The Mysterious Woman.
RegenRock Prefecture, Jehu empire, Underworld.
"Did you find that bitch yet?" A man roared loudly in an angry voice as he looked over at a hundred Immortal practitioners.
"No, Sir. We didn't." A man dressed in black answered in a calm voice. He was bowing as all the other immortals but he had a dominating aura around him suggesting his position as their leader.
"The Imperial corps of the Royal army, those bunch of balls sucking bastards are out there searching and yet, you aren't able to find a single bitch hiding right under our noses. Fucking morons, get your asses out and search for her, now." The man roared with an angry voice.
The black robed bowed deeply and said, "Yes, Lord Hide."
Snorting loudly the man named lord Hide began to walk towards the inner chambers of the marquisate. Situated at the centre of the RegenRock city, the marquisate was a highly guarded place. Devas patrolled the surroundings of the marquisate all around the clock but above all, three eyed giants who stood guard at every corner were the pillars of the marquisate security.
Hide walked silently with a calm face. He was the head of the RegenRock army so he had a reputation to maintain in front of his subordinates but inside his mind, he was dreading his life.
Three months ago, the Marquis suddenly ordered him to locate a woman with blue hair, who is supported to have a five year old son. The orders were bit confusing and questioning at first but he did what he had to do and after thorough searching found the exact woman from a slave trader and brought her without letting it known to another eye.
However, as she was being transported. People of unknown origin attacked the carriage and captured her. The Marquis was furious to the point of putting an end to the life of everyone involved.
Hide never understood why his master was so hell bent on finding this woman who was just a daughter of a tribal clan chief and hadn't even broken into deva realm but he knew that the longer he delayed his mission, the closer he drew to his death.
Deep inside the Marquisate, a man leaned on a luxurious couch surrounded by women as he enjoyed the heat of a solar jewel. The entire room, though in the depths of the marquisate was being lit up by the solar jewel which encompasses the energy of the sun.
As Hide approached the Marquis, the surrounding women immediately dropped their duties and backed away. The Marquis who was lying with his eyes closed slowly opened them and glanced at Hide. Seeing his face, his eyes twitched lightly but underneath the depths of his dark brown eyes was also bitter humour, the origin of which none knew about.
Hide simply stood before the Marquis without saying a word. The Marquis of RegenRock was just a small title in the imperial rule of the Juha empire. The prefecture Marquis controlled wasn't even enough for him rival a single city controlled by a Duke. The difference between the various levels of nobility were too many to count. However, Hide knew one thing for certain. His master, though a small fish in the sea of great power struggle was Intelligent enough to survive and eventually he will grow enough to rival his predators.

The Marquis sipped his wine as he sighed lightly. With a cold snort he said, "My patience is limited Hide. Find me the woman else believe me, I will not spare you even if you had served me a million more years."
Hide slowly bowed and replied, "Your servant is already doing his best sir. I know that I am exceeding my station but sir, I really have to know the reason why you are so hell bent on capturing that woman."
The Marquis raised his eyes and said in a low voice, "Very well. That woman is a remnant of the Jehu Bloodline which once ruled this empire. Hide, I have put great trust in you by telling you this. Now, go find me this woman."
Hide face contracted violently as he heard the words of the Marquis. He knew what they meant. The long forgotten clan which was powerful enough to establish an empire in the ancient times had a remnant. The Jehu empire was now ruled by the give great clans. The laws of the empire prevent any outsiders from seizing the throne.
However, the clan has been exterminated in the chaos of ancient times and since countless millennia, the five great clans have been ruling the empire in the emperor's place. However, it doesn't change the fact that a heir is still absent and the empire has an empty throne. The five great clans are at a standstill with each other, they won't let other empires invade their territory nor would they let the other clans seize the throne.
The emergence of a heir will now throw the entire empire and the five great clans in Jeopardy and Hide now understood why his master and the others were so hell bent on catching the woman. She wasn't a simple slave, she was the container of a key which can make any man gain immeasurable wealth and power.
As Hide stood there still for a second. The Marquis rose from his seat and walked towards his personal chambers. The maids followed behind him until he reached the entrance of his private chambers.
As Hide passed the curtain separating his chambers from the inner chambers, his face suddenly began to change as the temperature within the place was dropping with each of his step.
By the time he reached his bedroom, the walls were covered in a thin layer of ice. With a shaking hand, the Marquis opened the door and entered the room with trembling eyes.
Covered in pure ice, the room was like an image out of an artist's imagination. Sitting in the centre of the room on a chair formed of pure ice was a woman of absolute beauty. She had an immaculate body, her skin, pearl white, her eyes, a shade of sky blue and her flowing silky hair, a shade of royal blue colour.
The Marquis immediately fell upon his knees as he saw her. The beauty slowly looked at the Marquis and said, "Are you sure I need you?"
The Marquis's face changed as he heard her. He wanted to say anything but the surrounding coldness dried up his throat. He gulped loudly and said, "My lady, I have done everything you have asked me to do discretely and with perfect precision. I really think I should be by your side helping you. These are all minuscule works which doesn't require your attention......"

