《Beast Dao Cultivator》Chapter 19

Throughout the day, Ning traveled to several villages with the other two. Besides the first two villages there was no sign of Infernal Energy because of the time that had passed.
When Rinrin came out of the Medical garden she began to talk about how Bo Rei was really mysterious. She changed the entire format of the medical garden moving the mountains and land around forming land bridges and then she even made them pure one element mountains meaning they specialize in just element.
Rinrin had gone to the mountain of water energy and found that there were many beautiful water lakes all around and at the time was a spirit water spring which was extremely beneficial to those who train with water element. She in particular focuses on ice which falls under the water element.
When she bathed in the water it felt like she was immersed in energy and was very nice.
She had actually wanted to sit down and refine the Medical garden and see the difference it would cause now. The original size was 120 acres but now it decreased to around 100 since that extra bit was used to make the stable land bridges.
Ning thought about it and they decided to do one quick refining together and after looking around a bit they found a good secure spot in the woods with a cavern and entered it. Ning had a few candles and after lighting it up he told Huo Su to guard the entrance while the two of them began refining.
After half an hour they were done and they both went to check the results and it was very satisfactory. The two mountains reacted extremely well to the wind and water element which was part of the two’s Dao Beast collection. They had regained a bit of height and the elemental properties around them were gathering more fiercely. Rain had begun to fall over the water mountain while it had reached 100 meters again while the base was almost 60 meters wide with several dozen water basins and waterfall.
The wind mountain reached 35 meters high but similarly the base became nearly 50 meters wide and the winds became fiercer and had begun to smooth the stones. It was still possible to fly around but it was much harder under the wind but they didn’t find it bad. Instead these places were slowly becoming training grounds. Under these kinds of winds or submerged under the growing waterfalls they could train to understand the Natural laws pertaining to these elements.
Now the space for herbs is what really changed. From the still usable 100 acres it instantly exploded to 200 acres. This is because besides ‘just’ the islands expanding the land bridges expanded and greatly. They were previously 3 meters wide and 4 meters deep. Now the previously small land bridge expanded to nearly 30 meters. Most likely the most natural form for the land is a circle so putting it off would unbalance the structure and under the refining effects the weakest areas that formed will rapidly strengthen.
The space between the two bridges also began to close up to form an empty land mass in the middle and it was clear that this method of creating space was indeed very good. If land exists and they have the correct element Dao Beast to supply the specific element then the medical garden will grow extensively.
Still from the growth it would grow several dozen times faster than the gardens of the elders.
When they were finished they exited and returned to Tian village and met with the other four.

“So did you guys find anything?” Ning asked them.
“Just ruins.” Guo Tian said. “And you?” He asked.
“We found that there was Infernal Energy around the nearest towns, I felt the energy and would be able to point out someone if I felt a similar aura from them.” Ning said.
They were a bit surprised but after Rinrin confirmed it they remembered that the pair possessed Demon Beasts which probably helped them to find that.
They returned to the residents but several times Ning would look towards a few people and his brow would raise as he saw the people of the town work as if there wasn’t a worry anymore doing normal things.

“Sect master, it seems they found some evidence of the activity.” A black robed man said kneeling.
“Don’t worry, they would never find out.” An aged voice said while over him was a black robe with red trips showing his higher status. “You may leave, maintain watch over them.” He said.
The figure stood, bowed and left leaving the old one alone. “So what do you think?” he said.
“Haha! The gods are good to me! These are the people I have wanted to kill since a long time. The brown long haired one with the Tiger Fish, “he is mine to kill and the brat following him is mine. The others you can kill.” The voice said.
“But how are we to fight them? The leading figure isn’t something even I can easily fight.” The old man said.
After a moment of silence a small bottle with pills appeared. “This is Twelve devil pills. It can temporarily clog the twelve main meridians at the entrance of the dantian. The weaker the person the harder and longer it will take to unclog the meridians. To Riders, it's even more disastrous because it will go to all their beasts.” The voice said. “These pills have no smell, taste or even medical aura. They simple need to be placed into a pot of tea and feed it to them.” The voice said.
