“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!”

Eden's blade was stuck in the chest of the God of the Dead, Hades. He was pouring more and more power into the sword that had the effect of sealing to take away the power of flames that this God had.

[Accursed Destroyer! Do you think this will be the end?! Even if you destroy me, you will have to kill more and more of my breathen even if they turned their backs on me!]

“Shut up and die already you damn freak!”

Eden increased the power of the sword once again causing the golden light that was spilling out like water to increase.

[Ahhhhhhh!!!! Die Destroyer!]

Hades with his bone hands gripped and grabbed Eden and started crushing him at the same time. As a being that was the size of a giant, this could easily be done. However Eden did not let go of the sword inside of Hades and supplied even more power into it.

'Not enough...I don't have enough power to kill him...need more power....more power!'

“Grrr....Chains of Heaven!”

Several chains appeared and wrapped themselves onto the sides of Hades' arms and started to pull. If Hades wanted to crush him then he would rip him apart literally!

[Fool! I will not even let a scrap of your soul survive this! Soul Devouring Flames!]

The Blue Flames that he had been working to suppress appeared again! Did he supply too much power elsewhere to that Hades can use it again?!

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”

Eden let out even more golden aura from his body and sent it all to kill Hades.

[AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!]

The Blue Flames continued to grow and conflicted with the golden aura that Eden sent.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

A burst of blue and golden light consumed the space. The explosion caused the death of countless beings in the underworld, if they were not killed then they were critically wounded by the shockwave the blast gave.

Seeing this, Eden dropped to the ground tired...it had been several years since...well since he was transported his forcefully. Was it 5 or 6 years since he started on this quest, fighting against undead and other nasties along the well to get stronger and stronger for this.

“I can finally see those two at last again...” he mumbled with a sigh of relief.

Alexandra will certainly complain on how he took so long...

Due to the effects of killing a Major God, Magic King Drive will move onto the next stage

Body and Mind has been processed into the state of a true Destroyer

“Ah...Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!” Eden wrapped his hands over his head. Something was....inside of him! It was...!

You will now be teleportated to the Mortal Realm

Teleportation is starting

“Damn...not now...what the hell....is happening...?!”

He felt like his body and mind was on fire...everything was going blank. Something...strange was happening to him...

Kill them....

Kill them all....

Will never forget....

Will not forgive....

Every last God and their pawns will be killed....

“Are you sure this is the location?” asked Viv who was with Alexandra. He had been asking this for a while now.

Alexandra sighed and said, “Yes this is the place, got a call from above that Eden is coming back. It has been 6 years...and I want to kick him for disappearing like that.” Alexandra made the motion and kicked some dirt off the ground.

“Yeah he could have logged off in those 6 years to meet up and talk...but he didn't or couldn't. Either way it was a good thing 'they' called you and told you where Eden was sent” said Viv in a calm voice.

“....”

The two looked into the sky for a while until cracks started to appear.

“He's coming!” said Alexandra excited. What should she do to him the moment he appears? Kick him, fly kick him?

Or maybe a hug...?

Crack! CRACK! CRACK!

A portion of the sky broke and a person fell through it. Geared in mostly black gear and that long black hair, it was definitely him.

“Eden!” she called as he dropped to the ground. He looked quite ragged though understandable. Alexandra ran up to him and was about to-

“Al stop!” shouted Viv.

Hearing this Alexandra immediately stopped seeing what he meant.

Bang!

Alexandra looked at the location of the explosion and found that it was caused by a fireball...and a large one...which came from Eden.

“Eden! What's going on?!” Alexandra shouted at Eden but there doesn't seem to be a response at all.

Eden was acting...strange right now. His eyes were unfocused and the feeling he was giving off was quite sharp, unlike the usual him.

[I to awaken am the Tyrant whom stole the throne of God]

“Eh?”

He started to chant for Magic King Drive for unknown reasons. But at the same time Alexandra knew that Eden was going to fight seriously now if he was going to use that. Did he want to fight her immediately upon seeing her?

“Eden?”

All of a sudden, several fireballs were formed and were fired at Alexandra-

“Shit!”

-Causing her to react and dodge.

Bang Bang Bang! BOOM!

“The hell?!”

Alexandra jumped back and drew her sword and prepared for battle. Even if it was Eden-no especially because it was Eden, she would not take any chances here.

[I devour the wisdom and rip apart the Knowledge]

Eden's hair turned into a silvery white colour and his pupils turned golden like a snake watching his prey. However his expression did not change at all as he continued to attack using magic attacks.

“Viv! Stop him” Alexandra shouted to Viv to do. Unfortunately she didn't have any skills that could capture and not kill...though she doubt those skills would kill him in the first place.

