The machine slows down a bit after noticing a speck of light far away from it, along with it is the sound of someone hitting the dirt wall with some kind of pointy tool, the machine guesses the tool is a pickaxe or some kind of dirt loosening pole or drill. From that the machine draws another logical conclusion to the source of the sound it heard previously.

"How much more do we have to dig?. I'm starting to get bored"
"I said stop complaining!"
[/Lifeform_detail | +add \Speech: Yes]
The machine is unable to understand anything from what it heard, however, it is able to break down the two's speech and confirm that there has some kind of structure and meaning to it as the whole thing is not just some gibberish growling and screeching. And furthermore, the property of their voice and the way they speak seem to reminiscence its maker language structure and tone. The machine thought the one who speaking was human, or at least something very similar to a human, a more advanced robot even. With that in store, the machine wants to come closer to fully investigate it, if the source of the sound is not of human origin, then at least the machine will finish its second objective and discovered new lifeform regardless.
[/Collision_warning]
The machine comes to a stop as it looks up and around the tunnel slowly to investigate what made collision sensor buzzed up in its CPU, there the machine finds out that the tunnel is getting smaller and smaller as the path progress, the machine soon won't be able to move forward and likely will have to dig its way forward by the look of it, but if the machine does that it will risk getting buried again if the tunnel collapse. The machine can not take that risk.
[/New_objective: Search for alternative path]
The machine slowly takes a few steps back before turning around and doing some backtrack while looking around carefully once again to find a new route to the source of the sound, at the same time the machine maps out the tunnel system to get to know where it is at in case the machine need to backtrack again to find another route.
The machine walked for 10 minutes straight without stopping, and it seems like the machine not gonna get tired out and stop the search anytime soon unless there have a valid reason for it to stop, power is one of it as the machine only has 22 minutes of run time left before the machine has to shut down and waits for the auxiliary power module to recharge the power bank again.
Speaking of the auxiliary power module, the machine has not yet able to produce a valid answer for the odd thermal anomaly on the thermal power converter, the machine theorized that the thermal converter had its internal structural and components changed somewhat like the rest of its body and something is heating it up through radiation, but as the Geiger counter giving normal ambient value and other electromagnetic reader returning ambient value, the machine thought that the radiation was not normal electromagnetic radiation but something else that the machine does not have any tool to read it, but regardless, the machine won't change the anomaly tag 'Undiscovered' anytime soon.

As the machine slows down a bit to scan the smaller side tunnels, it meet a small group of humanoid looking lifeforms, but the machine can not identify the lifeform clearly as it still in infrared mode, in its eyes, the machine only see a group of orange glowing figures moving around and shouting something, the machine notice that visible light spectrum is available so it decides to turn on the standard optic and overlays the image feed to fuse the two visible light and infrared light image together as it turns toward the group slowly.
[/Unknown_technology_discovered]
[/Lifeform02_identified]
[/Lifeform02_rename | Human (?)]
The machine looks at the floating ball of light in the middle of the group for a second before looking back at the group, all had their sword draw and arrow aimed at the machine, the machine does not consider it as a threat despite its poor condition however, it certain that iron sword and arrow won't even make a scratch on its old, damaged armour and internals. Still, one thing draws the machine's attention more than ever, a human whispering something as electric sparks appear behind the human, then some kind of floating robot covered in electric sparks appears out of nowhere before it charges at the machine while the humans behind it cheer loudly.
"Bzzztzrtztztr"
The machine tried to say something to stop the group, but the voice box seem to be damaged beyond repair as it emit a series of buzzing sound like an old TV that lost signal, the machine never had any intention of harming the human nor the machine as its standard procedure to avoid provoking a war against another alien race back in its world, but the machine is allowed to defend itself with nonlethal or lethal force depending on the threat level in order to protect itself. So until the unknown creature's hand touch its hull and cause any real damage, the machine just stands there and watch quietly to observe the event to unfold.

Arc the Human's hero POV.
Arc is an A rank adventure from The Empire of Azuria, a country ruled by a human king and elven queen, the country follows the teaching of Azure, a sacred book about morals and religious guides which emphasized on race equality and acceptance of changes, a place where slaves are protected by the law of the country and rules of the owner themselves, a heaven on Auraxim.
However Azuria is not a country without flaws, the country is at constant war with its neighboring countries due to differences in religious and ideals, it is also a place riddled with monsters, dungeons, and plague despite their goddess and the king's effort to help their citizen. From establishing militia for defensive forces and lowering taxes for disaster-stricken areas to establishing guilds to provide more job for the people. Arc and his companions is a part of adventure guild, an organization who spend money and manpower to recruit freelancers and mercenaries to aid the people by providing protection. Today Arc and his party accepted a request for exploring a cave near a dwarven mine to clear out monsters and make a map for them, unbeknown to them it is also the same cave the machine is in.

