Estiel : " We've been walking for some hours now and we still didn't find anything... "

Shina : " Come on, don't be pessimistic, we are already lucky to have found a river earlier to wash Eniel's wound. "

Fiona : " By the way, are you okay ? You were the most injured one in the tower. "

Shina : " I am fine ! Something like that isn't a problem for me ! "

We've been walking for a few hours now since we found Nuya who is by the way is sleeping on my head with Pan. Within those hours they got pretty close and now sleep together... my head is heavy...

Eniel is getting carried by Fiona and Estiel, she lost a lot of blood due to her wound at the tower; it bled while we were sleeping. I hope it won't get infected.

As for me, I am walking in front of everyone armed with Kiel; I am the only one who can defend our group against monster.

Estiel : " KIAAAAAAA!! "

Hearing Estiel shout, I turned back to look at them; they fell in a hole. I walked next to the hole so I didn't fall.

??? : " Some Dwener fell in one of our trap ! Ready your bow ! " I heard someone shout a dozen of meters away.

I stood in front of the wall with Kiel in my hand ready to fight whatever would come a me. Some seconds after, a group of thirty elves came out all armed with a bow.

Elf : " Arias, it doesn't seem to be a group of Dweners but of kids "

Arias : " One of them is injured... We can't let them here, let's bring them to the village. "

Elf : " Yes Sir. "

Shina : " Who are you ?! "

The elves seemed to have decided of what they would do of us without consulting us. The one they refer as Arias seem to be their leader, he is a man who look to be around 16 years old. His short blond hairs seem to fly in the wind, he is dressed in a green tunic of the color of the tree's leaves.

Arias : " My name is Arias, I am the son of the chief of our village not far from here; please follow us, we can treat your friend. "

Estiel : " Shina, what's happening up there ?! "

Shina : " Why should we trust you ? " I said while positioning my sword in front of him.

Arias : " If we wanted to kill you, we would have already done so. "

We are completely surrounded by elves armed, even if I manage to escape I wouldn't be able to save the others who fell in the hole. We got no other choice than following them, also if they are really sincere, then we may a place where to live until Veralox find us.

Shina : " Fine, please help us. " The man showed a little smile.

After helping the others to get out of the hole, we followed the elves for around forty minutes. While we were walking, I saw the elves staring at me; or more precisely at the two sleeping things on my head... With all that commotion, they didn't even wake up.

We finally arrived at their village, their village is made of wooden house constructed in the trees. But the first thing we saw is a group of ten strange creatures.

They look like goblin, but with sharp claw and teeth, their skin is in piece and rotten. Their body is surrounded by a black mist that seem to corrupt the nature around them.

Arias : " Dweners ! " He said with a cold look in his eyes in which you could seem his anger.

Arias : " Everyone ready your bow, kill them all ! You girls stay behind. " I nodded.

The Dweners charged at us, the elves fired a volley of arrows, but only five of them fell. The others continued to run with arrow stuck in their arm and legs, it didn't seem to bother them.

Arias : " Aim for the head ! "

The elves fired another volley of arrows and took down the rest of them.

Arias : " You don't have to worry, it shoul... " A cry interrupted him.

Elf : " ARRRGGG "

Female Elf : " More are coming from behind us ! "

Arias : " Take out your sword, we have to kill them all ! "

All the elves took out their sword made of silver; but they don't seem trained for melee fight. Three of the Dwener died while 5 of the elves are injured.

Two Dwener came in our direction. Arias rushed to them and managed to kill one of them but the second one managed to pass and is running toward us.

Arias : " Someone intercept that Dwener ! " He shouted, but all the others elves are already busy fighting.

I simply took Kiel and pierced the head of the Dwener, Arias seemed to be shocked.

Shina : " Want some help ? " I asked him smiling at his surprised face.

Arias : " Fine, but if it's too dangerous, get out of there. "

I ran toward all the others Dwener and started to cut one after another, at each slash one head fell. Even when they tried to block my sword, it just cut past their weapon, for some reason this sword seem familiar.

While I swung Kiel, I also used my mana to make earth spike come out of the ground and impale a group of Dwener. When the fight ended, all the elves looked at me astonished.

Nuya : " Morning... What's up mistress ?... " Said the little fairy on my head half asleep... you wake up now?...

Shina : " Nothing, just killing some monster. "

Nuya : " Okay... Wait what ?! "

Shina : " So Arias, what are these things ? They don't seem to be living in this forest. "

Arias : " Ah... Oh yeah, they are some creature made by a dark wizard, they started to invade this forest two months ago. We managed to repel them, but they keep coming. "

Shina : " Why don't you just go attack the wizard then ? "

Arias : " My father led a group of two hundred elves warrior two days earlier, but they didn't return. We don't know what happened to them. "

Shina : " Did you try asking the kingdom ? I also saw some fairies around, they can help too; you aren't the only one living in the forest. "

Two days passed since we arrived to the village and Eniel's injury is almost healed; but she still need to rest, elf's medecine are awesome. While Fiona and Estiel are playing with the others elves kids, I am helping Arias to guard around the village... I wanted to go play too...

