Royal Road was popular.

So popular that many services have been moved into the game as it was quicker and more efficient to do so by gaining service to anyone who played the game.

As such it was not strange for certain occupation to appear in the game as well like lawyers or even marriage consolers, especially the latter with angry wives killing their cheating husbands in game instead of in real life.

It opened up a lot of opens for redemption.

Therefore it would not be strange for one blonde Caucasian beauty and one Asian beauty to be here together...even though they were both women(?) and that they were about to kill each other right now.

“Can Miss Alexandra and...Miss Eden?...go to the consoler now? It is your turn. The cost will be taken now as well” said the receptionist in a loud and clear voice causing several people to turn their heads to them.

Eden thought there were many wives that were more angry than before at their husbands when they caught them staring.

Both Eden and Alexandra walked over to the receptionist and handed over the 10 gold which was a minor cost compared to most things and went in the room where there was a middle age man with a modern scholar's look inside.

Closing the door, he directed them to sit down and said, “Please be seated, everything here will be confidential to just us here.”

“....” “....”

Eden and Alexandra looked at each other and sat on opposite seats without talking.

Eden could have sworn the consoler muttered, “This is going to take a while to solve” while he and Alexandra glared at each other.

“First of all Eden and Alexandra” said the consoler, “My name is Harry and know that I am here to help. Another thing is don't wreck my work office else you want to be fined quite a bit.”

“....” “....”

“Communication is key in understanding each other, as such talking is a perfect tool to do so” he continued, “As such, can you first tell me how long you two have been married?”

“Three years” answered Alexandra. Eden had no intentions of talking to her at all because of what she did...and what he feels.

“That is some time...usually couples have problems around 6-8 months within their marriage” said Harry looking at both of them. He then looked at Eden to answer as he asked, “Tell me, how did your relationship start.”

“....”

“This will get nowhere if you do not answer Eden.”

“I needed someone to party up with for a quest and Alexandra offered help. After that we travelled together.”

“I see, quite common for people to get together due to a simple act of partying together in this world. The act of saving another will often cause the one saved to hold feelings for the other...” Harry looked at Eden and Alexandra whom both held powerful presences even by just sitting down casually, “But I don't think this is the case with you two.”

“Now how long have you two known each other?”

“Around 50 years now” Alexandra answered this time. It seemed they were taking turns in answering questions here.

“50 years!” Harry calculated and that meant that both of them would have aged at least 12 years in real life. Due to the programming of the game, your in game character will age at the same rate as you in real life.

But Eden and Alexandra at best look at their very early twenties or even younger! Harry looked through the information the two wrote down before coming in this room. According to this, Alexandra was 31 years old while Eden was 29....he made sure to note not to mention Alexandra's age since....30 was the point you needed to be careful about those kinds of things.

However both of them looked at least 10 years younger than they actually were.

“....” “....”

As Harry thought about all of this, the two stared at him to get onto it already. With a cough Harry continued and then asked, “Now what seems to be the issue of your marriage Eden.”

“Why are you asking him?!” shouted Alexandra.

“And I thought we were taking turns in answering. Looks like that memo didn't get to you” said Eden in a mocking tone that almost made Alexandra punch him.

However his glare and her slight guilt stopped her from doing so.

“I repeat, what seems to be the issue here.”

Eden glared at Alexandra for a second before looking at Harry and said, “Suspicions on cheating.”

“Oh you know that isn't true at all!” Alexandra shouted again at Eden and he replied with, “As I said, suspicions and nothing more though it would be good to know that you weren't flirting with other people!” Eden raised his voice higher than he thought with the last words.

“Calm down both of you” said Harry quickly, “There is clearly some sort of misunderstanding between the two of you.”

“Not at all! This person does not want to look at reality!” said Alexandra.

“I agree though this person should really consider her actions before acting on it!” said Eden in the same tone.

Harry could have sworn that he saw the shadows of a dragon behind Eden and the shadows of a lion behind Alexandra. However that thought disappeared as he continued and said, “First I would like one of you to explain your side of the story to me with the other listening and not interrupting.”

“Agreed, I get to go first” “Fine, I get to go first.”

“....” “....”

Both Eden and Alexandra looked at each other irritated.

“Shall we flip a coin then?” Harry suggested, usually these things solved the issue of turn orders.

“Yes!” “No!”

Alexandra answered first hopeful while Eden did the opposite in despair.

“Flipping the coin it is...” said Harry taking out a coin ignoring Eden's protest. Harry gave Eden a word of advise which is, “You must go with the flow once in a while.”

