Grabble and the others of his patrol were resting the Wargs when they herd it. The sound of Portals opening. Grabble had counted over a dozen before he had stopped counting. Grabble immediately ordered his patrol to remount as the set off towards the southwest.
Less than five minutes later Grabble slowly crawled over a rise, beyond it twenty large portals stood open disgorging rank upon rank of all sorts of monsters. Kobolds, Orcs, other Goblins, Trolls, Giants, Harpies, Gnolls, even some Undead, and all of them had one thing in common, they were all Chaos Warped. Thousands of them had already assembled and were marching towards the southeast. Only one thing was there of any worth, the great fortification known as the Wall. Grabble immediately scrambled backward and mounted his Warg as he pulled the communication stone from his satchel. The Shaman and Battle leader would know what to do.

The whole crowd let out a large 'OH' as the Rogue took a Fireball to the face. The Mage quickly capitalized on his success by launching a barrage of Firebolts at the Assassin as she dodged away and disappeared back into Stealth as the crowd roared in incouragement.
The Governors Ranyln Do'und and Ilmdra Do'und watched the proceedings with cool detachment while glaring at each other occasionally. The bad blood between the two would not be buried quickly despite them attending a celebration of sorts. "If you two keep glaring at each other, I am going to start throwing ice at you two. I expect better from my Governors." Jacob stated and when they looked at him, he gave them each a mocking smile.
"I apologize, my Emperor, I will try to be more civil," Ranyln stated as he gave his cousin a warped smile that did not reassure Jacob at all.
"I also apologize to you, my Emperor. I will do my best to enjoy the...sense of these games." Ilmdra stated while giving her cousin a feral smile.
Jacob rolled his eyes at their antics as he tried to ignore them. '"Excuse me Emperor Longstrider, it appears your Seneschal is walking around...awkwardly. Is she ok?" Lady Nisa Stovrelzide asked innocently.
Gloria bit her lip and refused to look at Jacob as he gave her a hungry smile. "Oh, she was taught a lesson last night. One she enjoyed but will not forget any time soon Lady Stovrelzide. She is a bit tender today." Jacob replied with a smirk. Cathrine laughed and Gloria tried and failed not to smile.
Nisa sighed and winked at Gloria, "I wish someone would teach me a lesson like that. Was it worth it dear?" Nisa asked Gloria.
Gloria made her way over to the diplomat and whispered in her ear before backing off and moving back to stand between Jacob and Cathrine. "Well, that is very interesting. Thank you for letting me know Gloria." Nisa told her and Jacob refused to take the bait and ask what she had told her.
Cathrine smiled and poked him in his side causing Jacob to grab her hand and kiss it. "Don't worry so much my heart, you will grow grey hairs," Cathrine said.
Jacob was going to reply when a ping of a message arriving stopped him. Jacob quickly read it, every word caused him to pale. He quickly created a message for all the Governors and sent it to them all. "Stay here and enjoy the games. Gloria with me. You two, its time to stop acting like children and be responsible again. GO! Captain, I need an escort back to the palace, at least half will stay here with my wife.' Jacob barked out rapidly as he moved over to Cathrine and gave her a quick hug. 'I love you. Relax please and remember I will always come back too you." Jacob told her before letting her hands go and striding away, Gloria on his heels.

The strategic map was already lit up highlighting the valley. Nadal, Darren, Ezekial, and Tarren were all present as he asked them to be. "Gentlemen and lady, an army of Chaos Warped are marching through the Golden Plains as we speak. Scouts from the Jagged Spear Tribe got lucky and spotted them as they emerged from Portals. I want the Black Blades redeployed beyond the wall, I want them organizing and working with the Southern Orc Tribes War Bands, if this army has a supply train or siege weapons, I want them destroyed. Tarren, get the Seekers organized, anyone who is willing to support the defense of the valley, tell them they have twenty-four hours to get whatever they need to be done, completed. Darren, I need scouts out beyond the Wall, the reports we have just say they brought 'lots and lots'. I want solid numbers or close proximity to what they brought. Gloria, I want an evacuation plan written up and messages sent to King Ironbreaker and Governor's Goldflint and Saltrake, they might be receiving some temporary guests. We need to also make sure we have supplies to feed people and our forces if this turns into a siege. Nadal, you are in overall command of the valley, but Brox has direct command over the city, Ironbark the fortresses between the city and the Wall, and Hune will be in command of the Wall itself. Call up the Ax Ragers and Stone Cleavers, garrison them here in the city. I want this city locked down, the only Immortals allowed in the Inner City at this point are the Seekers of the Dawn, everyone else gets kicked out. Ezekial, think outside the box and plug any holes." Jacob commanded as he thought about any other things he could set in motion as the others scattered.
Jacob entered the Eternal Forest, a small squad of Heart Guard with him as he paced back and forth waiting. Analisa Silverwood entered the clearing with a small escort. "Jacob Longstrider, you have requested this meeting." The Dryad stated flatly.
Jacob gave her a wry smirk. "Stop acting like a child Nila. You insulted me, I did not insult you so pull your head out of your ass or we could all die." Jacob replied coldly.
One of Anilisa's escorts stepped forward to respond but their Queen stopped the Treant. "What are you talking about Jacob?" She asked as she lost some of the stick up her ass.
"There is an army coming for the Valley. If we cannot stop them, they will scour this valley of all life. We are going to try and hold them at the mouth of the valley...but if they push through the Wall. I need assurances that your people won't attack mine. Also, it would be nice if your people helped in the defense of the Valley of Origins." Jacob told her as he stepped closer to the Dryad Queen.
Analisa studied him before reversing the spear in her hand and driving it into the ground. "You are much changed since the last time I have seen you, Jacob. You are far stronger and something...inside of you craves to get out." Analisa stated as she cocked her head.
"The power I have...I did not want and its a discussion for another time. Do we have an Accord? Can we agree to work together in defense of the Valley of Origins?" Jacob offered the Dryad Queen.