I heard a lot of story about elf's food, made out only of vegetable; and all this is false, they eat a lot of meat as well. They say that only fairies only eat vegetables.

While we were making a round around the village, we were called back by one of the villagers, someone important came.

When we arrived, the elder of the village who is also the current chief and grandfather of Arias was talking with a woman. That woman seem to be in her 20th and is around Arias height. Her purples long hairs seem to be shining with the sun's light, I also never saw any woman with breasts as big as hers. But what instantly caught my eyes is her pair of wings.

When Nuya saw the woman, she hid under my clothes.

Elder : " They seem to have arrived. "

Woman : " So here th... " When her eyes posed on me, she stopped talking and looked at me with serious eyes.

Woman : " You... what are you ? "

Shina : " Shouldn't you introduce yourself first ? "

Woman : " Hmph, I am the Fairy Queen Isendel, now answer my question. " She said in an arrogant tone.

Shina : " I am Shina Dragonheart, a demihuman as you can see. "

Isendel : " You can't deceive me young girl, your soul isn't even close to a demihuman one. At first, I though you were a dragon, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Your soul is made of crimson dark light; I never saw a light of this color before... I ask you once again, what are you ? "

Shina : " I ll tell you if you help the elves of this village to beat the dark wizard destroying the forest. "

Isendel : " Why should I help them ? And why should I accept your demand when I can just force you answer my question ? "

Elder : " Please milady, stop ! "

Ignoring the elf elder, she pointed her finger toward me and a small ball of light appeared in front of it. From that ball transformed into a ray of light. I managed to dodged the ray of light, but ten others came right after.

I took Kiel in my hand and made a little wall of earth come out of the ground, I used it to jump in the air to dodge the beams. Each beams many holes through the little wall, I infused my body with wind mana and dodged all the smalls beam she continuously sent.

When I arrived in front of her, I swung Kiel toward her.

Isendel : " This is useless, you won't be able to break my shield. " She said while looking down on me.

But after looking at my sword, her expression totally changed. Kiel stopped a little when it came in contact with her shield, but after a few seconds, it passed through it.

She flew backward and dodged my sword.

Isendel : " This sword... it's Kiel, why do you have it ?! "

Shina : " Can't we just stop fighting ? " She seem to be strong and I feel that she is testing me since the begin of the fight.

Isendel : " This time I ll go seriously. " There were no longer any arrogance in her eyes, she is going all out.

I have no other choice, I hope Kiel will be able to withstand being infused with Dark magic.

I infused dark mana in Kiel and it's appearance began to change, some red lines appeared on the sword. Kiel was now emitting a dark red baleful aura.

Isendel : " T-This is... " Her face began to become pale.

A bright light began to form two small light sphere above her hand, it is a sphere made of compressed light mana.

I charged at her, at each step, Kiel's aura is getting stronger; I can feel something like a pulse coming from Kiel.

Isendel was out of breath after making those two balls of light, she sent the first ball at me; when the ball was close enough, I slashed it. The ball completely disappeared in contact with the dark aura of Kiel.

After the light sphere disappeared, I looked toward Isendel, but she was gone; I felt her second light sphere appear behind me.

Isendel : " Still too young and inexperienced. " She said as her second ball entered my body.

Isendel : " For a dark being like you, it should be painful. " She said with a little smirk.

The ball totally entered my body... but I didn't feel anything, I even felt better after that.

I twisted my body and swung my sword at her, she supposed that I was injured by her magic and didn't expect me to attack. She still managed to retreat, but she was injured on the body; the dark crimson aura on Kiel infected her and started to spread on her.

Isendel : " H-How ?! " She said astonished

Shina : " I think Light and Darkness can't hurt me... "

Isendel : " You think ? "

Shina : " I am not sure, I don't know everything about myself. "

Arias and the elder were all shocked by the fight, and even more by the winner.

Elder : " Y-Y-You've beat the Fairy Queen ?! "

Shina : " She didn't leave me the choice... We should still help her, she can help us against the dark wizard. "

Arias : " I thought you were a demihuman, but I guess I was wrong. Maybe you ll be able to help us against the dark wizard... "

Shina : " For now let's help her, we can help you after Eniel is healed. But in return you'll have to help us with something too. "

Arias : " What do you want in return ? "

Shina : " Information, we need to get back to our country after all. "
