One month after Shina started attending to school

(???) POV :

I was seated in the last rank in the classroom when my two childhood friends came to talk to me, the first one is Frost Roef, the heir of the Duke of Norsan; he is a little obese like his father which show he is skipping on martial training class, he possess short brown hairs and you can see an arrogant and haugty look in his brown eyes, I know he think he is better than most other people and like to see peoples crawl in front of him. It's one of the reason why I like him.

The second one is Alred Keiss, he is the first son of a general; he always appear to be calm, however I know it is only in appearance; he only ignore peoples he don't find worthy of talking to him like lesser nobles and commoners. His tanned body is welltrained and look like a soldier's one, he began training in Earth-Shaking since he was 4.

Of course the two of them possess golden bracelet, their family are among the most powerful nobles in Theristid. As for me, my bracelet is a diamond one, I am the crowned prince of Theristid and the heir of the throne: Kerser Theristid. The three of us are 16 years old and know each other for a long time.

Roef : " Hey Kerser, did you hear the recent rumors?"

Kerser : " You mean about Veyna being forced to fight alone in the next school tournament? "

Roef : " Not that one, about that demihuman managing to get from a bronze bracelet to a gold one in only one day, moreover she is only 5 years old. "

Kerser : "Seem interesting, who is her master? "

Keiss : "I heard that rumor too, it seem that she is a demihuman commoner who managed to get into that school without the help of a master. "

Roef : " Haha, I see you coming, you want to take her as your slave ! "

Keiss : " Be careful through, it seem that she is really close to Veyna and Fiona. "

Kerser : " Let's just separete her from Veyna and and kidnap her, she may be B ranked, but she is still only a 5 years old kid; after that they dare to do anything, after all who will try to oppose the heir of the most powerful empire of the world? "

Roef : " Heh, sound fun. "

Keiss : " Indeed "

Kerser : " By the way, what is her name ? "

Roef : " I think it is Shina. "

After discusing about our plan, we bribed a few student to isolate Veyna and keep her busy, meanwhile we are waiting in a bush of the garden's between Shina's classroom and the cafeteria to embush her; but she is pretty late, we have been waiting for one hours and she still didn't appear... even through we saw Estiel and Fiona going there. Is she eating elsewhere? Or maybe she know we are waiting for her? No, she don't know us and we didn't tell our plan to anyone.

When we were about to give up, we heard a sound coming from behind us.

It was a little girl with long silky silver and black hairs, with a pair of black cat ears and a smooth looking tail; that demihuman was is a kid, but jugding from her look, I can tell that she grow up she will become an incredible beauty.

??? : " Waaah, I am I lost again? Where did Fiona and Estiel go?"

Roef : " It look like we've found her. "He said as he licked his lips.

So this girl is Shina? It's even better than I expected; it was worth waiting, now all what I have to do is to take her and send her to Theristid to mark her as my slave, after that, I ll take my time to train her properly.

Kerser : " Hey you, follow us. "

Shina : " Mhh, who are you ? "

Roef : " He is the crown prince of Theristid and your new master, be honored that he came here by himself just to take you as his slave. "

Shina : " I refuse " She instantly said.

Roef : " You bitch, who said you had a choice ? "

Shina : " Why should I be his slave?! "

Kerser : " It seem you don't understand your place; your race was made only to serve my country, you CAN'T refuse. "

Shina : " You... Are you sure you are alright in your head? " She asked with a worried face.

Kerser : " Yo-You ! If you don't want to follow me, then I ll just use force and train you properly later ! "

I took my claymore out and tried to cut her leg, it's not a problem if she is missing a limb; an expert healer can easily restore it.

She barely dodged my strike and took some distance, she is fighting againsn't two A rank swordman and a B rank mage.

As the heir of the empire of Theristid, I was trained by a SS rank swordman in Earth-Shaking style; I easily managed to get to A rank in the school classment with that swordstyle while Keiss was trained by his father as a soldier in the same style as me, and for Roef, he is a B ranked mage in Earth and Water magic.

We surrounded her to leave her no way of escaping, Keiss then rushed at her and made a slow horizontal strike which she easily dodge by jumping to her right; however at the same time, an ice spike was launched by Roef toward her left shoulder, she barely managed to deviate it and hurted her right hand.

We didn't give her time to rest, I made a fast diagonal slash which she again managed to dodge and made her arrive right in front of Keiss who slashed at her leg.