The Dryad nodded her head slowly, "Yes, as far as this Valley is concerned, we will defend it with our lives as well. We have an Accord to fight and die with you if necessary."
Kingdom Alert...
The Dryad Queen...Analis Silverwood...has made a Mutual Defense treaty to defend the Valley of Origins from hostile forces.
Military forces of the Eternal Forest will be flagged as friendly and will not attack you or your forces on sight. They will defend themselves if attacked first though.
Kingdom Alert...
Alert...
You have made an official treaty with a Monster Faction, at your kingdoms current level (3), you can only create two treaties with Monster Factions. See your Kingdom Tab for more information about the Eternal Forest Monster Faction.
Alert...
Jacob dismissed the notifications after quickly reading them. "I will detail some of my forces to reinforce your positions at the wall and the forts throughout the Valley. If they are attacked, they will defend themselves." Analisa stated.
Jacob nodded his head in acknowledgment. "I understand. Thank you for your assistance." Jacob replied as he turned to leave.
"I am sorry Jacob. You are right, you are not a monster and I was wrong for implying that you are." Analisa stated.
Jacob snorted, "No Nila, you were right I have a monster inside just waiting to get out. Don't worry though, I know how to aim it now." Jacob replied as he walked away.

Ava screamed in pain as her shield collapsed and the whip made of Fire slammed into her face. "Ahhh, is the little Loranan hurt. I don't care!! Get up you little bitch, you still have training to do." Master Kornan mocked as he paced back and forth.
Ava glared at him as she conjured Flurry and launched the spell at him. Four one foot long wrist-thick spikes of ice flew at the Master Pyromancer. He knocked two of them out with his whip while the last two were blocked by an Arcane Shield. Master Kornan rolled his eyes at her display as he dismissed the whip and shield and launched a handful of Firebolts at her.
Ava gasped as she summoned her own Arcane Shield catching most of them before her shield collapsed. Two of the Firebolts slammed into sending her spinning to the ground in a heap, her health bar strobing and screaming at her that she was about to die. "HEALER!!' Master Kornan bellowed out. The few healers assigned to the training area looked reluctant to come over until Kornan glared at them. Kornan smirked at her as he walked over and lifted her head and forced her to stare at him. 'I understand you are an Immortal, but you are still part of the Loranan Family. Traitors and betrayers of their own kin and everyone that cared about them. Your training for today is done, but you will be back tomorrow and I will train you the same way again Loranan." Master Kornan stated before spitting on her and shoving her face away.
The healer finished casting a few spells on her and when Ava tried to thank him, he sneered. "Do not thank me. The King was too forgiving of your family. He should never have let it back into the kingdom after what it did. The only reason why I healed you was because it was my duty, but a Loranan wouldn't know anything about duty or honor. Now get out of here Loranan." the Healer stated before leaving her there on the ground.
Quest Completed: Learning Basic Spell Work
Description: Well you learned basic spells from Master Kornan, although he was harsh, he did teach you.
Rewards: 200 Experience, 5 Silver, Unlock Basic Mage Skills (Arcane Bolt, Firebolt, Flurry, Arcane Beam, Arcane Shield)
Ava rolled to her feet and left the Mage training area and reentered the city. The guards kept an eye on her as if they expected her to kill someone or set something on fire. She was a pariah within her home kingdom, they were supposed to start as Neutral, but she had an Unfriendly reputation with Daran'thia. "Having a good time?" an older man asked as she walked by.
Ava looked up from the ground, suddenly she glared at the man. "This is your fault!! Why did you put me into the Loranan Family? Everyone here hates and loathes me for something I never did." Ava stated. She was tempted to blast the old man with a Firebolt, but she would probably be arrested for disturbing the peace or attempted murder.
"Really? So you did not betray your family or the people that cared about Ava? I am a lot of things Ava, but I am hardly ever wrong about Character Creation. You made your choices and now you are paying for them. It might have been done under a different name Ava Stormcaller, but your actions are your own. Start owning up to them and you might redeem yourself and your family name. Why don't you go to the City library and read up on the Loranan Family, you might be surprised by what you find there." the Old Man replied before disappearing.
Quest Issued: Path of Redemption (Stage 1)
Description: The Loranan Family was cast out due to past choices, what they are, you do not know. You only know that High-Elven society treats this family as second class citizens, and are hated and loathed by everyone. Seek out answers and you might find the light of knowledge reveals more then you think.
Quest Difficulty: Nightmare
Success: Go to the Elleshara City Library and read up on your family history
Failure: Do not go too the Elleshara City Library and find the answers you need, You reputation with the High-Elf Nation of Daran'thia will be permanently fixed to Unfriendly
Rewards: 300 Experience, Unknown
Restriction: You must complete this Stage alone, This Quest cannot be refused
Ava's cursing filled the air as she read the notification multiple times and considered submitting a trouble ticket, but it might make things worse. She took a deep breath and decided to go eat and get cleaned up before heading to the Library.

Wrong Side of The Severance
In the waning times of a costly war that spanned several firmaments, one world that was supposed to be cherished by the gods was cast to the wayside, and from everyone’s minds. Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. No. Instead, they found that, once the war had begun, the hierophants no longer heard the whispers of their sacred deities whom they had served so faithfully; only silence now filled the halls of their temples. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves.
