Well, the second book is finished. Now, A small glossary-

The Nightmares: If the strong feelings in the hearts of beasts or men grow to a degree that it no longer sustainable by the world, the threads of chaos scattered throughout the whole world start to gather, corrupting those with the least bit of resistance, turning them into beings that are not of the mortal plane. It corrupts not only beasts but objects, plants and humans too. There is only one way to ward off the effects of its corrosion, and that is strong willpower. However, not all can have willpower as strong, especially, animals or plants, not to mention objects that become cursed or blessed depending on the feelings of others towards them. The beasts who are corrupted, become incredibly strong, gain magical prowess they previously might not have possessed, and bear a strong hatred towards the uncorrupted, seeking only their destruction.

However, if a beast overcomes the challenge of corruption, it might also gain the same attributes, except for the last one. They are sometimes revered as holy beasts or guardian deities. Their numbers, however, are far less than their more violent counterpart.

If a human being or other being of similar sentience fails to withstand corruption however, they become a different kind of Nightmare. They become the beings that people make up horror stories about. One such example would be, Vampire.

Beings of myths and Legends: Unlike unique beasts that are sometimes born with magical talents(like a human born with magical talents), the beings of myths and legends are beings that, by birthright, possess magic and intelligence superior to humans. They, however, rarely involve themselves with the matters of the world, living in their own terms. They have the power to grant blessings of curses(like in Shaela and Sena’s case), and their powers are beyond measure. Rarely could a human even with the best of magical talents, could hope to match them. In stories of old, heroes of the past have tried to hunt them for glory, but for one, they mostly never succeeded, and even by some cursed luck they did succeed, they faced an experience that could only be described as eternal torment until their death. However, as much as these beings know how to hold a grudge, they also know how to return an act of help, mostly in the form of a blessing that elevates the blessed into an existence that is more than just a human.

And lastly,

The story of Erhan’s, Sena’s and other’s journey would continue in the next part of the story in 2021’s writathon. For now, I’m ending the second book here. It was a heck of a ride that’s left me kinda exhausted, to be honest, so I’ll take a weeklong break before going back to my original story, Viewpoint: Bloom. For all those who had still stuck with that story despite the month-long hiatus, I give you my sincerest thanks. I’ll continue uploading the chapters of that story according to my previous schedule. As for faster releases, I’ll work on that too, I promise…

Now, the last thing I’ll do for this story would be to give it a decent cover. I’ll work on drawing that in the coming week, so look forward to that, I guess...
