Ronan continued to fly at Damien and pulled back his fist.

Damien saw this and planted his Bisento into the ground and got into a combat stance. Slowly, on his face the corners of his lips were pulled upwards to an almost impossible degree and they ended up making quite the manic smile.

The people who saw this felt that Damien at that moment was like an excited animal, fighting the challenges on its territory for fun.

When Ronan got closer to Damien, Damien felt his blood start to boil and he also felt that his Devil Form was trying to come to the surface and destroy that holy glow and the person using it.

His face twisted a little, his teeth grinding against one another in pure hatred.

But Damien shook his head mentally and desperately suppressed that urge, he wanted to enjoy this fight. If he used Devil Form, the fight would be over too quickly, that's why he's gonna have a good ol' strength only duel.

Well, he's the only one only using strength.

When Ronan was close to Damien, he saw the smile of hysteria on Damien's face and seemed to hesitate for a moment.

But it was already far too late.

*CRACK!*

Damien had thrown a right hook after dodging under Ronan's punch. Ronan's head spun to the side because of the strength used by Damien but surprisingly he recovered almost instantly and the Holy Glow around him got stronger.

"Hmph! You've got to hit harder than that!" Ronan shouted with disdain and contempt as he started throwing more punches at a faster speed than before.

Damien at that moment knew he'd underestimated his opponent a little bit, so he decided that he'd use his full strength and concentrated it into his two legs with his ability before he got into a stance and threw a solid kick at Ronan's midsection.

It turned out to be a deadly combo.

As soon as it hit Ronan, he was flung backward and into a big oak tree. Everyone looked at Damien as if he were a monster. To put it into their perspective, a kid who hadn't even had a year of combat classes and training yet had just dodged the 10th strongest person in the 1st year, punches and then kicked him hard into a tree with surprising ease.

"Come on, Ronan, come on and give me a proper fight!" he mad smile had never left Damien's lips and, in fact, it had grown even more insane looking as the fight went on. In his excitement he kept shouting for Ronan to come and fight him; to fight him harder and to push him further.

Everyone recoiled when they heard Damien's tone of voice that was filled with battle lust. Only 5 people didn't recoil, they were his friends in his class Michael, Beth, Helen, and Scarlet and also, surprisingly, Selena. She didn't recoil, she was, in fact, blushing while watching Damien's manic smile. For some reason whenever Selena saw this smile her heart seemed to speed up and start beating like it wanted to beat itself out of her chest.

Damien was oblivious to all this as he was waiting for Ronan to come at him again.

Ronan stood up from the ground by the tree and simply walked towards Damien and as he did so the Holy Glow got bigger and bigger, as if it was competing with the holy glow, the battle lust coming from Damien started getting more and more intense.

When Ronan suddenly charged, Damien was surprised, not because he was surprised by Ronan's power or because he was scared but because Ronan had charged at Selena who was to the side of them. This fully enraged Damien and he didn't know why, whether it was because Selena was his friend, or because he'd been ignored in a fight or because of both.

Damien's body reacted on instinct and he used his full strength with a Concentrated Step and charged at Ronan to intersect him before he could hurt Selena. Luckily, all his strength funneled into his feet for a Concentrated Step resulted in amazing speed and he caught up to Ronan almost instantly and when he did, he grabbed Ronan by the neck and slammed him into the floor.

He started slamming his fist into Ronan's face and just didn't stop. Ronan tried his best to stop Damien, he tried to punch back but they all either missed or had no effect on Damien's raging figure. Finally, he tried to force Damien's grip on him off of him but it felt like Damien's hand was an iron vice around his neck and it wouldn't be moved.

One of Ronan's punches was aiming for Damien's crotch and this really pissed Damien off.

'You wanna turn me into an impotent bastard like you?! Good luck with that, you prick!' he snorted in anger and grabbed Ronan's arm with his punching arm and simply--

*CRACK! TWIST!*

"ARGHHHHH!"

