Two weeks passed since my rankings exams, my morning class was mathematics, I really felt bored because they were teaching multiplication and division; the only funny thing was observing Fiona and Estiel who's head were producing a lot of smoke. They are REALLY bad at maths.

After class, normally Veyna would be waiting for us at the door, since we met, she is always following us; but it doesn't bother me, after all she is kind and give me cookies...I mean bad guys won't give you cookies right?

However today she wasn't there, maybe she is already waiting for us at the cafeteria; the teacher called me to talk about who taught me maths before, he was surprised by my level. Estiel and Fiona said that they would wait for me at the exit of the building; and here I am now, when did I get out of the building? I didn't even realise, maybe I took the wrong exit.

Shina : " Waaah, I am I lost again? Where did Fiona and Estiel go?" I should have asked them to wait for me at the classroom...

Boy1 : " Hey you, follow us. " Someone shooted behind me, is he talking to me? I approached them, it was three teenagers, two with a golden bracelet and one with a diamond one; they must be nobles and royalty from a country; the first noble is a pretty fat boy with short brown hair and eyes, as he was looking at me, he licked his lips... I feel shiver going through my body.

The second noble is unlike the first one a martial arts praticer, I can tell that from his tanned body that he is welltrained, he somehow look like a soldier, his longs hairs are black just like his eyes; I feel like he is looking down on me.

The last boy, with the diamond ring looked like a knight from stories, his short golden hairs seem to be flying in the wind, his eyes are of a deep blue and beautiful but also seem to look at me like I was something lowly. I don't like those guys.

Shina : " Mhh, who are you ? "

Boy2 : " He is the crown prince of Theristid and your new master, be honored that he came here by himself just to take you as his slave. "

Shina : " I refuse " I answered seriously, why should I become his slave?

Boy2 " You bitch, who said you had a choice ? "

Shina : " Why should I be his slave ?! "

My parents sent me here so that I can experience a new life; I already experienced a slave life before, and I absolutely don't even want to go back to that powerless me.

Prince : " It seem you don't understand your place; your race was made only to serve my country, you CAN'T refuse. "

Shina : " You... Are you sure you are alright in your head? "

Did he injure himself or eat something bad? He can't really think someone demihumans are born to be the servant of his country right?

Prince : " Yo-You ! If you don't want to follow me, then I ll just use force and train you properly later ! "

He took his claymore and aimed at my leg, he seem to be skilled at Earth-Shaking style, I didn't expect him to attack me like that and barely managed to dodge his strike. I need to run away.

As I though that, I found myself surrounded; so that attack was just a bait made to keep me focused on him while his allies encircled me.

The soldier like man rushed at me and made a slow horizontal slash which I easily dodged; I was surprised that someone who seem tp have spent many years training could only do an attack from this level.

I realised it was intentional when I felt something made of mana coming straightforward to my shoulder to my left shoulder; it must be the fat boy.

I only had enough time to deviate the spike using my right hand; however it was hurt in the process.They continued to attack me, not willing to let me rest; once again the soldier man slashed at me, but this time it was a perfect diagonal slash, strong and fast.

I had enough time to gather light mana into my hand and start form a shield to block his claymore; but not enought to complete the shield; it at least managed to block the strike, but not the impact brought by it, I was sent flying to a tree.

The impact I received from the tree made me dizzy, when I managed to lift my eyes, I saw a rock flying straight to me; I tried to gather my mana but the shock made me unable.

Shina : " Shield " I used the Ancient Language and what seemed like a barrier appeared in front of me, I still don't really know how to use it so I try not to use it unless I have no others choices.

The rock collided with my barrier and dropped to the ground, I was still unable to gather my mana, so I used an incantation which automatically gather the mana around and add mine to make the spell.

Shina : " Spirits of fire, join your strenght together with mine and destroy my enemy, Fireball "

I launched a blue fireball to their mage who summoned a wall of water.

Prince : " DODGE ! " The prince shooted as the fireball approached, it passed easily through the water wall, but their mage jumped and dodged it; the fireball stopped after hitting a tree and started a fire.

They looked at the fire surprised, I took that as an opportinity to escape, but I had troubles running and they quickly noticed me, their mage started to cast a spell; mud started to cover my feets and solidified, I couldn't move them anymore.

Their mage looked to be exhausted, my reals enemy are the two swordmens.

Shina : "Spirits of the earth, join your strenght with mine and crush everything on my road, Earth Ball ! "

I learned recently that the earth produced by my magic is extremely hard, I launched what seemed to be a ball of mud to the prince who tried to fight it head-on; when his sword came in contact with the rock, his sword shattered and grazed his face, he seemed to be shocked, I now need to stop the second swordman.

The soldier like man rushed at me and made a slow vertical slash, this attack is called 'Steel Crusher', it is one of the most powerful attack from the Earth-Shaking style and is useless againsn't humans because of it's speed, but I am immobilized and have no other choice than to block it.

