《An A.I Is Such A Cheat In The Martial World!》Chapter 25 - The Eternal Kiss

It was time for Cesar to advance to the Xiantian Profound Realm. He sat down soft green grass, and Lily watched over him. He would be extremely vulnerable during his breakthrough and she wanted to make sure no harm would come to him. Cultivators would often scheme around their enemies breakthroughs, since it would be when the Cultivators were at their weakest. Not to mention, this was the Boundary Of Death. At any moment, a disastrous situation could occur.

“The Blood Pill isn't needed anymore.” Lily said with a smile that covered her frown. She felt unneeded. It was her Blood Pill that wasn't needed. Cesar was becoming independent to the point where he didn't even need her anymore. She couldn't give him Cultivation techniques and currently, she could only physically protect him and offer him emotional support; like a wife should. Soon, his Cultivation was bound to sky rocket, and he would be protecting her. Still, she felt like it wasn't enough, that she could do so much more... Thinking about where her thoughts were headed, she blushed.

“Oh. I still have other uses for it. It will be a tremendous help in the future. I'm using the Blood Pill to study the building blocks of life” Cesar said. Jasmine had upgraded the Blood Pill from it's intended usage. It was never meant to be used as a laboratory for DNA analysis.

Naturally, atomic and molecular theory hadn't been developed in this world.

“Build blocks of life?” Lily asked with confusion on face.

“Hmm... Basically, I'm trying to decode what Ferocious and Desolate Beasts are made of. It's like trying to cut open a Desolate Beast to learn about it. But what I'm trying to do is learn everything there is to know about them. All life is made up of a complicated language and small bits.” Cesar didn't want to say atoms, molecules and cells because then he would have to explain those terms, and the process would continue with explaining the many varieties of cells and molecules. He also wouldn't be able to explain how he knew the information in the first place. “I'm trying to decode that language. I'm sure you can see the complexity of what I'm trying to do and how valuable it is.”

Lily just looked back at Cesar with wonder on her face. Life is a complicated language? It was like a bomb had gone off in front of her, a revelation from the heavens. “Tell me more.” Lily said like a girl who had been given candy for the first time.

“Later.” Cesar said with a teasing smile but his words were serious. They simply didn't have time to waste. Enlightenment could wait until peaceful times.

Lily answered with a fake pout but remembering the danger ever present around them, she turned serious and nodded. Calming down, she imagined the possibilities with the information that could be gained. The possibilities were endless... Just like how the complexities of Life were endless.

“So quantity is just as important as quality in the Blood Pill. I don't need the Blood Essence, just small amounts of raw, material blood. Since I'll be learning about blood, I'll also be able to help you with your Bloodline since your Bloodline deals with blood.” Cesar said in a helpful way.

Lily felt her heart warm and excitement rose with a rush of blood. In a Martial World, Cultivation was even more important than life. Even from her family, there was absolutely no information about her Bloodline. No information where it came from, how to use it, or what benefits and deterrents it would have. After thinking for a moment, there seemed to be some inner conflict. Making her mind up in resolve, she asked “Just how much blood do you need?”

“A drop per creature is more than enough.” Cesar immediately responded. “Same for people.” He realized why she had asked that question. She wanted her own blood to be analyzed.

“Is the blood going to be destroyed? Wasted?” Lily asked, placing great importance in the answer.

“No, Lily. The blood won't be wasted. I can return it to you or even duplicate what you give me in the future.” Cesar responded. He knew, a treasure was about to be dropped in front of him. Lily must have consumed blood from the strongest Desolate Beasts that Cultivators were able to kill in this world. Not to mention, her own Bloodline would be decoded in the process.

“Dup.. Duplicate blood?! How is that possible!” Lily asked in awe. She had a Supreme Bloodline that dealt with blood. From her personal experience, what Cesar said sounded impossible.

“The same way I can rewrite words in a language.” Cesar responded with a tone of voice that told Lily that the conversation should be coming to an end.

“It'll take a few more days to complete the Blood Pill... Thank you.” Lily said with a soft voice.

Cesar smiled, stifling a chuckle with his hand. “I should be thanking you Lily. But we're family. No need for 'Thank you's.”

