Nexus goes over the list of things that have been done throughout the entire territory it expanded and claimed recently. Just as Pioneer planned, a new colony has been established in the nuclear-glassed chamber for the sole purpose of expanding their Hirudocrystallus production, the drones has also reinforced the tunnels that connect the colonies together and constructed highway system to improve their supply route quality, they have the resources to do so as it only cost them Viricrystallus for the most part.

Aside from that, hundreds of new drones have been produced since Pioneer left the colony to check the surviving adventurers, many of which left the colonies in groups to explore and expand the colony's sphere of influence. Two new 'elites' have also joined Pioneer's robot army, a new Nexus overseer drone, which has been designated as the new Satellite Colony 3 overseer, and the first Quadro 1000 Super Battle Drone.

The Quadro 1000 is a walking battle tank in literal meaning, the new drone sports a full sized magical energy reactor in its heavily armored hull which is capable of protecting the Quadro even against Greater Hivewarrior's ice spear attacks from the front and the sides multiple times, for offensive capability the heavy four-legged tanks is equipped with a pair of 4 barreled 40mm Gatling cannons, or Tactical Medium Ordnance modules, which are mounted coaxially to a large 100mm fast firing assault cannon 'Tactical Heavy Ordnance module' mounted in the middle of its torso. Quadro also has 8 Arc Projectors mounted around the torso for 360 short range defensive system and a pair of strong, armored weapon arms, one is a standard humanoid hand-nanite delivery combi module, and one is a large, overcharged chainsaw for melee combat. Nexus also added in a few newly technology it developed lately to allow Quadro lowers its legs and turns into 4 independent electromagnetic propelled hover pads to allow Quadro maneuvering in short tunnels or fast redeployment by using the highways.

As Quadro leaves the factory and looks around quietly, Nexus quickly brings up all the needed data to update Quadro databank with the latest information before returning to its normal duty. The large Super battle drone quickly reads and analyzes the data packets as it slowly turns and leaves the colony, the machine will be more useful in the frontline than staying around in the colony.

Meanwhile, in the outsiders' shelter, Pioneer is working its best to fix the tangled mana flows in the adventures, the process has been going on for 6 minutes long and some of the adventures are getting impatient as all they see is simply Pioneer intensively staring at their sick allies. However, the hotheaded adventures are calmed by the spellcasters in the group, who is able to feel the magical energy around them and know the thing is manipulating that energy somehow, someway. And the ill adventurers are indeed seemingly getting better very slowly.

"...How long is it?"

"I don't know."

"You think I can ask it the concept of time by pointing at things?"

"It seems so...Ah, you don't have magic sense, do you, Carius?"

The friendly and open conversation between the two experienced adventurers was interrupted by Pioneer as its other temporary body changed its arm structure into the lightning rod. Pioneer had misunderstood Carius as what it could understand at that moment was Carius's tone sudden change to a 'hostile' one. The core had no idea that it was only some teasings and jokes, instead, it understood the situation as 'He is going to do something bad' based on his tone alone.

"What is it doing?...What did it just say?"

"I don't know...Ah...Pioneer...What...did...you...say?"

The core observes the girl's gestures as it tries guessing the meaning of the thing she just said while fixing the adventurers.

"...Violence...This...No."

Pioneer tells its main temporary body to 'gently' punch its other temporary body while shaking its head quickly as the adventures jumped a bit. They all got surprised by Pioneer's random actions as they watched the thing's gestures very carefully.

"Um...Maybe it thought we were fighting...And it did not like that."

"Indeed...So this thing is capable of understanding us to some extent, huh..."

Pioneer orders its temporary body to step back after spending 25 minutes trying its best to save the ill adventurers, but only 3 out of 5 patients survived the operation, the first two didn't make it due because of the errors Pioneer accidentally made during the curing session, all the errors were lack of proper data-related errors. So the core couldn't do much about it aside from noting them down to avoid those mistakes on other patients.

Some of the adventurers were furious of the event, but they couldn't do much as Erika and Carius held them down and persuaded them to calm down and let it go, even though they had lost more friends because of the thing's action, the fact that Pioneer still saved some others was undeniable at that moment.

Pioneer points at the Battle Drone standing guard the entrance for a moment before it leaves the area, Pioneer assumes leaving them alone for a while to cope with the changes is a better idea than lingering around in front of them, besides, Pioneer still has other works to do back in the main colony.

Pioneer steps on the highway and starts moving back to the colony after ordering Nexus in the main colony to start the construction of Pioneer 1's body. Finally, the core can stop using the temporary body and moving on to a proper well armored and fully developed hull, something that the core supposed to be in control of instead of the nanite based temporary body it is using now.

As Pioneer and its robot army continue expanding their base and improving themselves, a new war has officially begun on the surface area as monsters of the forsaken dungeon clashing their pincers and mandibles against swords and magics of the forged alliance between the surface-dwelling races. And soon, they will find out they are not the only one fighting in this war.
