TING!* TING!* TING!* TING!*
A giant bearded man was hitting the red hot iron of a badly shaped sword with his trusted hammer on his anvil. The dusty room was badly lit and reeked of sweat and humidity but it is where the man spent his entire days, working the metals in need of repair.
He was alone in this world if not for his apprentice who was currently pumping the giant bellow used to heat up the burning coals. The young brown haired man was watching his master's every move as it was the best way to learn the secrets of the job.
The giant bearded man raised the still red hot sword and aligned it up in the air in front if his right eye, trying to find any imperfections in his work. Once satisfied with the result he finally quenched it in cold water which created a warm cloud of vapour engulfing the entire room.
The big man was named Hôtirhon, blacksmith of Rosana City. He was a commoner with no family name but still had made a name for himself thanks to his blacksmithing skills. His entire life had been spent hitting his hammer in solitude.
Now he had an apprentice but having spent his entire life alone, the giant man wasn't sure how to act around the young lad. This young man was named Kleytho Rhysh, brown eyes, brown hair, relatively small since he was only 15 years old and pretty much looked like your average farmer's son.
“Ok young lad, that will be enough for today.” (Hôtirhon) Said the giant man to the teenage boy while wiping his sweaty forehead with a dirty piece of cloth.
“Thank you for today master Hôtirhon.” (Kleytho)
The young man began to clean up the tools and prepare himself to put out the giant furnace but was stopped by the giant man before he could do so.
“Let it run, I will try to do some experiments later. You can just wash yourself up and go home.” (Hôtirhon)
“Can I stay to assist you with these experiments? A new way of forging? A new type of metal?” (Kleytho)
“No it's alright. I'll be good on my own. Go home.” (Hôtirhon) Then answered the unwavering giant.
A bit disappointed, the young man then went to the barrel of water and began to wash his body before leaving for the day. He still had work to do at home after all so even if he truly wanted to stay with his master, reality was that he had already too much work to do between the forge and the family farm.
Once he was gone, Hôtirhon went up front and closed shop for the day. He then walked up to the furnace and began emptying the used coals. Once that was done the giant man walked up to the storage room hidden under the stairs and took out a bag of something.
The giant man then emptied the bag in the furnace. What came out of the bag looked like blue coal that was emitting some weird looking white smoke. It was weird since the smoke seemed to go downward instead of upward. (Like dried ice)
As soon as the strange coals became hot, they began to glow with an intense white light which was almost too bright to look at. The giant man carefully monitored it as he began to unscrew some floorboards.

Once the floorboards lifted, Hôtirhon put his hand in the hole and grabbed a piece of something black and shiny. It looked like a piece of iron but was pitch black and gave a very ominous feeling to whoever looked at it.
Now with his piece of black metal in hand he closed the hole on the floor back up and approached the furnace. The blue coals had changed colour once again and were now glowing more gently in a cyan blue colour which looked more cold than hot.
Seemingly satisfied with how the coals looked, Hôtirhon then placed the piece of black metal into the coals and carefully looked at it. The black metal began to make a strange sound which sounded a bit like the whistle of a steam train.
Eventually the strange metal began to glow purple which made Hôtirhon smile for a moment as he grabbed it and placed it on his anvil. He readied his hammer and hit the purple glowing thing with all his strength creating a loud swoosh* sound.
He kept hitting and hitting but the piece of metal never changed shape and remained unchanged as it slowly cooled down. The giant man then threw his hammer on the ground before walking away and angrily pouring himself a mug of ale to vent his frustration.
“Tch... Another failure.” (Hôtirhon)
[Not far from there.]

You have just arrived at [Rosana] City.

“Urgg... better change my appearance a bit.” (Kneeko) As I said this I changed into my High human appearance. Now An'dalia and I looked like the perfect couple since we both had golden hair and blue eyes.
“Why? Did you do something bad in this city before?” (An'dalia)
“Umm not exactly, but I may have killed the hero of this city... Luckily she's a player so she's not really dead.” (Kneeko)
“Ho... So you killed a hero eh?” (An'dalia)
“As expected of my beautiful evil god. Teehee*“ (An'dalia)
Blush* Yes certainly it was a weird compliment to be blushing over but I didn't dislike her personality. She was a lot like me in that aspect. An'dalia was wearing a beautiful new crimson dress I had bought for her and I was wearing my standard black suit with a crimson shirt selected to match my beautiful woman.
We walked hand in hand down the street, looking like a newly wed couple of nobles that made the surrounding townsmen's faces look full of envy. People were looking at us wondering which royal families we were from.
One thing did attract my attention from looking at our surroundings. There was an insane amount of people walking around and all looked like warriors of some sort. After asking around a nice lady explained that a tournament was about to take place.
The prize was apparently some sort of legendary cursed weapon so people from all around the continent had gathered here. Who would want to get a cursed weapon? From what she told us, the weapon sucked up the people's souls and made them lose their mind.
What kind of stupid prize is that? Of course most of them wanted to win only to sell the legendary artifact afterwards. It may be cursed, but a legendary weapon would still be worth a ton of money. It was destined to be kept in a vault somewhere never to be used.
Some NPC even talked about a weird rumour saying that the current lord wanted to get rid of the weapon, thinking it was the cause for the mental illness of his wife. Actually this was indeed a possibility. Ho well, I am already rich so I didn't care at all about that weapon.