“These are quite impressive pills, such a great and esteemed senior has benefited us so much. We shall surely put the blood essence of these people to good use.” The old man bowed.
“You better, I would prefer not to show myself unless necessary or until after everything is finished.” the voice said.
“Of course, we shall do what is needed.” the old man said taking the bottle
The voice did not reply and the old man left.

At night the Tian clan had invited Ning and the others to a feast. A few of them, including Bo Shi, wanted to go because he was indeed hungry. Someone of a high cultivation would have reacted the, ‘state where one does not need to eat’ but these children were far from it. That said even if a few wanted to eat, Ning simply had the servants in his Medical garden prepare some food and he brought it out for them.
The following days continued but they could not find any more evidence and so they went to the places where people had begun to disappear but equally there was nothing.
On the fourth day the clan head had invited them to drink tea and after a small debate, Dai Ran decided to go and fearing the worst the others went.
“I am glad you have accepted to drink tea with this old man. It gives this old man so much face to drink with such esteemed guests. Come, please enjoy this old man’s best 50 year Soothing Herb leaf tea.” He said.

The servants poured a cup for each of them but as soon as Ning’s cup started to be filled something unexpected.
HISS!
Zero suddenly hissed and unlatched his tail from Ning’s neck and suddenly crawled up his arm and tail whipped the cup before he smashed the tea pot sending it into the wall. He hissed at the servant and the old man.
“Boy, control that beast! You have lost face of the sect for not controlling that thing.” Dai Ran suddenly said coldly.
Ning didn’t reply but when he looked at Zero he saw that in his clear eyes Ning just rubbed his head and let him wrap around his neck again. “I don’t think he did anything wrong. He smelled something strange about the tea and protected me.” Ning said.
“Insolent! If your beast reacted why didn’t the others?” Dai Ran said sneering
“Of course, it isn’t because the ‘smell’ is the common thing. Whatever it was held the aura of Infernal Energy which Magic and Profound Beasts cannot pick up.” Ning said.
He looked at Rinrin who nodded and gestured Huo Su to hand over her tea and was soon as the cup was in her hand, the eyes of the little harpy and ape glared at it and when it was half way they both attacked slamming the cup away from her hand.
She simply took a small handkerchief and cleaned her hands before returning to a graceful sitting pose next to Ning.
The room was quiet and they were looking at the clan master. He smiled and called a maid and poured a cup of tea for himself and took the previous cups before putting the new tea. He took his tea and drank it as it was. “If there was something in the tea I do not know but this old man drinks and toast the ability of the esteemed guests.” He said.
Dai Ran looked at them all who had yet to touch the cup. “Drink your tea and do not lose more face for the sect!” He said sneering.
A discreet smile appeared on the clan head’s face.
The others looked at Ning and Rinrin and as soon as the touched the cup they hissed and growled and they let go. “I’m not drinking.” Rinrin said and simpled sat their. Ning as well also let go.
The others looked at each other and didn’t move, comparing the relationship between them and Dai Ran, they would obviously trust Ning more.
“I shall make sure to inform of this lost of face to the sect. I shall not punish you all now due to the mission but be prepared.” He said and coldly took the cup and drank it quickly.
All six of them stood up and Ning waved for his brother to be prepared since he was the weakest. All the while the Clan head was smiling and Dai Ran only glared at them. “See! There is nothing wrong.” He roared. “NOW SIT AND DRINK!”
The six ignore him, their lives were many times more important than listening to a self destructive order from a close minded senior.
“Indeed, there is nothing wrong, yet. ‘Esteemed’ guest, may I suggest you try to cycle your mana.” The clan head said.
Dai Ran looked at him strangely but as soon as he began his mana suddenly caught something and before he could stop it stopped just before entering his dantian and he paled. In a matter of seconds all twelve meridians were clogged and the suddenly blocking of the passage caused his body to reel in pain and he coughed up a mouthful of blood.
