Jacob looked at the raiders camp and all the occupants. The Black Blades and a dozen War Bands made up the bulk of the forces that were present. Nearly a thousand raiders that had been attacking and slowing the march of the oncoming army. Tonight would be no different, they would launch attacks all night long, keeping most of the invaders awake and denying them sleep. This time though, Jacob had brought nearly two hundred Immortals to reinforce them.
Assassins, Thieves, Rogues, anyone with infiltration and Stealth Skills that were willing to come from the bands of Mercenaries. All of them had batches of Alchemic Bombs and Phoenix Potions, tonight would take a large toll on the invaders if everything went to plan. "This is stupid, you should not be here." The Succubus stated from behind.
Jacob ground his teeth together and tried to ignore her as he worked with the various War Band leaders and the leaders of the Black Blades. They quickly finished hashing out the various plans and backup plans before dispersing. Jacob took a deep breath and removed his helm and shoving it into his inventory before confronting the Succubus. Jacobs arm darted out and grabbed her by the throat before he dragged her out of the tent and towards the edge of the camp.
The Succubus kicked and hit Jacob the whole way, while the Angel giggled softly as she followed them. As soon as they reached an area beyond the tents Jacob stopped and brought her face to face with him. The Succubus's nose touched his as he glared at her. "Don't ever second guess me in front of my men again. You are a guest here. I tolerate your presence due to the treaties of the past and trying to foster a good relationship with both Light and Darkness. If you ever do that again in front of my men, I will personally send your ass back to the Abyss, am I understood?" Jacob snarled out.
The Succubus nodded her head as she blushed slightly. "If you have a real recommendation that would help our planning, feel free to speak up. I do not mind other opinions, but I decide where I go and when." Jacob stated before striding off back into the camp.
The Succubus licked her lips before glancing at the Angel, "Don't say anything!!" The Succubus stated as she glared at her counterpart.
The Angel smiled at her, "Wouldn't dream of it. Just don't let your nature dictate your response with him. His wife would kill you." The Angel replied causing the Succubus to roll her eyes as she followed their charge back into the camp.

Ailis drummed her fingers on the table as she stared at the Dwarf in front of her, "So the guild wants them all dead?" Ailis asked as she thought about what the Dwarf asked.

"Yes. Everyone always pays to someone in the underworld. These raiders have been operating out of the Cursed Cove for three months now. They don't do enough to bring the Legions attention down on them, but they have caught ours and the Mayor has even created a quest for you Immortals to capture or kill them. The Guild wants them dead because they refuse to pay up...So get a group of Immortals together and go to what you Immortals do best." The Dwarf responded.
Quest Issued: Bloody Waves
Description: The Crimson Raiders, Pirates and Thieves, have set up a base in the nearby Cursed Cove. The Assassins Guild has tasked you with taking out this rogue group for refusing to pay their dues to the Thieves Guild.
Requirement: Party of 4+, Level 25
Success Conditions: The Crimson Raiders are dead and not captured
Failure: Either you fail to kill all the Crimson Raiders or they are captured and turned over to the local Legionnaires
Rewards: 500 Experience, 3 Gold, Increased Reputation with the Assassins Guild
Do you Accept? YES/NO
Ailis accepted the quest, it was the only reason why she had traveled out here in the first place. Now she was going to do a Dungeon Run..."Yeah, I will take care of it. Just make sure I get paid, I am not doing this out of the goodness of my heart." Ailis told the Dwarf who snorted in disdain before heading out. "What do you want Rogue?" the Store owner asked glaring at her.
"I just need some Minor Healing and Stamina potions, then I will be out of your hair good sir," Ailis replied as she looked around. She had already gotten her armor and weapons repaired. She had stocked up on lick picks and throwing knives, buying some potions was the last thing she needed to do before she got the Dungeon Quest and try to find more Immortals or some Adventurers willing to go.
"Its 5 Copper for each, per potion. None negotiable." the Man responded
"Are you done yet?" Ozzy asked as he entered the general store.
Ailis nodded as she requested four of each and dropped Four Silver in the man's hands as placed the eight potions on the counter. "Yes, Ozzy, relax. The Dungeon isn't going anywhere." Ailis replied as she finished checking the potions to make sure they were what she ordered before giving the owner a sweet smile. She immediately placed three of each type of potion in quick slots while throwing the last two in her inventory.
"I know, but this is the first Dungeon I have run since I picked up my Gladiator class. I want to see how it compares to when I was just a Warrior." Ozzy replied as they exited the General Store.
Ailis smiled at the Gladiator. It was one of the new classes that everyone only knew the bare bones about. "Well, we need a Tank and Healer before we go anywhere," Ailis replied and Ozzy nodded as they walked towards the Quest Board.