“Grow Roots!” Viv chanted while tapping his staff onto the ground.

Several large roots ripped forth from the ground and went to Eden to attack and bind him. However Eden easily dodged these in extreme speed and covered his body in flames to burn through them all.

“....”

Viv continued on producing more roots using his mana as a source and continued to battle Eden like that.

[I will become the Magic King that rules over all Creation]

“This is bad! If he completes the chant...! Sword Wave!” said Alexandra while sending a wave of energy from her sword at him.

BANG!

The attack hit Eden head on but it seemed to not have any effect on him at all. Even though Eden blocked it using his arm and the attack broke and snapped it back, Eden did not have a reaction to it and simply let it recover.

The usual Eden would at least complain about the pain.

[And I will show you true Despair!]

“Let the stars fall into dust and nothingness. Starfall Series Spell #3: Meteor Stream!” chanted Viv.

Viv created a black ball made of dark magic covered by red sparks coming out of it and fired it at Eden.

BAAAAAAAAAANNNNGGG!!!!

The ball hit Eden as he grabbed it using his hands-

“Wha?” Viv was shocked seeing this act. It would be normally impossible to do this since the spell would rip apart your hands if you even tried.

-And with brute force he crushed it as well.

“...!”

Both Alexandra and Viv immediately retreated seeing that. They needed to put distance between them and Eden.

[Magic King Drive!!!!!!!!]

With the chant complete, the golden aura around his body increased several fold. His hair and eyes changed colours and the tattoos all over his body appeared and started glowing golden as well.

However at the same time, golden chains appeared over his body and broke apart as well.

This was not the same Magic King Drive they knew in the past.

It was a bit different and Eden was a bit different as well.

“Golden Weapon Chain!” Eden shouted producing several dozen golden weapons into the air while firing them off at Alexandra.

“Holy Aura! Divine Beast Shift!” she quickly shouted covering her body in a pure white aura while powering up her body. She swing her sword several times breaking the golden weapons that were fired at her and using her aura to block any attacks she could not.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang....!

“Need to bind him at least...” she muttered while thinking of the spell she would use and chanted, “Oh Holy Light, let thy punish this Sinner. The Chains of Judgement come and begone as the call of the end begins. Through night and day, does thou seek the damned and drag them from the Heavens, Chains of Icarus!”

Several beams of light shot out from Alexandra and wrapped themselves onto Eden and onto the ground at the same time. The spell was a success at least, it would take a while for him to break out of that.

Eden stopped and looked at her....and turned his hand into a Dragon Claw.

“Al! Dodge!”

“Huh?”

Eden with his claw hand ripped through the bindings and charged straight at her. His body blurred as he went faster and faster.

“Crusader Sprint!” she quickly shouted this and doubled her speed as well.

Slash!

She dodged the first attack that was a simple stab but his attack twisted and changed direction and went straight at her again and forced her to block. After that, Eden did a roundhouse kick while in mid air and attacking at the same time at her which sent her flying away.

Bang!

However at the same time Alexandra blocked the attack with her sword.

“Al!” Viv shouted seeing that Eden did something while attacking Alexandra at the same time.

Alexandra shouted back, “Viv, don't come here! He's-!”

“Flame Pillar!” said Eden.

Looking down on the ground, Alexandra realised that Eden spread his mana in the ground to now quickly use this spell faster than she could react and escape.

“Compressed Light Warrior!” she shouted producing another layer of armour on her.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

She survived the attack with near no damage but her vision was blocked due to the flames and dust all over the place. She wondered if Eden wasn't going to attack and say it was all a joke...

In that moment of doubt Eden appeared above her and did a dive kick on her which penetrated her Holy Aura, the Light Warrior Armour and her actual armour to hit her stomach dead on.

Critical Hit!

“Ack! Cough!”

Alexandra spat out blood due to the damage he caused

“Damn you!”

But at the same time she grabbed his leg and slammed him into the ground.

Bang!

Getting up she gathered her Holy Aura and poured it in her sword before smashing that down at him as well.

“Impact Strike!”

BANG!

But once again Eden grabbed the attack wit his hands that were now dragonified. With a growl several magic projectiles were formed around him. Fireballs, Ice Bolts, Lightning Spears were formed around him.

“Uh oh...”

“Crimson Spear that rejects the heavens! Starfall Series Spell #7 Longinus Strike!”

A single red black spear formed in the air and shot down at Eden stabbing him through the chest at the moment he fired the magical attacks at Alexandra causing it to misfire in all directions. But at the same time, Eden kicked Alexandra off of him and retreated a bit.

His appearance was becoming more and more wild but at the same time his fighting style was getting more refined, more focused on the kill.

“Why does it seem like he is targeting me?” Alexandra wondered thinking about it now. He had not even payed attention to Viv here.