“....”

Eden nodded grudgingly and said, “In that case, I will go first if the coin hits heads or tails.”

Harry was surprise since that meant it was near certain he would go first in his story then. He expected Alexandra to protest but found her grinning as she said, “Fine.”

Nodding to this outcome and thinking Eden would speak first, Harry flipped the coin.

“....” “....” “....”

Ans the results was that it landed on neither head or tails but the edge which surprised him heavily.

“You got to be kidding me...” Eden sighed looking down depressed.

However on the other side, Alexandra was happy and said, “As expected from your bad luck!”

Harry did not know what to say...the chances of this happening was near impossible especially when he chose the other option and him flipping it normally.

“Anyway...let us explore the story from Miss Alexandra's side first.”

“So can I summarise that some people approached you and you were only simply talking to them?” asked Harry in a polite tone. He had seen this type of thing before lots of times where one side of a couple gets angry due to this.

“More or less” replied Alexandra. Looking at her, Harry was sure that she got everything out...though the problem was the other side.

Eden looked pissed right now.

“Do you have anything to say about the story Alexandra told?” he asked Eden.

Eden nodded resisting the urge to shout everything out. In the end he said, “There are several points which she left out.”

“Such as?”

“Like the part she got drunk and started trashing the place for starters.”

“....”

Harry had no words for that.

“Or the part that she started lining up the guys that she thought looked good with force.”

“....”

Again Harry had no words for that.

“And finally the bit that really ticked me off, trying to take them home to do all sorts of things behind my back. If I wasn't there, what the hell would have happened?!”

Harry looked at Alexandra and said, “Miss Alexandra, I believe this is your fault.”

“Hey! You are also to blame, I mean you completely trashed the place even more and killed everyone there and caused us to be banned from the city!”

“....”

Strangely Harry had no words for Eden now.

“Plus you were drinking there as well after following me for no reason! You while drunk smashed down several people before you lashed out on me!”

“Like hell I was drunk! I was perfectly reasonable when I killed them!”

“....”

Once again, Harry had no words right now.

“Anyway why the hell were you following me?!” demanded Alexandra.

“Because I was damn worried you idiot! What do you think I felt to see you cheating behind my back!” Eden shouted slamming his hands on the table.

“Who the hell was cheating?! That was only damn flirting!”

“Why the hell were you flirting with other people then?!”

“Because you don't let me do it with you!”

“....” “....” “....”

The shouting match seemed to have stopped for now as Harry looked fearfully at both of them. They seemed to be breathing heavily but at the same time a bit calmer now.

“So basically...” said Eden, “The only reason was...me not giving you enough attention?”

“Yeah.”

Eden let out a depressingly long sigh hearing that answer and held his head with his hand.

“You could have asked me you know.”

“I gave you lots of hints!”

“Like what?”

“For one I made references that I was a bit lonely lots of times!”

“You mean about how Viv was gone for some reason?”

“Or the fact that I wanted you to take me out somewhere.”

“We did. You said you wanted to go hunting so we did.”

“And that I wanted you to eat my cooking!”

“I believe you asked me to taste your cooking and I said it was good. I even complimented you several times as well.”

“So did you see all the hints I gave you?”

“Not at all.”

Both Alexandra and Eden sighed at the same time. Harry was happy enough that his office wouldn't become a bloodbath with him being the first victim.

“I believe this session is over since your problem is solved” said Harry with a sigh of relief.

However as he got up both Eden and Alexandra stopped him and said, “Oh we're not done yet.”

“Yeah, there are a lot of other issues we need to solve.”

Harry felt some cold sweat from his back come out. He made a poker face and asked, “How many issues do you have?”

“Around a few dozen or so” said Eden thinking about it.

“And this will all process similar to the one that was just solved?” Harry asked.

Alexandra nodded and said, “Yep. Do you charge by the hour, each issue or just the session.”

Even though it was actually the latter and just the session, Harry said, “By the hour or otherwise each issue. The price will also increase by a bit each time as well to compensate with time being taken from other customers.”

If he was going to be fearful of his life, then he might as well make good money off it! 10 gold an hour or per issue was nothing compared to the fear he faced when the two shouted at each other with real killing intent.

This soon became a long day and then long night for the marriage consoler Harry even though in the end he made a few thousand gold from it.

He never wanted to see them again!

A few months later....

“Come in” said Harry.

Two figures, a blonde haired Caucasian s beauty and a black haired Asian beauty came in.

“It's been a while.”

Harry could only make his poker face while sweating out once again feeling this would be a long day.