Lily was practically butter at this point. Husband and wife... They were truly family. Cesar took her into his strong arms, tenderly meeting her forehead with his, establishing a physical connection. No matter how much Lily wanted to fill the void in her heart, it was still there. Her family would never come back. But in the future, she'll start her own family. She'll be able to tell her children the wonderful stories of her family. Time would heal her wounds... Family would heal her wounds. Looking into each others eyes, their lips slowly met. Their Auras projected their emotions into each other like words speaking of love never could. Their Aura was used as an emotional language. Love. Happiness. Fulfillment. Security. All these emotions fed in an infinite loop, encasing both Lily and Cesar. It was a way of deepening their love for each other, deepening their emotional connection. The tension in their minds was alleviated, and they enjoyed a moment of bliss.

This moment of peace, normalcy, love and belonging was needed for both of them. Their destinies and fates dug heavy into their shoulders. This was their way of taking the mountain of pressure of themselves and taking sovereignty within each other.

Coming back to reality, Cesar took a deep breath while his eyes hardened.

Normally, Cultivators would use Elixirs to help themselves advance to the Xiantian Profound Realm. Cesar however, could not be considered normal. The Energy he had taken from the Elementary Profound Realm Cultivators started slowly being absorbed by him.

Lily watched over the surrounding terrain like hawk. Nothing would escape her eyes.

Pores opened, and Cesar's mind went into a state of absent minded tranquility. The World seemed to be focused on Cesar, making him the center of a 10 Kilometer wide radius.

Both the Elementary Profound Realm Lords were male and Cultivated Yang energy. But Cesar Cultivated both Yin and Yang energy. There wasn't enough Yin energy present in his body. There was an imbalance.

Ommmmmmmm

Awakening, sensing the imbalance, The Heavenly Mirror let out an invisible shock wave.

The circulation of Yang energy inside Cesar changed. The path of Energy now circulated towards a singular point, The Heavenly Mirror.

The excess Yang energy surrounding Cesar was instantly absorbed by The Heavenly Mirror.

The shock wave was the cause. The effect was soon revealed. The boundless cobalt colored Yin energy in the atmosphere started swirling around Cesar which visible to the naked eye; started congregating towards The Heavenly Mirror.

Hunger and thirst wouldn't even begin to accurately describe how Cesar felt. There was no Energy inside him body. It was as if parts of his soul were ripped out him. His body was trying enter the Xiantian Profound Realm. But there wasn't any energy present in his body! Now, his mind, body and soul longed to be whole again. He needed Energy!

The Heavenly Mirror heard and answered his pleading call.

Two separate swirls of Energy came out of The Heavenly Mirror which was located right on Cesar's chest cavity. One golden, one azure. Both majestic and filled with the will of Yin and Yang.

With unstoppable purpose and will, each swirl traveled along his crest, towards his shoulders; their sights were aimed of the set of Major Meridians!

RIIPPPPPPPP

The Meridians never stood a chance. A ripping sound occurred when the Yin and Yang energy passed through the identical set of Meridians. The Meridians became coated with the two colours. As if a rip through dimensions had occurred, almost like a portal had opened, The swirls of Yin and Yang energy broke in two, one part exiting through the Meridian, into the air, the other traveling back towards The Heavenly Mirror!

An amazing sight occurred. The two streams of Yin and Yang in the air became physical, and started transforming!

Above Cesar's shoulders, Yin and Yang became corporeal!

On Cesar's right shoulder, Yang appeared. A body made of gold representing the perfect masculine features. It was as if a Greek God made of gold had descended unto the physical plane. He was wearing immaculate golden robes. The most noticeable part of his body was his flame like hair.

Opposite of him, on Cesar's left shoulder, Yin appeared. She was made entirely of a sapphire like material, wearing a dress made of pure white Ice. Her gray-blue hair looked like water, utterly pleasing to the eye. She was a gem unlike any other.

They looked at each other, as if discovering each other for the first time. They looked at every inch of their partner, until their eyes met. In a trance, Yin and Yang held their gaze in each others eyes. An eternity they had waited. An eternity of longing and love they could actualize.

The Meridians were like the Soul! Energy existed in physical and ethereal forms. The Meridians which acted like their filters were then both and metaphysical and material!