"These bats are sure annoying, huh, Arc?"-Said one of his companion, Lilica, an elven B-rank mage.
"Indeed, their loud screech and poisonous body fluid is probably one of the reasons why this job promise lots of coins"-Said Arc
"Ehh?. These bats feel like feral goblins, weak and harmless, eh?"-Said Thekeg, a dwarven A rank fighter.
The other two female members, a human archer, and elven archer, just shrugs slightly, the two does not seem to be very talkative at the moment as they try to not complain about the stinky bat feces everywhere in the cave.
"...Huh?...What this?"
Lilica stops the party as she looks at an odd symbol on the ground, it does not look like a footprint at all as it just 3 large straight lines in form of an Y, the look of it does not really resemble any kind of monster nor golem nor other living object they knew.
"Uu...Maybe it is some kind of guidance symbol?. An arrow point where to go maybe?"-Said Arc as he inspects the odd symbol with Lilica
"Maybe...It an undead knight from legend, a draconian seeking for vengeance after betrayed by his friend, heeee?...Oh, wait...I can feel something coming..."
Thekeg quickly kneels down and touch the ground as he invokes his Earthen sense, an ability of dwarven race to feel disturbances and whispering of the ground like the way elf listening to the song of nature in the forest. The dwarven can feel something big and heavy limping toward his party, but he not sure what it is, the thing can't be a monster as it lack one of those human nor another kind of humanoid races as the sound too metallic and rigid, Thekeg feels weird and a bit creeped out as he finds himself truly uncertain of what is coming toward the group.
"Come on, shorty, that is not funny."-Said Lilica as she summon a wisp to lit up the area, then she looks over at one of the archer member as she tilts her head slightly
"And Laura, pointing at other people face is rude, you know?. I'm older than you by a hundred years old!"-Said Lilica as Arc laughs lightly while looking back at his party.
"G-....G-...G-"-The female archer shutters as she steps back slightly while moving her hands around in an attempt to grab her bow, seeing this weird action, both Arc and Lilica turn around to see what the archer is speaking about, and there they saw their new nightmare.
In front of the party is something closely resemble an undead knight, a being without a soul nor a monster core, with the rusty black armor on its body full of cracks and dirt, its right hand is bone-y and most of its fingers are either missing or twisted in an unbelievable manner, the thing is giant and inhumanly terrifying in the dark, yet its movement is so quiet and it emit no aura for others to feel, the thing does not give any friendly nor malicious feeling to it to the point that everyone's mind begin to wildly imagine what the thing is thinking and what it gonna do to them because it is so quietly and eerie neutral.
"W-What is this?!. The contract speak of no undead being!"-Arc shouts loudly as he draws his sword and raises his shield, Arc thought the thing is using some kind of paralysis or petrifying magic on him and his party as he notices the seem-to-be vision slit on the thing's head is glowing in white dimly. His companions at this point shake off their delusional thoughts and raise their weapon up as well.
"Grr...Thunder, hear my words, devour my magic powers, gather and prepare, I command you, destroy my enemy, come, Archon of Destruction!"
Lilica chants her spell perfectly as she raises her hands and creates a magic circle in mid-air, followed by the creature she summon begin to take form by eating the mana she released and gathered in the magic circle, a few seconds later the magic circle 'break' like a plate made out of glass as it release a lightning spirit in form of a gigantic hovering, legless knight.
"Go, Archon of Destruction, destroy that abomination!"
Lilica shouts loudly while lowering her arms and points at the machine as the archon flies toward it with its right arm raised high to charge it up with lightning for a thunder strike, meanwhile her companions begin to scatter out while cheering Lilica for her quick thinking.
"Wha-What the hell is that sound?!"
Arc covers his ears as the machine 'roar' loudly, the sound of it feel like something came straight out from hell to take your soul down with it, it sounds like void matter being ground down to specks of nothingness. A frightening and nightmare inducing sound it is. At that point, Lilica begins to feel regret of calling the Archon, what if the Archon can't defeat that thing and make it even angrier?. Would it the end of her and Arc's party here?. The young elf is baffled at the scene, it's too late to call back the Archon now as his thundering punch is about to reach the machine's face, she can only hope that luck is on her side and not with the nightmarish thing.