As An'dalia and I were slowly making our way toward a luxurious restaurant, a familiar sound suddenly tickled my ears. Swoosh*.......Swoosh*.......Swoosh*...... I suddenly stopped and twisted my head around, trying to locate the source of the noise.
“What is it Kneeko?” (An'dalia)
“This-... Tyrfing is here.......” (Kneeko)
“Tyrf...ing?” (An'dalia) She then repeated as she tilted her head sideways.
Then immediately I made 2 + 2. A legendary cursed weapon, that sound just now... The sound I had just heard was the sound that my old sword made back in the day when I pushed it to its limit. Tyrfing was the legendary sword... MY SWORD!
I thought it was lost forever after I lost it to the party of high rankers I had lost against in Alterlife1... But this sound was so unique that it couldn't be anything else. This was my cheat sword I had created via admin commands back in the days. As black as the darkest pit of hell, his name was Tyrfing!
“As your master, I command you to make yourself known Tyrfing!!” (Kneeko)
TRILLLSHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“That way!” (Kneeko)
I grabbed An'dalia's arm and dragged her along as I was following the familiar sound. The shrilling sound led us to what looked like a smithy. An old and dirty building which seemed a fitting hiding place for a talented blacksmith.
If he had Tyrfing in his possession it would explain the sound I had heard earlier. It would also mean that the blacksmith living here was highly talented if he even considered trying to reforge Tyrfing. The only odd thing was that if it was the tournament prize, why was it here at the smithy?
Then a low grumbling voice could be heard from inside the building which seemed to be closed for business. Of course if someone wanted to work on a legendary artifact, they would barricade themselves first to avoid curious eyes.
“The fuck is this sound?! Why is it reacting that way now? It never did that before...” (???)
Knock* Knock* Knock*
I knocked on the door impatiently and began to hear sounds of someone obviously panicking and hiding stuff in a hurry. After a few minutes the door opened slightly and a giant man almost as big as Nargaroth appeared through the crack.
“What do you want? Can't you see we're closed ?” (Hôtirhon)
[TerrorEyes] I forcefully opened the door and waltzed in uninvited.
“Hey! The fuck do you think you are? I said we are closed!” (Hôtirhon)
The giant man then tried to grab me but got dragged along instead as my crazy amount of strength wasn't reflected by my body size. I walked around a bit still following the noise and finally stopped after finding the sound was coming from under the floor.
The giant man took a sword from the wall and glared at me.
“I don't know what you think you are doing but you have nothing to do here. I suggest you get the fuck away before I call the guards.” (Hôtirhon)
Without a word I simply looked at him and raised my hand over the area emitting the sound before calling forth my old sword.
“As your master I command, come to me Tyrfing!!” (Kneeko)
In a loud explosion, the floorboards exploded and a small black rock as big as a fist flew straight into my hand where it belonged. The giant man's mouth was agape, looking at me with questioning eyes. As for me, I was angered to see my precious sword in pieces.
“W-who are you?! T-this is... a legendary artifact which belonged to a legendary demon emperor. He was rumoured to be the most powerful and also the most evil demon lord the world has ever known... H-h-how come you called yourself its m-m-m-master?!?!?!” (Hôtirhon)
An'dalia was carefully watching the scene with what looked like admiration in her eyes. I placed the piece of Tyrfing in my inventory before walking toward the giant man who was now backing away, afraid of what I was about to do to him.
“Now, let's have a very long conversation shall we?” (Kneeko)
Hearing this An'dalia entered and closed the door behind her. As for the giant man, I think he was about to pee his pants. I ordered him to sit and did the same with An'dalia giggling in the corner of the room. She seemed to have a lot of fun seeing me act like a villain...
“Now, mind telling me how you got your hands on this?” (Kneeko)
I transformed my eyes to those of my tadpole body as I asked this. Tadpoles may not be intimidating but believe me, their eyes are super creepy and intimidating looking. Of course to be able to do this I had to transform into my black haired human form which seemed to make the giant man freak out a bit.
He then explained that the lord of this city had asked him to find out if he could forge this material since he was the most talented blacksmith in the city. So this confirmed that Tyrfing was in pieces and these guys had wanted to reforge it.
Eventually they had given up and had opted to give it away as prize for the tournament as is. Tsss* These idiots had no idea what they were messing with, this sword could only be held by me and was indestructible as long as I supplied it with my mana.
Reforging it was something only I could do. After our long conversation I paid him a few gold for the piece and threatened him into silence. It was decided, I was going to take part in the tournament. No one is allowed to take away what's mine.

8 140The Seeker's Quest
This is my first full creation I hope you enjoy. Shae was raised mostly by her parents, though she spent the summers at her Great grand uncles house since she was 5. He was a bit odd, though attentive, and taught her to have fun with skills long out dated. She solved puzzles, riddles, and learned to track. They enjoyed time in the woods living off the land. His house was beyond fun and games during the summer for a young girl who was taught to love adventures. Now years later she is about to find her own way to adventures she never dreamed of. And maybe, never wanted.