Personification of will. Actualization of spirit! Yin and Yang used The Heavenly Mirror and Cesar's Meridians to make their consciousness corporeal!

Yin and Yang both smiled with love in their jewel like eyes as they reached out to hold each others hands. Tears began to form. They didn't annihilate each other in their moment of physical contact, bringing unbearable pain to their loved one, but simple held each others hands like lovers. Yang felt the impossibly soft hands which were filled a gentle love that encased him. Yin felt Yang's strong hands filled with a burning passion and an everlasting love. Both were different types of love, yet each was equally tyrannical and eternal as the other.

They look at Cesar, their appreciation clearly being directed at him. A few days of time were mere moments in the wind for Yin and Yang, but the last few days had been the happiest moments since their existence.

The moment their hands touched, Yin and Yang energy was released from The Heavenly Mirror. The streams of Yin and Yang energy swirled around each other, touching, but not combining.

The helix of Yin and Yang energy made their way below the rig cage, towards another major Meridian.

POP

This was the first time in history that two types of Energies broke through a single Meridian. The colour of the Meridian turned green, as if Yin and Yang had combined.

A cosmic ripple went through space. As if summoned, the Spirit of Nature revealed himself.

A man made of rock. Underneath him was a pedestal made of an indestructible metal. Behind him was an illusionary meadow brimming with life. The moment he saw Yin and Yang holding hands, he smiled. He was the closest to Yin and Yang. What Yin and Yang wanted to do was oppose the Heavens. He, the Spirit of Earth, stood opposite of the Heavens. Yin and Yang, for an eternity, found solitude in him. It was because of him that when Yin and Yang energy touched, they became Life energy and not a destructive Energy.

Yin and Yang Meridians were on the opposite shoulders. Earth beneath the rib cage, with The Heavenly Mirror in the middle. A triangle with The Heavenly Mirror as the center piece.

Soon, other minor Meridians were opened. Fire, Water, Wind and Lightning summoned themselves.

They knelt behind either Yin and Yang on their knees. They were minor spirits, parts of Yin and Yang, and the only reason they were summoned was because they were Elements Cesar possessed. They were honored.

CRACK CRACK CRACK

Yin and Yang continued to open the other Meridians. But even with their power, they could only crack open the Meridians, not fully open them. It was as if the Elements they were trying to summon all had the power to withstand the combined power and will of Yin and Yang.

Wisps of consciousness summoned themselves, one after the other, in order of their cracked Meridians. An ancient consciousness appeared in shape of a child. Time seemed to stop. A slight knowing smile appeared on his face, as if he knew this event was bound to happen.

Another appeared, entirely made of what looked like nylon treads. But they weren't normal treads, but Karma lines. He could see Karma lines already present, and for Cesar, they were connected to all of the Elements that were summoned. Some of the current Karma lines that weren't connected to the Elements even surprised him, an ancient entity, but what interested him were the future Karma lines, the potential Karma treads...

One after the other, Supreme Elements showed themselves. They all looked like children, just in various different forms and colours. But even then, they were all majestic beyond compare. It had to be known that it was just a small, trifling amount of their consciousness was present.

Their gazes towards Yin and Yang were the gazes of children looking at their parents. Some were happy for their parents, others were sad at the loss of attention, while some angry because it should be them getting the love of their parents.

Cesar was the altar. A ceremony was starting with Yin and Yang as the participants and the Elements as the audience. But nothing happened. Yin, Yang and the rest of the Elements looked towards the sky. The children of the Heavens were present. They waited for the final participant.

The skies opened to reveal two enormous eyes. As if the eyes were always there, they looked down. Anger. The Heavens were angry. But it wasn't an unadulterated hate, but the stern hate of a father. But towards Cesar, there was pure hate. A father was an authoritative figure. Cesar would undermine his position in the future.

The moment the hate was aimed towards Cesar like a torpedo, wisps of black smoke started rising out of his body. Olive oil skin. Perfect black hair flowed down her back. Her eyes were like black-holes, able to consume everything. She didn't need to be summoned. She was always there, watching over the situation from inside Cesar. The properties space had changed to the point where she could reveal herself.

