Author notes: Hi guys I am trying to implement whatever suggestions I could into my writing, also I tried to make this chapter a bit longer than the previous chapter.
PLEASE RATE , COMMENT AND ENJOY
I trembled as I heard the voice, it was so powerful that I lost control of my body. I climbed into the carriage in a mechanical way and sat in a daze, the voice which kept quite till then started speaking again as the carriage started moving forward.
' So boy, what can you sense about me '
Not knowing how to answer the question I remained quiet.
' Speak boy, you can never hide from me '
' I can sense your direction and also your aura which gives a image of black miasma '
' ho ho, so a weak human such as yourself can sense me to this extent ha ha '
' ......... Who are you sir? '
' so the little rabbit can speak of its own free will. What do you think I am ? '
'I am sorry sir I have no idea. Please give this humble being your name sir '
My thoughts were very clear no matter who he was, he was definitely not a human, an existence surpassing a mortal. He is most probably a immortal,I do not understand why he reached out to me but I have to be very careful as he can definitely squish me to death with just a thought.
' O! You are certainly intelligent for a kid, you need not know my name for now but you can call me lord Void '
' Yes, lord Void '
' So kid I will ask you a question, are you interested in becoming strong? '
I was startled with his question but still answered ' yes, lord Void '
' I see, I see, so you want to be strong but tell me how strong do you wish to become and what do you want to do after you become strong '

I thought for some time and answered that ' I wish to become strong enough to protect my family and give them whatever they want, after becoming strong enough to achieve that I wish to become the strongest '
' ha ha, truly an answer of a child still I am satisfied with it so I will offer you a deal boy, a deal which will help you to become strong but it only helps you, it will not make you strong boy '
Confused I ask ' what deal sir '
' A contract between me and you, I will grant you with my attribute but you have to fulfill a wish of mine in the future '
' What wish sir? '
' That I cannot say yet, but I will tell you after you become strong enough '
' Then will the contract end upon the completion of your wish and will I lose your attribute sir '
' Yes and no, you will lose my attribute but your own attribute will be developed so it is of no problem '
' I see, then I will accept this contract on one condition sir '
' Speak what is your condition ? '
' Even after the completion of contract you will be my ally, and you will absolutely never harm me '
' Wonderful boy, are you really kid. You amaze me, but yes I will accept your condition. So this is the contract '
As he said this I suddenly see a cream coloured paper with unknown language on it, but I can still somehow understand the contents of paper, it was exactly what lord Void has said.
' So put a drop of your blood on the paper boy '
I put a drop of my blood on the paper and was followed by a dark drop on other side sealing the contract . I could sense a mysterious force binding me to the existence of lord Void.
' With this the contract is completed boy ha ha. So I will ask a question now boy, what is your name ? '

' Riddick sir '
' I see call me Void, Riddick '
' Yes, Void '
VOID POV:
I was deep in my slumber when I noticed some one's spiritual power reaching me. I was instantly alert but the spiritual power was so weak that I could not even compare it to a fly, so I simply ignored it.
After a good while I observed that this spiritual did not belong to someone searching my abode but belonged to a weak existence.
Out of boredom I decided to observe this existence which turned out to be a little boy, but I was completely shocked that he could sense me as I reached out for him.
So I tried to speak with him and I succeeded, how did this kid hear me I tried to contact several times with creatures of many levels but never succeeded so how did this kid hear me?
Talking with the kid I realised that he was much intelligent than an average child but maybe I am wrong how can I know the intelligence levels of human children.
Thinking of all the events that happened after the child reached out to me I decided to make a gamble, I will make a contract with the child as he is the only chance I have to escape from this prison plane.
The contract was successfully established and my connection with the child was stabilised. Though I cannot do much from this I can at least have a way to entertain myself. Now Riddick, grow strong I will be waiting for you.
I was smiling from ear to ear as I began to think of what I will do after I break free from this goddamn prison, even if Riddick didn't put the condition I would have never harmed the boy I am going to nurture. Ha ha this world will soon see me as I rise once again to shake the heavens.
MY POV:
I was completely nervous when I was taking with Void, I had my fears of accepting the contract with a being of such power but I could not muster up any more courage to ask a few questions except for the one condition which is crucial for my survival.
I was even prepared for death when I dared to say the condition but contrary to my expectations Void accepted it easily. This changed my impressions of Void as now he did not look like a unreasonable figure.
He said that I would receive help but not power if I accepted the contract so I accepted it as i will still receive help. After the contract was completed I felt a strange surge of energy connecting to my chest from unknown source.
After carefully analysing the situation I came to the conclusion. The energy I felt is dark in nature completely enveloping and mixing together with the little mage force of fire and lightning I had.
So the attribute I gained was dark attribute which was rare in this world because attributes themselves were rare whether it was light or dark attribute. Feeling elated I thanked Void.
' Thank you Void for giving me dark attribute '
' Dark attribute what a joke don't compare mine with that shit '
' But it is dark in colour '
' Listen kid never make a mistake, dark attribute is dark grey in colour while mine is a majestic pitch black '
' Then what is it '
' It is named Void attribute '
' Oh! Is it a variation of dark attribute that you possess ' this was the only thing I could think of as this world had only light and dark attributes.
' ha ha, no kid this is the one and only third attribute in existence which is possessed by only two members in the entire multi universes me and now you '
' What did you say? '

The Good Crash: An Oral History of the Post-Scarcity Collapse
"Don't we all feel, deep down, that we deserve the apocalypse?" APRIL, 2028—Global capitalism has collapsed. America has sealed itself off from the outside world, and inside its borders, a revolution rages. All it took was one incredible little machine. That machine turned into two, then four, then eight... like a virus, the replicators spread. As a work of oral history, The Good Crash features over 50 interviews with key witnesses to the events of 2027. The text is rendered in the words used by the interviewees themselves, with light editing for clarity and concision. As such, the book contains language and themes that are not appropriate for children.By capturing the voices to the people at the very root of the revolution, journalist and historian R. Vondersnitch has traced the origins and aftermath of the replicators' rapid spread. Crucially, the book also includes perspectives and testimony from those who attempted to stop the spread of the reps. "Some of these are heroes, too, in their own ways," the author writes in the book's introductory note.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.

The Errant Otherworlder Watanabe
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and trucks whom transport men to other worlds.” Meet our titular protagonist Haruto Watanabe, a man who has all the markings of a good protagonist for a generic portal fantasy story. As an overworked office worker, to escape from the grips of crippling capitalist alienation, he had taken up to reading many stories where young men like him were transported to other worlds and enjoyed their lives at a most leisurely pace. Armed with genre-awareness and (what he believes to be) a marketable personality which would make him an easy audience self-insert, he longed for the day the isekai express would take him to his long-awaited adventure to another world. When the fateful day came, where the fair yet harsh mistress that is the fabled truck took Watanabe on one last date to the other side, he was most ready to escape his previous life, ready to embark on an errant so great he’d be most overpowered, his heroics so exceptional and his harem so vast that they would barely fit ten or twenty volumes of an overly long novel made by a desperate author looking for quick cash. Lo and behold however, Watanabe instead found himself in a low fantasy world which lacked severely in the department of any game-like systems, cheat skills or easily charmed damsels in distress. In a setting so antithetical to his established genre savviness or any attempts at power fantasy, how will a man like Watanabe, lacking in strength, wits and courage, manage to survive in a land most foreign to him? This is my first time trying to share to the wider world what I’ve written, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading the errantry of Watanabe as much as I enjoy writing about them. I'll be posting one chapter per week on Sundays, along with extra chapters whenever I get the chance to write more than usual.