--Crushed it. As soon as Michael and the others saw this, they remembered what he did to Troy and they wondered if Damien had something for breaking peoples arms, but before they could think about that further, Damien finally lifted Ronan off of the ground, still holding his neck. Everyone winced as they saw Ronan's face, it was a mixture of blue, red and black. When people looked towards his mouth, all they saw was a hole with no teeth and blood constantly pouring out of it.

Damien looked at Ronan with a disdainful smirk before punching the poor boy in the stomach and digging into it.

Ronan threw up some food and blood onto the floor and Damien simply dropped him into his own vomit.

Everyone looked at Damien, one of the induction students, who had completely destroyed the 10th strongest first year, not even the 9th strongest could as easily manhandled Ronan as Damien did.

Everyone felt like they were looking at a future monster, no, they were looking at a present monster. He was already so strong at the age of 10, what about in a few years after being at the academy?!

Everyone recoiled in fear and slightly in disgust as well. They couldn't help but see Damien as some kind of unhinged barbarian.

Even his friends seemed a bit uneasy with the pain and suffering he'd inflicted on one of their upperclassmen.

Only one person was looking at Damien in a different light, unsurprisingly, it was Selena.

She was looking at Damien with a weird light in her eyes, her face was red and her lips were spread in a captivatingly beautiful smile. When Damien looked at her smile, even he was lost in it for a little while.

Soon after he snapped out of it and walked over to her.

"Sorry I had to do that in front of you, Selena. I got a bit excited and surprisingly angry in that fight," as he apologized he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment and let off a nervous laugh. To his surprise, Selena smiled even further.

"Angry? Why were you angry?"

As she asked this, Damien went a little red and felt embarrassed but he still answered Selena's question.

"I was angry because...uhhh..he went to attack you, my friend and he also ignored me in a fight, there might be something else though, I'm not sure..." he said this in an uncharacteristically nervous voice.

'Why am I so nervous around Selena? Am I hurt somewhere? Is she really strong or something?'

He was incredibly curious about why he felt so on edge currently.

Then he looked more deeply at her face, it was red with a lovely blush that seemed to make her hair look even more green and it went well with her pink eyes. Thinking this, Damien stopped suddenly, thinking of something more terrifying than any number of battles.

'Wait. Why am I focusing on that stuff? Wooahwoahwoah, do I like her? Like, like like her? How? Why? When?!'

"Hehe, you were angry that someone tried to attack me? You're so cute Damien!" she said this with a weird tone, matching the weird look in her eyes.

'Her tone sounds incredibly like my mother's--Wait. Oh god, please. Don't. Please, God, why do keep sending weird women into my life?'

When he was back in his old world, as Devil King Lu Shu, he never had any experience with women because he was always too busy training. So now that he was getting the attention of a pretty girl, while he could calm himself down and forcefully suppress the feelings, he oddly didn't want to, something in his head made it so he liked the attention.

When he realized he was reborn in a new world with a new life, he decided to live his life like a normal person (well, apart from the abilities and whatnot) and he wanted to experience things he didn't before. When he was thinking this, Selena did something that shocked him and he'd gone through tribulations and that was nothing compared to what Selena did.

"I think you deserve a reward for saving me, Damien~," she said this rather playfully and then she ran up to Damien and stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

'Did she just kiss my cheek?! It's the first time anyone's ever done that. Wow. Why am I completely stunned at the moment? Why do my legs feel like jelly? Did she poison me or something?'

As he was thinking this he just stood there with a blank look on his face. Seeing this, Selena smiled and turned away before running away with incredible speed.

"Woah!" "Did 6th ranked Goddess Selena just kiss that tall kid?" "What a scandal!" the audience clamored. The news would probably spread to the whole of the first years before tomorrow.

But Damien didn't care, he lifted his hand up to touch his cheek, he'd just finally experience what it was like to get a kiss from a girl and he was weirdly ecstatic about it like something was awakened in him. He let out a brilliant smile and picked up his Bisento and started walking back to his dorm, thinking about all the times he'll be kissing girls in the future.

Michael and the others were still stunned but they still followed Damien when he walked towards the dorm building.