She somehow managed to block his sword by making what looked like a shield of light appear in her hand; this shield managed to block the sword but not the impact, her body was thrown againsn't a tree.

Roef : "Spirits of the earth, join your strenght with mine and crush everything on my road, Earth Ball " He send a simple earth ball with enought strenght to knock her out if it were to hit her.

Shina : " #@%& " She said something in what seemed like a different language and the rock collided againsn't mysterious shield and dropped to the ground.

Shina : " Spirits of fire, join your strenght together with mine and destroy my enemy, Fireball "

She sent a blue fireball to Roef who tried to block it with his water magic.

Roef : " Spirit of water, protect me from those flames, Water Shield. " His speciallity is not the strenght of his spells, but being able to quickly cast spells by shortening their incantation; however this way of casting magic consume a lot of mana.

A wall of water appeared 2 meters in front of Roef, but I saw the water starting evaporating while the fireball was still 5 meters away from the wall.

Kerser : " DODGE ! " I yelled to Roef who then threw himself to his left. The fireball didn't even touch the water wall, it simply evaporated before it even came, but Roef still managed to dodge it.

The fireball collided with a tree and a fire started to consume the garden. We were astonished by that her strange magic, she must possess a Mirage Ability related to magic, and an high ranked one.

When we snapped out of our surprise, Shina was running, trying to escape; but she was having troubles running straight, she must be feeling dizzy from Keiss strike.

Roef : " Spirits of the Earth, catch my enemy and immobilize him, Earth Shackles ! "

Shina's feet were then covered of mud which almost instantly solidified and restrained her movement; he didn't use that move earlier because he wanted to have fun playing with her, but now that he know how dangerous she is, he want to end it quickly.

Shina : "Spirits of the earth, join your strenght with mine and crush everything on my road, Earth Ball ! "

She threw made seemed like a ball of mud to me, she be using it only to gain some time. I slashed at that ball of mud and continued to run... or so I thought this is what would have happened. When I slashed her earth ball, I felt an immense pressure on my sword; what she send was not a ball of mud, I used all my strenght to try to cut it, but it simply passed through my sword shattering it in the process and grazed my face.

Keiss rushed to her, she couldn't move and didn't have enought time to cast another incantation, he threw a powerful slow vertical slash at her, her hand once again started glowing and made another shield of light.

Shina : " #@%& "

Once again, the shield she made to block Roef spell earlier appeared, but the strike Keiss made was one of the most powerful strike of Earth-Shaking's style, but it is really easily to dodge; however she was immobilized by the Earth Shackles.

The simply broke all her defense and was about to hit her shoulder; but the claymore stopped before reaching her. It was caught by someone's hand, that someone is Faust.

Faust : " May I know what is happening here? " Why now !

Roef : " We were just having a little spar sir. " That idiot...

Faust : " A little spar with three teenager agansn't a 5 years old girl and with real weapon ? Before listening to what happened, Spirits of water, wash this place from fire, Water Tornado "

A tornado a water growed in the garden and after a fews moments extinguished the flame which were burning the garden, but without damaging anything.

Faust : " Now, how should I punish you for your deeds? "

Kerser : " Punish me for what? Trying to train a slave who belong to our empire ? "

Faust : " Demihumans don't belong to you or your country, and even this girl even less. "

Kerser : " She already belong to me ! Now give her to me; she is mine. "

Faust : " I refuse, now leave and return to your room, I ll decide of your punishment later. "

Kerser : " Yo-You refuse?! You wish to go againsn't the empire of Theristid?! " That mere mage dare to go againsn't the most powerful empire in this world and the holy kingdom of the Goddess of Light?!

Faust : " Believe me young boy, there are things far more terrifying than your empire in this world... and the one supporting this child here is the most terrible of them. "

Kerser : " Fine, I ll let her alone. " I said in an annoyed tone, we aren't strong enough to fight him.

As we were walking toward our dormitory, Roef asked me

Roef : " Are you really going to let her get away like that? " He asked with a surprised tone.

Kerser : " Of course not, this girl is a genius at swordmanship, she possess a Mirage Ability which influence her magic, you saw how strong she is and she is only 5 years old ,she will also grow up to be a beauty; this slave is too precious to be left without a master, she is truly a slave worthy for a king. I just need to call for some backup from home and I ll kidnap her. "

Keiss : " As I though, you never give up. " He said with a little grin.