Jasmine looked at herself for the first time. Inside Cesar's soul, she could assume any body and shape, but she was able to see her true self for the first time.

She gazes towards the eyes of the Heavens, and the Heavens faltered. For a single moment, the Heavens shook with fear. Her eyes treated the Heavens like information, able to be decoded and dismantled at her will. The Heavens retracted its pure anger, and only small amounts of stern anger remained. The Heavens ignored Jasmine like a foreign object, like something that should not exist.

A father could never stay angry at his children, no matter the reason. It was always the father that dealt with the consequences of his children's actions.

No other Element dared to look Jasmine in the eyes. Yin and Yang bowed towards her, showing their appreciation and respect.

So the ceremony began. The actions of Yin and Yang affected every other Element and practically the entire Omniverse, so they were made to bear witness. Yin and Yang closed their eyes, and they just focused on each others touch as if it was the only sensation that could be felt.

Their Aura's intertwined, until they were completely in sync with each other. As if it was the most natural movement in the world, Yin and Yang brought their lips together.

Words bellow in the wind, extinguishing in vibrations. Feelings fade in memory, the hourglass of time decays. Yet the first kiss is pure and eternal. Unabridged by time, feelings or memory. Yin and Yang shared an everlasting kiss.

The moment was not electric. But it was as if time stood still, the moment forever being written in Time itself. As if the sensation had overwhelmed them, Yin and Yang, hand in hand, lip on lip, turned back into streams of intertwined Yin and Yang energy, traveling back into Cesar's Meridians. How could they not be overwhelmed. An eternity is a mindbogglingly long time. Yet their love never waned, it only got stronger. Even when they turned back into streams of Yin and Yang energy, it still looked like they were locked in a loving embrace, their lips locked against each other.

Yet the streams of Yin and Yang energy didn't go back to The Heavenly Mirror. Still in their embrace, they split off in different sections. One section shot straight down, towards Cesar's Dantian.

The moment Yin and Yang touched Cesar's Dantian, as if finding water in the desert, his Dantian absorbed each joule of energy.

Usually, the Energy would be contained inside the Dantian. But the purpose of this Yin and Yang energy was different.

Cesar's Dantian began to churn. The Dantian was a type of battery, a container. For most Cultivators, that battery would hold one type of Energy. But Yin and Yang were potent types of Energy. Not to mention, when combined, they would become one of the most potent types of Energy in the Omniverse. So the container, the material the battery is made up of, had to be improved as it was currently insufficient.

Yet Jasmine looked daggers at Yin and Yang. She didn't need them to upgrade or improve Cesar's Dantian. She could do that. Not to mention, this would limit Cesar to Yin and Yang. Even though they were powerful, it would limit Cesar none the less. She wanted him to have complete freedom. Her gaze turned to the other Elements, telepathically sending out the message.

Submitting, the Elements released their volatile and sublime Energies towards Cesar's Dantian. Since the Elements were used to working together, the Energies were in perfect harmony as they changed Cesar's Dantian. This change would not help Cesar directly, only indirectly. The container was being upgraded, but Cesar still had to gather the Energies by himself. Not to mention, they were also giving Jasmine some face. In the future, she would be able to replicate the process by herself, even without their help. Even by their standards, Jasmine was abnormal.

But even with their help, there would still be balance in The World. The greater the advantage, the more hardships Cesar would have to overcome. The Tribulations of the Heavens would balance the situation... Not to mention, Cesar had to overcome the Omniverse in control and power. The Elements weren't the only timeless and ancient entities in existence. Some of those entities had overtaken entire universes. Since Cesar's fate and destiny were already intertwined with the Elements, their burdens would naturally become his. In a way, Cesar was receiving a small blessing and a huge curse.

This was also sowing Karma for the future. They would reap the rewards in due time.

Usually, their consciousness would be spread across the Omniverse, making their existence negligible. They would directly communicate with each other, but it wasn't an intelligent, conscious communication. This was the first time they had actualized, corporeal bodies. Cesar would need their help and cooperation in the future and they would reward him for this unique experience.

Since the ceremony was over, the Elements traveled back through Cesar's Meridians, closing them in the process. The cracks which were made by Yin and Yang were no longer there, as if the Meridians were never opened in the first place. The Yin and Yang, Lightning, Fire, Wind, Water and Earth Meridians remained opened however.