“Did you do something to piss him off recently?” asked Viv. That question really made sense right now but they couldn't even contact him in 6 years.

“Umm...a lot in the past? I think we need to administers some shock to snap him out of it” said Alexandra thinking of a way to get Eden back to normal.

“Any ideas?” Viv asked again. From the looks of it, it seems Eden fell through quite deep in these 6 years to not recognise them and even attack them.

“Yeah...one. And I don't like it.” She really did not want to do that...since that would probably one of the only things that could shock Eden that she could think of now...

Plus Viv might tease her later thanks to this...

“Well hurry up else he will end up killing us instead” Viv started a series of spells, mostly setting up magical traps to stop Eden if he runs away or attacks them.

At the same time as this, Eden started chanting something as well.

“I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you!” he repeated over and over again while looking at Alexandra.

“And his mind officially snapped...didn't know he hated me that much” sighed Alexandra.

“Yeah...Al, better get on that idea to snap him out of that...” Viv advised.

“....Can you stop him for a few seconds?” she asked him.

“....Maybe” he replied back gripping his staff and gathering the mana in his body and putting it into his staff. Viv stepped forward against Eden who was turning more and more into his dragon form.

Right now only his arms and legs were dragonified but soon enough the rest of his body would and then...large dragon form which would be a real pain to deal with.

“Dark Arrows!” Viv raised his hand and fired several 'Dark Arrows' at Eden.

At the same time he chanted, “Hatred of the Besieged flows through the air, in the rivers and in the depths of the tainted grounds. Curse of Chains!”

All of a sudden, a number of cold hands popped out from the ground like a horror movie and started grabbing onto Eden after he dodged the Dark Arrows that were heading his way.

“I said to shock him not me Viv...” Alexandra muttered while sighing, he had to use that spell of all things. She thought she and Eden in the past, many times told him to never use that spell...

“Viv, doubt that can trap him...considering he's isn't even afraid of them right now” said Alexandra.

“Already got it Al. Gravity Bind. Astral Lock. Binding Roots!”

Viv used those three spells quickly in a row skipping the chants to them. Even though the spells were a bit weaker, stacked together they were a lot stronger together in that short amount of time.

Increased gravity, chains locking the legs to the ground and roots that wrapped around the body along with countless hands dragging him to the ground forced Eden to a stop. However at the same time Eden was resisting the spells as well with sheer force.

“Damn that high magic resistance....” Alexandra could not help but sigh seeing Eden...now that she thought about it, most of the time she sighed was due to Eden.

“Al! Do it now! You only have a few seconds!” he shouted to Alexandra.

“Right!” said Alexandra though at the same moment, Eden started casting spells all over the place and were randomly firing them at Alexandra.

As such the longest 5 seconds of Alexandra's life started with her shouting, “Blood Destruction!” causing her body to glow red and the marks on her body to glow that same colour as well.

And when she reached Eden....

She tightly wrapped her arms around him and kissed him...and stuck her tongue in and rotated it in there just in case.

“Mmmph!” Eden let out that reaction with his eyes opening wide in shock.

Seeing this reaction and the fact she wasn't filled with holes right now she continued for a good another 15 seconds before Eden fainted in her arms.

“Mmmppphmmmphmm................................”

His hair went back to black, his eyes as well and the tattoo all over his body stopped glowing and disappeared quickly as well.

With this battle done...and Eden unconscious, Viv walked over with an astonished look on his face as he said, “Al you...”

Alexandra nodded with a sigh once again due to Eden and replied, “That was the one thing that I knew for certain that would shock Eden...and looking at your face, you too.”

Viv averted his eyes and said, “Yeah...didn't think you would....”

“Hopefully he will not remember anything about it when he wakes” she said with Viv nodding in agreement.

Some time later....

Eden woke up and felt the warm and soft feeling of a bed. Shooting straight up and hit something with his head.

“Ow!” “Ow!”

He opened his eyes and realised it was Alexandra's head that he bumped into. Without knowing it, he hugged her happy to just see her.

“Okay....” said Alexandra with her hands up as Eden let go of her, “It's been a while.”

“Yeah...” Eden smiled, “I must have lost conciousness when I was teleported. How did you find me?”

“Got the location beforehand” she replied but then took a moment to ask, “You don't...remember what happened after you were teleported?”

Eden shook his head and said, “Nope. Did anything happen?”

“....”

Alexandra made a stern look and was about to tell him something but decided not to. He did not need to know how strange he was acting, how he tried to kill her and especially not that they had their first kiss due to that.

It was only later on...when Eden returned to that state that he remembered all of this. It was also then that he knew the dark secrets of truly being a Destroyer...but that is another story.