“Y-you!”
“Finally the biggest nuisance is out of the way. It was such an irritating situation with having to kiss up to you brat’s.” Tian Wu said with the same smile he had before but there was a cold killing intent in his voice.
“Since you finally showed your true colors I can also tell the others how perfectly similar your aura is to all the residual Infernal Energy we found floating around the nearby cities.” Ning said.
Tian Wu’s face turned a bit more serious. “Yes, those demon beasts are quite a pain. Thankfully they are even more useful than you all put together so I must thank you for bringing them.” He said and suddenly his aura became slowly more demonic. It rapidly rises until it hit the Initial of Demon Core Formation stage. “Treasures to hide your cultivation are quite good aren’t they. Just a little trinket can disguise the energy type and level making it even stronger or weaker.” He said as he carefully took of a pair of golden rings on his fingers.
“So it was a Devil cultivator after all. I was wondering why this shitty excuse for a town had not been targeted even after all the surrounding villages were. It seems the citizens of this town are all in it with them.” Rinrin said. The next moment her grin turned extremely fierce, “That means…. There are over 1000 Devil cultivators full of Infernal Energy here. Hehehe!” She laughed.
“Stop joking and help me you worthless fools!” Dai Ran shouted as he tried to move but found that his body movements were sluggish.
“Harvest what you sow you trash, you think we will protect you at this point? Save yourself, you looked down on us and you think we will protect you now?” She said glaring coldly at Dai Ran. “Ning! If we get our Demon Beasts to eat up the old bones of all these shitty people it would be like feeding them 1000 Ungraded Infernal Energy stones full of energy.” She said with her eyes sparkling.
Her words caused the old man to turn red in rage. “YOU LITTLE INSOLENT BRAT!” He roared and at that moment the doors burst open and the son’s of Tian Wu came in all of them at the later stages of the Demon Essence stage followed by the servants who were at the Infernal Gathering stage.
Rinrin’s eyes were shining brightly and she was grinning. Slowly her and the six other began to release their aura. A mix of Qi and Demon Essence and Infernal Energy mixed together in the bodies of these people. When the energy of all these six children peaked 14 Dao Beasts jumped off them snarling.
The eyes of the people showed shock. “Leave no one alive!” Rinrin roared and shot right at Tian Wu and Ning was right behind her. Their Dao Beasts suddenly grew a quarter of their full size and as if six wolves jumping into a flock of sheep they began to wreak havok.
“Huo Su! Protect my brother!” Ning shouted.
As he did so he began to dance and move strangely as his swords waved erratically. The wind began to pick up and his moves were very strange like a fish swimming in water. As for Rinrin, she was moving brutally and coldly appearing and disappearing in a blur.
“You are unworthy!” Shouted the several son’s of Tian Wu.
They jumped out and the eyes of the two sharpened and glowed bright red. “Out of our way.” Rinrin said.
Her sword swung and a cold beam of Demon Essence burst forth. These men punched out or swung their weapons shooting out black Demon Essence which crashed into her own but as soon as it made contact they broke apart against the infinitely thick Demon Essence born from the Dao Couple cultivation between her and Ning.
“What!?” They shouted but suddenly Ning appeared and his eyes flashed as his two swords fell down also possessing a cold intent but mixed in was also a free flowing wind Qi mixed in and when he swung down a funnel formed in front of Rinrin’s slash and he struck down forming two more slash pushing it along and once the three mixed the power intensified and the speed suddenly increased by several times and a tailwind form and a shock wave came out. The slash pierced through two of the four directly in front and to the fear of the people around them the slash wound was completely frozen over.
The upper torso was even alive because he wasn’t bleeding out but the simple appearance of a shouting but still alive upper torso with a frozen bottom could easily leave mental scars on weak willed people.
