After Eniel finally stopped crying, Veralox explained to her that I would go to school and that she will have to train with him before being able to join me; at first she was reluctant to let me go, but Veralox managed to persuade her, after that she went to sleep, it seem that she didn't sleep that much last night and had only a few hours of sleep before I woke her up.

Veralox want to teach me some magic before letting me attend school, it was metamorphose, he wanted to teach it to me right after I came into this world, but with the two dragon visit he didn't have enought time.

Veralox : "Using transformation magic isn't really hard, but it use a lot of mana and you have to stay concentrated while you are using it. First you have to channel your mana through the part you wish to change."

As he said that, I started to gather my mana into my horns and my tail.

Veralox : "Good, now imagine your horns shrinking and you tail disappearing."

As I made a mental image of what he said, my horns began to hurt and become smaller and my tail started to vanish.

Veralox : "Continue until they are completely gone."

A few moment after, my horn and tail were completely gone and I fell to the ground; I tried to stand up, but it was useless, I couldn't get on my feet.

Shina : "I can't get up!"

Veralox : "I forgot that you were born with that form, you would need a lot of time to adapt and would have to train to be able to use your martial arts without a tail... How about trying to transform into a demihuman?"

Shina : "Like Eniel?

Veralox : "Not necessarily; why don't you try to take the appareace of a cat girl?"

Shina : "Like in anime?"

Veralox : "I don't know what anime are, but you should try; try to make a tail from about the same size as your previous one."

I concentrate my mana a little above my butt and imagined a fluffy and smooth black tail, it slowly appeared where my previous tail was;it started growing, it felt a little lighter but this I still managed to get on my feet without any problem.

Veralox : "The ears are something sensible, I will help for them."

Veralox placed his hand on my head and started to gather his mana, I felt two little fluffy ears begin to grow up and finally stopping. I could hear things a lot before than with my previous ears, my head start to hurt.

Veralox : " Animal ears are better than human one's, you don't have to worry if your head hurt a little; it will get better with time. Now that you are ready, let's go inscribe you to your new school."

Shina : "Is it far?"

Veralox : "With normal means of transport, it would take a few weeks; but we ll be flying so it should take a few hours."

Veralox took his dragon form, I jumped on his back and gripped his scale; he began to fly in the sky, there weren't any pressure when I was on his back in the dimension rift, but here the wind pressure is quite strong.

Veralox : "Ah, my bad, I am not used to have guest on my back."

Suddenly, the pressure disappeared as a transparent sphere surrounded us.

Shina : "What can you tell me about that school?"

Veralox : "This school is the biggest school in this world and is located in this country: 'Holy Kiel'; it is free of all prejudice and everyone can join as long as they got the money or the capacity to do so, most of the one attending to this school are noble and royalty from every country and there are really a few commoner who gainned their right to enter because of their talents.

Each race can send up to 10 people to attend to this school without passing any exam. Well since it was founded, the dragon race never sent anyone there; so you and Eniel will be the first one."

Shina : "Do you really think I have my place among the noble?"

Veralox : "It should be the opposite; as the daughter of the two true gods, they should be the one who shouldn't have the right to join this school, so don't worry about that."

After our conversation, we didn't say anything on all the road.

A little hour later, I could see a big city from afar there is a GIANT castle at the center of the city, it take around 3/5 of the city if we count the garden as well, Veralox told me that it was my school; is a school really supposed to be sooo big? I feel like I will be unable to attempt to any lesson, i never had a good sense of direction and in a school this big I will surely be lost in less than 30s...

As we passed above the city, we were attacked by many fireballs, lightning and some catapult are throwing some boulder as well; however nothing passed through the shield of Veralox.

Veralox : "It look like those people forgot what the Dragon God look like... maybe I should help them to remember..." Verlox said grining, I could feel that the situation amused him.

He began to gather his mana in his body, it traveled to his mouth and shot a giant fireball from it. He of course didn't aim for my future school, but for the mountain 50 km away from it; or at least what was a mountain some second ago. Now all what remain is a gigantic crater, the shockwave it produced made every tree around the mountain fly away and some boulder even flew all the way to the wall of the city. Geez Verlox... you went too far you know...

After that, all attack stopped; they realized that it was an warning from what would happen if they continued.

Veralox then took a his human form and took me in his arm, but kept his dragon's wing, he couldn't land anywhere in the city with his true form so he had to land like that.

As we landed, the place was empty, except for one old man, he is human, he looked like a wise old man and came toward us; I could sense in him a powerful magic, he must be among the best wizard

in this world to emit such an aura.

Old man : "I am Faust, the director of this school; who might you be noble dragon?"

Veralox : "My name is Veralox human; you know I should destroy this city for what you have done right?" Reply Veralox at the director; he have a cold smile on his face, but I can tell that in truth he is having some fun teasing him.

Faust : "The Dragon God... Please forgive our offense old one; dragon usually doesn't have any interest in human city, we though it was a drake attacking us."