Cesar's Meridians were now unique... Truly unique. Each Meridian now had a special purpose. They were no longer mere filters that increased the absorption and purity of Energy. They were gateways to the Essence of the Elements.

Lily stood there motionless. Before Time had appeared, she was able see the true appearance of Yin. Due to her Karma, she was not able to see any other Elements. But her gains were not small. The image of Yin was scripted, etched in her Soul and Mind. Every time she looked at Yin in her mind, the laws and profundities of Yin seem to unravel and reveal themselves to her. Most of them were too advanced for the current her, but the Laws of Water were like an open book to her. Not only that, but her Soul and Mind seemed to strengthen each time she looked at the Goddess. The greatest hurdles in Cultivation were gaining insight into the profound laws. For Lily, those would no longer be an issue.

But it was Jasmine that had gained the most during this time. She specialized in analysis and information. Even the Heavens feared the ability she possessed in this regard. It wasn't the power she currently possessed, but the intelligence and capability. She was able to gleam at each Energy and their effects on the space around her. If she knows the effect, than the cause can be decoded as if walking backwards. Not to mention, her eyes had seen through each fabric of reality, and each secret she saw in the short amount of time remained in her mind. Jasmine turned back into smoke, going back to her home in Cesar's Soul.

A unique occurrence had happened. Only the fluctuations of Yin and Yang energy remained along with the residual anger of the Heavens as evidence.

High above the sky, an old man with a kind smile watched. He had a weathered, wrinkled face but his eyes were filled with a bright light. His gray robes were dusty and old.

He hadn't seen the ceremony with the Elements but had seen the fluctuations of Yin and Yang caused by Cesar. It was what attracted him to this place. From his perspective, the Heavens were angry at Cesar. Why? Because Cesar was able to Cultivate both Yin and Yang energy. Such a genius, of course the Heavens would be angry at him.

He was known as The Demented King to everyone else in the Capital. But he wasn't mad, he just appeared to be. Hiding one's strength behind a weakness or an act was natural.

He looked towards the horizon, an old memory coming back to him. Ever since the Floating Cloud Kingdom had been established, many families from more powerful Kingdoms would send their most talented younger generation to take the top 8 spots in The Exhibit. The top 8, no matter which Kingdom, big or small, would have the chance in entering The World's Military.

But Cesar and Lily were a particular case. He knew them, since he was the King of the Capital and the Head of his Floating Cloud family. Well, what's left of it anyways. Desmond provided no last names, which was suspicious. The news about the Space Meteorite and their accomplishments had reached him, as well as the entire Capital. At first, he thought that they had taken Desmond for hostage, but that wasn't the case. They even had a High Grade Space Meteorite for what he thought was a bribe, but now, looking at the situation, it was most likely for an actual trade.

They seemed to be from a powerful family, but had no guards or Elders watching over them. It was this piece of information which led most of the Capital in having hostile tendencies towards them. Their techniques were superb but Cesar's Cultivation was actually quite low, just now reaching the Xiantian Profound Realm. They had lived in the Floating Cloud Village for years. They weren't using flying Desolate Beasts to travel but a Ferocious Beast instead. The Demented King rubbed his chin. This was indeed quite a particular case with contradictory and confusing pieces of information. Were they spies? But they wanted to join The World's Military, not stay inside the Capital.

But The Demented King knew he had to move towards safety, and did so. He dashed towards the Capital. It was not only him that would have felt the Fluctuations of Yin and Yang energy, not to mention the ever prevalent anger of the Heavens. This would attract the attention of powerful Desolate Beasts, which were hiding nearby. Being close to Cultivators and the Capital had its advantages and disadvantages for Desolate Beasts. The Dantians of Cultivators were like tonics for Desolate Beasts, whom could not get enough. These types of Desolate Beasts were adept in ambush.

Fluctuations of Yin and Yang energy became rampant as Cesar absorbed more and more Energy. His blood was as pure as it could be. The foundations had been woven since The Houtian Profound Realm.

