《The Making of a God Slayer》Chapter 22: The Birth of The Blackstone Three (Part 2)

(1.000 years until the day of the summoning, 3° person POV)
Yukari was sitting at her office, reading some documents. She has been working hard in these last years, using the absurd fortune that she amassed. She makes a pause. It’s already late at night, and she has been working nonstop while following her Master’s orders.
As she drinks some water, she remembers the Uchiha siblings that have visited her three months ago. They were asking for some financial help since someone trashed their bases and killed a few of their shinobis.
Of course, she helped, after all, she has been using them with quite a frequency, gathering information and killing a few people. And of course, how could she not her Master’s disciples? Not that she was doing t just to help them, she as waiting to go back to Akatsuki so that she could brag about helping them.
Suddenly, a familiar sensation washed over her. The presence of her Master. She stood up in a hurry, almost teleporting immediately. However, she stopped and started thinking. She knows that her he Master can’t go out of the Forbidden Continent with that barrier there.
So, whoever is mimicking her Master’s presence knows him, and by consequence, her. After all, why would someone mimic her Master’s presence… oh, there’s also Lilulana. Yukari, at the start, was against her standing near her Master, but, since she inherited her Master’s ability to read people’s hearts, she saw true love in her.
She also noticed that her Master felt the same, but she did not get jealous. In her mind, every woman in the world will fall in love with him after they meet, and her job is to ward of the insets that will hurt her Master.
So when she saw Lilulana’s love, the told her Master that she doesn’t mind them also being together. After all, even in love, her Master thinks about her, and wouldn’t start a relationship that could hurt her. This sweetness almost killed Yukari with love.
She extended her hand, turning it into white slime. A large drop fell to the ground from her hand, and that chunk of slime started to grow and change form, taking her appearance of disguise that she uses in her life here on the human continent.
Going back to her original human form, she changed to her maid outfit, that has the most powerful enchantments that she can create. And then, after taking out a pair of daggers, made from dragon materials with absurd enchantments se teleported to the place that she felt her Master’s presence.

The first thing that she noticed was the sea of black flames that covered a large area, going until the horizon. Looking down, at her feet, she saw the Uchiha siblings. Her Master’s presence was coming from them. She out away the daggers and kneeled beside the brothers, grabbing Shina by the shoulders and looking at her face.
Her face was contorted in pain, and a lot of veins were jumping out on her face. Shina opened her closed eyes, and what Yukari saw shocked her deeply. Her left eye was normal, with her Mangkeyõ activated. However, her right eye has a pattern that she knows very well.
Her Master’s pattern.
(Yukari): “Shina-chan! What happened?!”
(Shina): “I don’t know, Yukari-dono! The eye that shishou gave me disappeared! Something happened to him!”
(Yukari): “Catch up with me later!”
She said, leaving the siblings behind and teleporting to the Forbidden Continent. They won’t die, the pain is their body adapting to the new amount of power. Yukari feels something interfering with her teleport, so she couldn’t teleport exactly to her Master location.
She arrived at a completely black forest, the same forest that Akatsuki found. However, the situation is way worse, fierce winds make the trees shake violently, almost ripping them out of the ground. Powerful rain falls, and lightning don’t stop striking, as if the world was ending, even the earth was shaking.
Yukari, ignoring the ambient around her, immediately goes to the eye of the storm, where she’s feeling her Master’s presence, now stronger than never. Jumping over the giant wall that Akatsuki also jumped over, she saw her Master.
He was standing in the middle of a tornado of invisible energies. The powers were so intense that even the lightnings that fall around him get sucked and start to spin around him, as if they had a physical body instead of being made of energy.
The gravity was also a mess, with parts of the ground breaking and starting to float. She got terrified when she looked at her Master. His right hand was touching a black sphere. More than half of his right arm had turned black, like the sphere.
His eyes were bleeding, completely open, his eyes now are back to its original ones, the deep brown and blind ones. As she watches, a wound burst open on his chest, making a fountain of blood gush out.
However, the wound doesn’t close eventually. It stays open, spraying an abnormal amount of blood. Yukari look at that terrified. No matter the wound, it always closed instantly due his regeneration powers.

