So the last series of chapters, especially the latest, are the start of why I had originally tagged this story as Grimdark. I wanted to see just what I could push a grey character to do, and see if I could actually make a story worthy of the grimdark tag. I could forge ahead and see just where I want the story to go, but a story that nobody reads is worthless. So I will leave it up to you readers, and I think I have a few compromises that might be worthy. I'll let you vote twice in the poll for those who want a split path option. I just ask that you choose one of the split paths and a light or dark path so I know which most people prefer. One last thing before the poll, if a lighter path is chosen then the last chapter of book 2 will be rewritten.

Side note: No matter the path, this will not end in a harem.