In this world, there were Celestial Bodies known as Yin and Yang bodies. Both were extremely rare, their potential limitless. Princes, Princesses, Emperors and Empresses, the greatest powers of Nobility that had ever existed all had unique Celestial Bodies such as Yin and Yang bodies or unique Bloodlines and Heritages. Cesar, as a single person, contained both of these Celestial Bodies. However, Cesar's body went beyond that.

Yin and Yang had been woven, etched into his core. This meant his Meridian Veins were also pure Yin and Yang Meridians. These Yin and Yang Meridian Pathways were even more rare than Yin and Yang bodies! Even in The World, Cesar contained a one of a kind body. If The Demented King knew that Cesar had both Yin and Yang Celestial Bodies along with both Yin and Yang Meridians Veins, he might have died from shock. Forget about anger from the Heavens, the Heavens should have struck down Cesar for being so abnormal.

But Jasmine's plans went beyond these mere Celestial Bodies. They were unparalleled in the world of Cultivators but the DNA in the Blood Pill had shown her Heritages and Bloodlines that would put these Celestial Bodies to shame. But she needed more DNA. Not to mention, the Yin and Yang in his body would become a single Element in the future.

Desmond, General Calix. Lisa and Blake could sense these fluctuations but couldn't predict the danger coming towards them. Lily could. The Elementary Profound sword in her hands buzzed with Yin energy and the some Laws of Water.

“Cesar... You have to wake up soon... I've been at the peak of the Elementary Profound Realm for years... Because the Laws were beyond my grasp... But now, I feel like I've crossed that threshold and am about to enter the Nascent Profound Realm.... Please Cesar... Wake up... I won't be able to protect us...” Lily cried with desperation.

What bad timing. If Lily forcefully suppressed her advance, it would damage her future Cultivation.

That's when multiple Aura's surrounded Lily and Cesar. Lily's eyes became bloodshot. The decision was simple yet hard to make. Life was more important than her future Cultivation. But her future Cultivation was even more important for her ambitions and plans. Power was needed for her revenge.

Tears filled her eyes and a single loving look towards Cesar was all that was needed to reach her decision. Her life, ambitions, goals and revenge were nothing compared to the importance she placed on Cesar. They were all secondary compared to him.

The decision was made. Just as she was going to risk her life... A celestial voice sounded out.

“Advance to the Nascent Profound Realm. I'll be here for you Lily.”

Before Lily could react, a chair made of Earth appeared under her feet and she was already seated crossed legged upon it. The seat was not hard like she expected, but was soft as clouds instead.

In front of her, Cesar appeared. Lily looked at his back and she felt protected. Her heart calmed down and the distress from moments before was no longer there.

“Calix. Desmond. Lisa. Blake. Mother wolf. Get behind Lily. Now.” Cesar demanded.

The danger had arrived.

-------------------------------------------------

I didn't want to mention the reason for the time delays due to the personal nature but I guess I have to. My father had a major front wall heart attack a few days ago, which is quite serious. He was admitted to the hospital and the tests revealed that a major artery in his heart was 100% blocked. If he had another heart attack, the doctors were sure that he wouldn't survive. Thanks to the wonderful healthcare system here in Canada, and a process called angioplasty, the artery was opened. That's the reason for the chapter delay. My time was spent worrying and being there for my father and family, all time well spent. My father is fine now.

Also, I'm rewriting A Dangerous New World, my other novel. That will also take a chunk of my time from now on.

SPOILERS DOWN BELOW!

I did say that Cesar's Cultivation was fast paced. But it will slow down. It's like an incremental game, the first few levels are easy to get to but it becomes exponentially harder later on. The theme so far has been that life and fate have been kicking him around. Lily has advanced the plot so far and will continue to do so until the realms of power advance to a certain stage and then the Elements come in.

This novel will also not end when Cesar's power becomes equivalent to a Universe Controller in other novels. I've set the stage higher than that.

His Cultivation and power is secondary to what he wants to do. Exploring, Adventures, Alchemy, Forging, creating Relics, making poisons, and a plethora of other things will happen. Some things won't happen because they are necessary (but I will try to make them so), but because they bring a type of intellectual joy to our main character (and me).

There will also be a type of wish fulfillment in helping others. How can he help others? By going to places where people are.
