《Fracture: Tales of the Broken Lands》Chapter Delay and Poll
Advertisement
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that tonight's chapter will be delayed until tomorrow. A stomach bug and time constraints have made writing hard over the last couple of days. That said, I'll have the chapter out tomorrow, sick or not.
On a separate note, I figured now would be a good time to question what everyone would like to see from the story in the future. I have the Terras story arc's end in sight (there's still a bit to go) and plans for future story arcs but the next arc isn't set in stone. Jack has had a lot of time to think about what he would do if he ever obtained a designation and there are a multitude of plans just waiting to be put into action once he has enough power and influence from revenge to independence.
To this end, I've included a poll up above with some possibilities. If you have any other requests, concerns, or ideas, leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, I've been hiding it from everyone on RoyalRoad for a while now but I'm actually publishing a book soon. It's a cultivation novel with a story based on the Epic of Gilgamesh told from the perspective of Enkidu. Here's the synopsis if you're interested.
Long ago, the Gods bestowed the divine arts upon all creatures, so that they might better themselves.
In the Maro Province, the Du clan undergoes its annual ceremony, the Ritual of Waking. The ritual awakens the spirits of the young so that they might practice the divine arts gifted by the gods. Du Enkai dreams of cultivating the divine arts and becoming a great warrior like his father. However, after undergoing the Ritual of Waking, he is met with a startling revelation. He is Forsaken, born with a corrupted spirit and cursed by the gods. Afraid and confused, Enkai must accompany his father away from the life he has always known in the hopes that his accursed soul can be restored.