(Yukari): “I have to help Master!”
She thinks, running in his direction. However, the energy and wind coming from him is so strong that even she can’t approach past a certain point. She is forced to stop, still trying to go ahead without success. She starts crying in despair, her Master needs her!
However, she can’t help him, and despair starts to overtake her, and tears start to flow out from her eyes. In Akatsuki’s body, more wounds bursts open, creating a red mist of blood around him. While she looks in despair, Akatsuki looks to her, his eyes a bit unfocused.
He’s clearly blind, looking in her general direction. She notices it, and widen her eyes when he just smiles gently. And then, an explosion occurs, throwing Yukari hundreds of meters away.
(somewhere in the dragon continent)
Lilulana is in her adult form, with a notched whip in her hand, a human with horns and scales under the eyes tied up, full of wounds.
(Lilulana): “Now then, will you tell me what I want to know now?”
(Dragon): “Fuck you, bitch! I’m a proud dragon! I will never speak!”
She sighs, raising her whip. Dragons a surely hard to break, she thinks. Before she strikes at the flinching dragon in human form, an earthquake takes both of them by surprise. There shouldn’t be earthquakes on the dragon continent. Lilulana gets a strange feeling. Something is wrong, making her nervous.
The roses on her back are giving her a itching feeling, mainly her red rose. Love… Akatsuki!
After she figures out the origin of the feeling’s origin, she immediately tries to contact Akatsuki with telepathy… only to feel a terrible pain, almost making her faint. The dragon would have used this opportunity to escape, but he’s too wounded and the bindings are too strong.
(Lilulana): “What the hell happened…”
She looks at the dragon. Moving her hand, and the whip lashes, cutting the bindings. The dragon looks shocked at her. She glares at him and says:
(Lilulana): “I will be back to you later. Don’t you dare die.”
She says, teleporting away. She’s not powerful as Yukari, so she must teleport a few times before getting to the Forbidden Continent. As soon as she gets to the coast, she notices that’s something is extremely wrong.
First, the ground is shaking constantly, the sky is covered in black clouds and the wind is absurdly strong, coming from the direction leading deeper in the continent. It’s also raining heavily. Lilulana also could feel Akatsuki’s presence all over the place, even in the drops of rain.
She immediately started to fly using magic, as fast as she can. As she flies, she notices that there’s something wrong with the continent. It seems… different. Not that everything was destroyed by the storm, but the plants, the mountains… everything seems a bit out of place.
She quickly sees a familiar view. A flat mountain, as if it was cut in half. This is where she spent her time with Akatsuki. She lands on it, doubtful. She clearly got here way too fast, and she doesn’t know if this is THE mountain.
She goes to one of the faces of the mountain, and finds a familiar cave. Going in, escaping the storm. She sees the cave that she stayed for twelve years, and her doubts die when she sees some scratches on the wall that she had done by accident.
It as if the mountain has moved closer to the coast. She shakes her head, leaving these thoughts for later, taking flight again, rushing to the center of the continent. Suddenly, she collides with something mid-air.
Holding whatever collided with her, she looks surprised to the girl in her arms. It’s Yukari, unconscious. She looks at the origin of the storm, where’s also Akatsuki’s presence is coming from. Holding Yukari, who’s groaning, she gives her best to approach.
She sees on the top of the crater where Akatsuki is, she sees a red mist with black parts. The smell of blood is extremely strong. It’s Akatsuki’s blood. She isn’t able to approach, and looks in horror as the blood crystalizes.
The storm calms down, and she finally is able to approach. Putting Yukari on the ground, she touches the new red, black and purple crystal. She can feel Akatsuki’s presence from inside, but she isn’t able to contact him with telepathy, it’s being blocked. She clicks her tongue in frustration. What the hell is happening? She thinks.
She sits, with Yukari’s head on her lap. She will wait for her to wake up and explain what’s going on.
(Lilulana): “Please, my love, be alright…”

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.

The WereLionesses Mate
She was running out of breath, but that didn't matter, all that mattered was getting away from him and proving him wrong. Branches scraped her face and her arms, her body burning hot; but cold from her sweat as the wind blew over her skin. Her pants soaked from running through the streams, her shirt ripped to shreds around her stomach from very low hanging branches. Her hair, a tumbling fiery mess of tangles, and waves slipping through the ponytail she had quickly fastened trying to tame her wild hair. Running and crawling on the ground through the forest floor, trying to get back to the camp grounds so Whhooossshhhh! All of a sudden a giant gust of wind flew past her nearly lifting her off the ground and throwing her into a tree. Where in the world did that wind come from? She thought, but she kept running like it had never happened. She jumped over a fallen log, ignoring the fact that she almost fell in the process. She zoomed past all the trees and sprinted over the roots coming out of the ground. She rounded another tree coming to a sudden halt at seeing him standing there with a drink in his hand laughing and joking. She stood there wondering how in the world he could have beaten her here; He looked at her then, He looked, well, handsome, his faced was clean shaven and his button up shirt was all unbuttoned minus the three at the bottom. She could still visibly see his bronze chest and the top of his ripped-hard abs. He walked over to her and smiled, showing all of his teeth, the smile reaching his eyes. His eyes were dark and stormy, their color was usually a nice honey brown but now his eyes looked mid-night black. They looked like they could kill a man at eighty paces, but could sweep a woman off her feet at the same time.