Jacob watched as the night was light up by multiple explosions throughout the large camp of Chaos Warped. Screams, bells, and horns sounded as the army was aroused from sleep to face the threat, however, it was too late. The Black Blades and the other raiders were already striking the camp from various points around its perimeter sowing more chaos and destruction among the invaders.
Arrows and magic slammed into the Chaos Warped army killing and wounding dozens more, everything was going as planned for now. The army below was writhing and off-balance as its commanders reacted instinctively ordering the pursuit of the raiders and allowing the infiltrations teams time to wreak more havoc behind enemy lines.
Jacob and those with him were here to provide cover and distraction for the nearest raiders once the Chaos Warped deployed after them. Jacob could see two squads of the Black Blades leading a War Band of Orcs and Goblins. Roughly a hundred raiders were launching spells and arrows at the writhing army. It was only a matter of time until the deployed to envelop the raiders.
"We should move closer." The Angel said as she picked up her spear.
The Succubus snorted, "No. The Vampire is right, for ambushing anyone pursuing the closest raider group, we are in the best spot." She stated.
"The Vampire has a name, and we do not move until we are needed," Jacob replied while rolling his eyes. The other nearby Immortals chuckled at his reply and the byplay between the Succubus and Angel.
"We also have names, yet you have failed to use them even once." the Succubus replied with a pout. The Angel rolled her eyes at her counterparts antics.
Jacob refused to take the bait and refused to take his eyes off the ongoing battle. "Did you once even offer your names to me?' Their silence was their answer. 'That is no Succubus. Now please be quiet unless you have something to add that is pertinent to the situation." Jacob stated shutting the conversation downs as the Chaos Warped army started to organize and deploy to envelop the raiders.
Jacob eased Moonlight in its scabbard to make sure it was clear to draw in a heartbeat as he mounted Star. The others were already calling up their mounts. "Remember the plan. We hit them hard and fast long enough to buy time for the raiders to getaway. That is the only reason why we are here." Jacob instructed them one more time. The Mercenaries all nodded their heads. Jacob checked to make sure all his Buffs were up and tapped Stars flanks causing the Void Wolf to take off towards the ongoing battle. Jacob watched as Fireballs, Lightning, spikes of Earth and wind crashed down on the oncoming Chaos Warped. Jacob smirked and added a barrage of Shadow Bolts to the madness before drawing Moonlight and jumping off of Stars back and into the battle. Jacob activated Shield Slam and Hemorrhage, the twin attacks decimated the nearest ranks of the oncoming enemies as Jacob threw himself into the thick of things. Star, the Succubus and Angel right on his heels as the mercenaries continued to rain destruction and death on the Chaos Warped and giving the raiders time to getaway.
Jacob called Bruno from the Shadow Plane. The Armored Shadow Liger went to work immediately tearing into the nearest Chaos Warped. Bones and flesh were torn as the huge cat threw its body around, claws and teeth lashed out killing even more. "That raiders are clear!! Time to leg it!!" one of the mercenaries yelled out over the din of battle.
Jacob nodded his head and thrust his arm forward and watched as a large pool of shadows formed all around them. Entangling Shadows exploded from the ground entangling and slowing Jacobs enemies as the moved backward, away from the battle. Star immediately moved to join him while Bruno continued to distract the majority of the nearby enemies. Jacob snarled as he activated Shadow Storm. A whirlwind of Shadow magic appeared cutting through and killing even more of the Chaos Warped. The winds cut into them while black lightning appeared through the portal slamming into nearby enemies and covering their retreat. The two AoE spells working perfectly together.
Jacob checked Bruno's status, he was bloody and hurt but unbroken as he pushed his way clear of the press of bodies and ran to join them as they fled the battle. How such a large and heavily armored form could run that fast, Jacob wondered but he doubted he would ever find out. The Demon and Angel were easily keeping pace while flying nearby. More horns sounded in the distance as the army was recalled. "You have Shadow Magic?" The Demoness asked as she flew nearer.
Jacob nodded his head as he counted the mounted mercenaries ahead of him. They had gotten away with everyone surviving the mad raid. They would fall back, resupply and do it again in a couple of hours.