The woman slowly rose from her seat and said, "Have you ever lusted upon me?"
The Marquis's face changed as he heard her. He couldn't open his mouth for a while but he soon shook his head and said, "How can this servant have such vulgar thoughts about you, My lady."
The woman narrowed his eyes and said, "So, are you telling me that I am not beautiful enough?"
The Marquis face froze. He couldn't understand where the woman was leading him to. As he stood there with a fear ridden face, a voice calmly interrupted the lady and said, "Stop it June. You kid, come here."
The Marquis rose sharply and ran across the room and fell on his knees again as he looked at a small five year old kid.
June looked at the kid with a black hair, black eyes and said, "Done with your work already Dragon."
Dragon lifted his head and said, "I have spread enough seeds in the imperial capital. His majesty should be done sowing them in the Ingram city. Now all we need is a catalyst."
June licked her beautiful lips gently and said, "When is his majesty coming back? I haven't seen him in three months."
Dragon slowly rose from his seat and walked towards the Marquis. He then raised his head to look at the towering man and said, "Don't ask me useless questions June and don't try anything foolish to anger lady Vera. We both know the consequence of angering her."
"Shut up dragon and get rid of this Marquis. I don't like him." June muttered in a angry voice.
The Marquis shuddered as he heard June. However, just as he was about to shout, his heart began to beat with an irregular rhythm as Dragon lifted his hand and placed it on the Marquis's face.
Signs of despair leaked in from the Marquis's eyes as he looked at the Dragon. His pair of black eyes were still glittering with intelligence and wisdom but behind him was an image of a nine eyed ghost.
Hair long enough to touch the ground, eyes pitch black, with two pair of hands twisted at elbows in weird directions and above all the smell of dead emanating from him made him look like a death reaper.
The Marquis wanted to scream for help, out of fear and to retain some of his mind but he simply wasn't able to gain control of any of his body organs. He lost control of all his body except his mind as Dragon touched his face.
Dragon slowly lifted his hand and said in a ghastly voice, "Keep your mouth shut Marquis. I think you still haven't outlived your usage. Don't make me think otherwise.
I am feeling a little suffocated in this kid's body. I am sure your will be better container. I hope you don't need an explanation about who I am now, do you?"
The Marquis simply stood there with a blank face but his heart was beating as if it could explode that second and his mind was spinning as he thought the name of a legendary God beast which can make the entire Yaksha realm cautious of him. The God beast - Soul Reaver.
Born from the discarnate souls, the soul reavers had no physical body and thus are immune to physical attacks of any magnitude.
As June and Dragon stood before the Marquis. East of the Ingram city, the slave trader Yotsu was walking at high speed towards the Lord Ingram's palace. He had seen enough and had learned enough in his life to understand one thing. The slave he had sold a few days ago to the palace lord wasn't some mere woman.
When posed with Riddick's question, it had taken Yotsu all he had to lie to him but a few hours of constant thinking made him realise that he had been right. True, he may have been near death but by lying he has now found a way to strike it rich. A favour of the Palace lord wasn't something that can be bought with money and he was on his way to get himself one.
As Yotsu walked in a hurry he noticed a similarly dressed man walking towards him. They both crossed each other without meeting the eye.
"Arghhh!"
Yotsu grunted in a low voice as a sharp pain pierced his mind. Blinking his eyes he looked at his abdomen. Scarlet blood dyed his robe as a sharp needle pierced his body all the way from the front to the back.
His eyes showed his despair before he could scream in pain and before he could open his mouth, his body showed the signs of destruction. The poison coated on the needle muddled his brain functions faster than he could shout and before he showed any signs of disturbance, a silent chop on his neck threw his consciousness into an eternal sleep.
Grabbing his black robe, Riddick simply flipped him and the next second Yotsu disappeared like wind. Wearing the robe himself, Riddick walked towards the Lord's palace with a plain face.
Gently flipping Yotsu's identity card, Riddick said in a low voice, "Please inform Lord Ingram, I, Yotsu have come to report a matter of utmost secrecy."
..................
Note : Don't be confused. How many slaves have blue hair and a son in an enter empire? Trust me, it isn't one.
So basically Ingram city had such a slave and so did the RegenRock Prefecture.

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled.