I somehow managed to gather mana in my hands and made another light shield, but the shock from before still have some effect on me, the shield look instable.

Shina : " Shield " I also used once again Ancient Language make another barrier in order to defend againsn't his strike.

However his strike easily cuted through all my defence and was going to cut my arm; but his claymore stopped, grabbed by an old man...Faust.

Faust : " May I know what is happening here? "

Roef : " We were just having a little spar sir. " He really want to make him believe that?

Faust : " A little spar with three teenager agansn't a 5 years old girl and with real weapon ? Before listening to what happened, Spirits of water, wash this place from fire, Water Tornado "

Faust summoned a water tornado who extinguished the fire in the garden.

Faust : " Now, how should I punish you for your deeds? "

Kerser : " Punish me for what? Trying to train a slave who belong to our empire ? " He really think I belong to him?!

Faust : " Demihumans don't belong to you or your country, and even this girl even less. " Right, right !

Kerser : " She already belong to me ! Now give her to me; she is mine. "

Faust : " I refuse, now leave and return to your room, I ll decide of your punishment later. "

Kerser : " Yo-You refuse?! You wish to go againsn't the empire of Theristid?! "

Faust : " Believe me young boy, there are things far more terrifying than your empire in this world... and the one supporting this kid here is the most terrible of them. " Is he talking about Velrox? I guess from his point of view he is indeed terrifying.

Kerser : " Fine, I ll let her alone. "

The three of them left, Faust came to me and placed his hand on my body.

Faust : " Wait a moment, I ll heal you, Spirits of light, remove the pain of these poor soul, Healing Light. "

All my bruise and cuts were healed and even my uniform was restored.

Shina : " Thanks, but how did you know we were here? " I asked him.

Faust : " You think nobody would notice the fire and the smoke within the garden? I rushed here as soon as I noticed that; you should get going now, I ll punish them properly later. "

Shina : " O-Okay, b-but... "

Faust : " Do you need something else ? "

Yes, and it is really important, and embarassing as well...

Shina : " I don't know the way to the cafeteria... "

Faust : " I... I see, follow me then. "

Faust guided me to the cafeteria, I walked to the table reserved for Holy Kiel's royalty; it is where we always eat.

They were all already here, waiting for me.

Estiel : " Shina, you are late ! Where did you go ?! " She shooted toward me, I instinctly covered my ears, Estiel is really scary when she is angry.

Fiona : " We looked for you all over the building before coming here, but we didn't find you, where were you ? "

Shina : " I was lost somewhere?... " I said in a weak voice; Fiona and Estiel both sighed at the same time.

Estiel : " I knew I shouldn't left you alone, I only need to take my eyes away from you for a moment and you end lost..." She said dropping her shoulder.

Veyna : " Let's eat... " She said as she patted my head.

Like at every meal, Veyna forced me to sit on her lap and patted me as we are eating, at first I was really againsn't it, but I grew accustomed to it after a few days.

As we finished eating, Veyna asked us.

Veyna : " School tournament... got a last member?... "

The school tournament is a team event where every student must participate, it is team fight in 4 againsn't 4, the captain of the winning team obtain the right to become the student president; the student president is above the teachers and only below the principal.

For now 8 years, the student president is Veyna; she won the tournament 8 time, but this year, Faust imposed a restriction on her, she have to participate alone to give a chance to the others.

Shina : " No, I don't think we ll be able to find one; I mean every others students are avoiding us. "

Estiel : " At the same time, on your first two day you easily beated the most powerful boy of our age who then had to return home, and injured his two henchmen two time; now there are many bad rumors about you being violent. "

Fiona : " Bu-But, she is not violent, she did it to protect me. "

Estiel : " I know, but she still overdid it."

Veyna : " Still got two month... you ll manage... "

After eating, I had to convince again, like everyday Veyna to stop hugging me so that I can go to archery's class with Fiona, the day ended like everydays; I didn't tell them about me being attacked by the prince... by the way, I still don't know their names.

I looked at the stary sky from my room, toward the two dragons constellation; my parents.

Shina : " Mommy, Daddy, I am alright, so come back soon... I want to meet you. "

On the same day :

In a certain forest, you can find the corpse of monster all around, they are all C ranked monster and a difficult prey for normal adventurer; but their numbers was huge, the corpses are covered with slash and their blood covered the forest.

In the center of the forest, a black haired and golden eyed man who look in his early thirty is standing staring at a mountain of corpse, on the top of those corpses you can see a little brown haired doggy demihuman completely covered in blood with a katana in her hand. She is sitting on the mountain and staring at the sky completely unfazed by the part of monster scattered all around.

Eniel : " I ll protect you... " She said while looking at the horizon

The man was looking at the girl with a difficult yet satisfied expression.

Valerox : " Did I make a monster?... "