Veralox : "I don't care for your details, it doesn't change the fact that you human still attacked me!"

Faust started to turn pale at Verlox words, since the begin he didn't realise that I was there; guess it's time to help him.

Shina : "At the same time seeing a giant grey dragon flying toward an human city at full speed, who would just wait and do nothing at this danger..." I said with an ironic smile toward Verlox.

Shina : "And from the begin you knew this would happen, but you still wanted to have some fun with those human right?

At those words, Veralox started giggling.

Veralox : "Hahaha, you got me there princess; I ll forgive you Faust. I am here to inscribe this girl in your school."

Faust finally relaxed and finally noticed me in Veralox arms.

Faust : "I founded this school 700 years ago, and it is the first time the dragonkin come to enroll someone."

I jumped from Verlox arms and landed at his side.

Shina : "Actually, sister is going to join me in a few months so we are two. By the way, my name is Shinael, nice to meet you."

Faust : "I am Faust Sandspear, nice to meet you too Shinael."

Veralox : "I am leaving her in your care, but mark my words; if something happen to her until I come back, don't expect not only this city, but the whole human race to life another day." Veralox releashed enough killing attempt to bring Faust kneeling in front of him panting.

Faust : "Yes old one..."

Verlox then smiled toward him and turned to me

Veralox : "Now I am going to start training Eniel, I said two months before, but it may take a little longer. I will let you in his care until then. I am going now."

Shina : "Byebye, come visit me soon !" Verlox smiled at me and then jumped in the sky, he flew like an arrow through the sky and after a few second disappeared from our sight.

Faust left a sigh of relief escape from him mouth as the danger flew away.

Shina : "Then Faust, will you make me visit the school?" I asked him excited.

Faust : "Of course, please follow me"

As we walked he began to explain me the rules of the school. Every student could choose their lesson, but they had some lesson they were obliged to attempt: martial arts training, magic training, mathematics, geography and history.

There were also many facultatif lesson and as a special student sent by a race, I would life in a special dorm reserved for us; their quality are a little bellow the royalty's one.

He showed me the different places around the school like the infirmery, the class, the cafeteria and the dormitory and of course my room.

Faust : "Now, we have to go to my office, I should have some identity bracelet there."

Shina : "What is an identity bracelet?"

Faust : "It is a tool we give to every student so that they can proof that they are from our school, they are classed in 4 rank: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond.

Commoner start with a Bronze one, Silver is lower and middle class noble, Gold for high class noble and people send by a country, and Diamond for royalty. Your start in those rank depend from your social standing; but you may evolve in the ranking based on your ability.

I wish I could give you the Diamond rank, after all it is the first time dragon's send someone to this school, but I have to follow the rules so you will get a Gold bracelet.

Shina : "Well, I would prefer to start with a Bronze one, it would be funnier to start from the bottom and climb to the top."

I don't want a special treatment like other nobles, I want to try to climb to the top by my own. It's really not because I want to see the face the other nobles will do it ... okay it's one of the main reason...

Faust : "By the way, can you tell me what a demihuman is doing with the Dragon God and why he allowed you to speak like that to him" Asked me Faust with a puzzled face. I know he wanted to ask this question since the start.

Shina : "He is somewhat my caretaker, he isn't a bad guy you know; he just wanted to have some fun with you; but if you indeed responded wrongly to him, I don't think he would have hesitated to kill you."

Faust : 'Isn't a bad guy? There is a legend about him destroyed a whole country because a ruffian bumped into him or even destroying a whole city because one time he tried to eat some human food and found it cold... It look like she doesn't know a lot about the world.' is what he though at her words

We finally arrived to his office, it is a large room with a desk at the center; the walls are full of item, there are many staff, swords, rings, and many other items, all those item are emitting mana.

Faust took a box from his desk and gave it to me. Inside the desk, there's a bronze bracelet.

Faust : "You have to put the bracelet on your wrist and charge it with mana, if you don't know how to use mana I can help you."

Shina : "No, it's fine, I know how to use mana."

I charged the bracelet with mana, the bracelet is shining and is shrinking on my wrist; when the bracelet finished shrinking, it stopped to shine.

Faust : "Look like it's done; now try to once more concentrate mana into the bracelet.

As I did that, a strange window appeared in front of me.

Faust : "You don't have to be surprised, only a few teacher can change your ranking; you can take a ranking exam any time when you feel ready, by the way I am the one doing all the magic exam. Also it is impossible to cheat or modify the bracelet information, only the teacher I trust the most and myself know the magic to modify the ranking, so bribing won't work."

Shina : "It's not like I will need to cheat you know..."

Faust : "Haha, I have great hope for you Shina, for now you can go rest to your room, I will take care of the paper work so you should be able to attend class tomorrow."

I left Faust in his office and went back to my the room he showed me earlier and got into my bed; it was only evening, but I was excited to finally be able to go to school. On those though, I fell asleep.
