve its growth. So far it gets the job done though. However, discovering it's effects proved difficult for some reason. Since I have a good understanding of the elements I thought it would be simple. But getting the affinities to have those effects was difficult to discover, some were also by accident.

Regardless, it is helpful in battle. The rest of my skills all stopped at the bottleneck, besides [Close Combat] being at 14/100 and [Blade Utility] being 15/100. I won't even mention [Mana Synthesis]. I’ve been trying to discover the properties to their next advancement like [Magic Clad], but it has proved difficult. The only other skill to advance was [Handicraft].

Amare said not to worry for now but seemed annoyed about something. Besides my skills stagnating my stats have been improving fine for their current level. I’m mostly just improving my control over how to use them properly right now.

All in all, the idiot before me is all strength no skill, sort to speak.

With swift movements he was already on the floor screaming that I cheated. I warned him before that if he didn't stop I will end it forcefully. The best way to do it is to take away the thing his mind is running on.

I grabbed the crying mess of a former man, and threw him into some random alleyway. He isn't dead so those gods can't say anything. The girls in the restaurant started clapping, while the guys in the vicinity were all holding their crotch with pale faces. I ignored the quiet crowd and returned inside to finish my morning routine, already forgetting about the pervert.

Finishing up with Abra and the boy’s treatment left me a bit happy. From my observations the two are stabilized enough for me to no longer need to heal them. The boy even shows signs of becoming more aware of his surroundings. When he improves further I’ll have him take some educational classes to help him.

Now it is safe for me and my group to head toward the dungeon. Any problems this city could have against my group was confirmed to be undermining each other. Each sect is seriously suppressing each other and preventing any movement between them. I’ve seen them confronting each other but nothing else has happened. I actually unintentionally placed my two stores in the middle of the three territories and they are being used as a type of neutral ground with my group as the intermediary. Or that's what the Intel says at least. These sects are too complicated to get a proper read on unless you're a part of it. For now it seems to be the case, since all three groups have frequented this area with no visible altercations between them.

The general goods store is also a huge hit. With the thieves guild protecting it from nonmembers, the place has been doing great. They have also said I can meet their leader when I get back from the dungeon too, since their boss is busy at the moment.

However, in this world, anyone who is successful will always be targeted no matter what. Everyone knows this and has all chipped in to make contingencies.

From all the Intel I have had my growing information network gather, two things have come up. Puerial’s home is most likely past ‘Demon Beast Grove’, and the powerful influences in the area have barely glanced in my direction.

Demon Beast Grove is one of the very large forests in the area with a dense concentration of mana. The monsters in that forest are mostly demon beasts types, which are extremely hostile toward anyone they encounter.

I could survive a few encounters but...yea it's like being attacked by a never ending assault of monsters. Unless they instinctively feel pressured to stay away, most if not all of them will attack the moment they sense your presence.

So enhancing my groups battle strength in the dungeon is imperative if we want to proceed.

The others bid us a safe trip as we headed off. We did some research on the dungeon already so we have a relative idea of what to expect and prepared accordingly. Now let's just hope to get some good things.
