《The Making of a God Slayer》Chapter 20: Parting Ways With Connected Feelings

(1.285 years until the day of the summoning, Akatsuki's POV)
It has been 12 years since Lilulana came here to train. Today is her last day here. Yukari is also out in the human world, collecting information. It seems that she started a guild, but she won’t give me any detail until the day that I can get out from this place.
Anyway, I’m with her at the beach, so that we can say goodbye to each other. Until yesterday, Yukari was with us, but she had to go back. Lilulana got a lot stronger in those last years. It’s a bit sad, but we have to say goodbye.
(Lilulana): “It’s today.”
(Akatsuki): “Yeah, it is. You did well until here.”
(Lilulana): “It’s all thank to you. If it weren’t you, I wouldn’t acquire this power.”
(Akatsuki): “And if it weren’t for your determination, you would have fallen in the middle of your training.”
She chuckled. Then, she spoke to me.
(Lilulana): “I also acquired a new rose.”
(Akatsuki): “Yeah. They have a great power.”
(Lilulana): “Yeah, they have.”
Healing, that’s the power of her pink roses. Walking a bit forward with her hands on her back, she spoke.
(Lilulana): “You know, Akatsuki-shishou, besides mother, you have become a person that I can trust.”
(Akatsuki): “What’s with that now?”
(Lilulana): “Well, I’m about to go out from the Forbidden Lands, and I also talked with Yukari last night as well, she gave me permission.”
(Akatsuki): “You-“
I stopped talking when she jumped on me, kissing me. I fell on my back, with her mounting me.
(Lilulana): “The only person that I could ever trust and that trusted me was my mother. I learned my spirit arts at that time, when I was still an innocent child, gaining my white roses, which mean innocence. When she died, I was sad and mourned for her death, budding my black rose. Staying alone, avoiding other people and staying alone, I protected myself and isolated myself, budding my blue rose. And coming here, I met you, who erased all my ill feelings, took care of me, cared for me, trusted me enough to tell about your world. Thus, I fell for you, budding my pink roses.”

(Akatsuki): “You did the same for me. Because of you, I could get rid of my ill feelings, and give myself a purpose. You also trusted me enough to tell me about your mother, and the time that you spent on the vampire clan. Your journey for your father, your insecurities. I also came to like you. Then, if Yukari is fine with you, than I can say it, I also love you.”
She smiled, with tears coming to her eyes.
(Lilulana): “Thank you. Also, why are you trying to act cool? Letting me tackle you down when normally I wouldn’t be able to.”
(Akatsuki): “That’s the job of the man, be cool all the time.”
I smile to her.
(Lilulana): “What’s with that smug smile?”
(Akatsuki): “Shut up.”
I kiss her deeply. She kisses me back. A faint red light covers her body, making me surprised with the changes. She grows. Like, matures from her child form into a really gorgeous, with thicker horns, longer hair, big breasts, thin waits and large hips, a perfect hourglass.
White, porcelain skin, mature and serious face with a hint of lewdness. For some reason. Her clothes grew together with her. She’s much taller too, around 1,75. Around her horns, really tiny stalls with thorns and small roses blooming. She looks surprised at her own body, the same way I do. Soon she smiles.
(Lilulana): “Do you know what does a red rose means?”
(Akatsuki): “No.”
(Lilulana): “Burning passion. Thanks to you, my body is ready for your love. And actually, I’m very, very, very hungry for it. Also, in this form my worry that you won’t like my childish body doesn’t exist anymore.”
(Akatsuki): “Well, there isn’t anybody around here, and we have plenty of time. It has been 12 years, a few hours more won’t make that much difference. An I also have to tell you about your father, so let’s have our time.”

She leaned over me, ripping off my shirt, kissing my passionately. I was gentler with her clothes, since she will need them to go home.
(two days later)
Lilulana fell on my chest, breathing heavily.
(Lilulana): “Two days straight… what the hell is with your stamina?”
(Akatsuki): “Although I normally only do one might wit Yukari, I can keep for more than that, you know?”
I hugged her, and she closed her eyes. Then, I spoke seriously.
(Akatsuki): “Lilulana, I will tell you what I promised about your father.”
She looked at me, with a serious look.
(Lilulana): “I’m ready.”
(Akatsuki): “The familiar smell that I felt that day… was the smell of a god.”
She looked at me, shocked.
(Lilulana): “A god?!”
(Akatsuki): “Yes. Although it very faint, it’s still the smell of divine power. I suppose that your father is at least half-divine. Enough to let the same smell on you.”
(Lilulana): “… This reduce a lot of possibilities, and makes things much more dangerous.”
(Akatsuki): “That’s why I decided to train you. There are beasts that have divine power for any kind of reason, I even killed few before, and none of them had the smell of your father. Whoever he is, he isn’t from here.”
She kisses me again.
(Lilulana): “Thank you, Akatsuki. I really don’t want to, but I have to leave.”
(Akatsuki): “Don’t worry. If eve want to come and see me again, just send a telepathic message to Yukari. She will send you here. And when you find your father, bring him here so that I can give him a good beating for abandoning his cute daughter and wife.”
(Lilulana): “Hehe. I love when you talk with such manliness.”
We kissed again. After a few minutes making out, she dressed and went away. After she was gone, I dressed in some clothes that I had on my Kamui and walked on the water until I got to the barrier.
Extending my hand, my hand went through the barrier without a problem. It’s the effect of one of my skills.

Name:FreedomType:Spirit Art
Barriers, prisons, chains, magic, skill, nothing can stop you from having your freedom. Nothing can imprison you.
I can go out right now. I retract my hand and teleport back to my cave, far away deep in the continent. I will only go out when my friends come to this world. The reason for that is that I feel that I’m not nearly strong enough to face any god.
I will become stronger, reach the center of the continent and become the strongest dog around here. I want to be the hope of my friends, so I must be the strongest for it. I’m no hero, but I’m not cruel………

.
Anyway. Let’s kill something strong. I need to eat some cores.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