At this time the sound of raging could be heard from behind. Tora, Tyrant, Kala, Talie, Rela, the steel horned rhino, Guo Tian’s, eagle was flying around but only now did Ning and the others see his other beasts. On was zipping around at lightning speed and it was a Lightning Serpent and the other was a Winged Salamander.
As for Ru Lei, her beasts were a Black Lightning Lion Profound Beast, a Fire Bird Magic Beast while her final beast wasn’t out.
Huo Su had her Fire Python and Winged Tiger around them staring at the nearby people ready to attack.
After taking a look Ning didn’t pay attention anymore as he saw Rinrin jump at Tian Wu but was once more blocked, “Worthless ant! BEGONE!” She roared.
Two of the strongest were gone and Rinrin attacked again and took out another of the Tian Wu’s son’s.
“You little brat! When I get you, I will make you cry for killing my son.” Tian Wu said. With a wave of his hand, a powerful wind pressure burst out but Rinrin just stopped her movement and sneered before she performed the same movement and with less than half her power and she sent out an even more powerful wind.
BANG!
The two pressures impacted and caused the weak servants to be blown back and the really weak ones were bleeding from their ears and were coughing blood.
“Weak.” Rinrin sneered and swung her blade casually but behind this was 100% of her strength meant to maim the man. It also contained her knowledge of ice and wind from her two Demons Beasts. It caused the sword blade to feel like an unending demonic blizzard.
The old man sneered and suddenly he lifted his fingers and a small flame appeared and he swung it forward and a powerful fire burst out.
“Demon flame!” Rinrin’s eyes narrowed as she saw the two energies impact but as she probed the flames she found that it wasn’t. Instead the old man had made it appear to be by calling up a flame on his fingers and shooting it. Instead this old fool just had some understanding of the Natural Law of Fire and made use of clever tricks to try and pressure them.
Upon realizing this she grinned, “Old fool, you really think this princess is someone naive and stupid don’t you!? Your stupid little trick is nothing to this princess. Let me show you what a Qi flame is like! Ning.” She said and looked back.
He nodded before sheathing one of his swords and lifted his right index and middle finger together while balling the other three and suddenly a small wisp of a flame appeared.
“HA! You call that a Qi flame!? That is only a small fart that caught fire!” He roared laughing.
Ning didn’t pay attention and simply pointed forward. The next moment the entire area went silent as the small flame shot out.
BOOM!
Half the building was blown up and the old man was thrown back. All the servants were sent flying while burning and and half dead. The stronger ones had been able to dodge but they were still sent flying.
Tian Wu on the other hand was standing up with bloodshot eyes. His body was half burnt because his Demon Essence had taken the brunt of the impact but he was now bleeding and in immense pain.
Suddenly a blur appeared and Rinrin flashed in front of him with her blade in mid cut. “Die old bastard!”
“I can’t let you do that!” A voice suddenly said and from behind Rinrin a hand grabbed her arm and suddenly flipped her and threw her all the way back to the house and Ning moved to catch her.
When they looked, they saw a figure that was covered in black robes and they narrowed their eyes when they saw him. Unlike Tian Wu, this figure, who had a mixed aura of Initial Demon Core formation and Initial Xiantian. The foundation was solid unlike what secular people can achieve and the voice sounded young. This was proven true by the fact that he had young hands which showed through the robe. Even so his figure was large and muscular.
From inside the robe five beasts appeared. A Blue snake, a Blue bat, a sharp scaled red lizard, a small leopard and a brown bull.
“Dao Beasts.” Rinrin said. “That is a Jade Water Snake, a Demon Ice Bat, a Fire Drake, a Wind Leopard and a Earth Bull. They are all at power equal to Xiantian, two Demons and three Profound Beasts.” Rinrin said.
“That lineup! Guo Wein you bastard is this your doing!” Guo Tian suddenly shouted.
“Guo Wein?!” Ning shouted in shock. The image of the large axe coming down on him made him slowly fill with rage. That feeling of not having control of his life was something he did not like.
A snort came from the cloaked figure and he slowly removed the cloak. Underneath was indeed Guo Wein and he was sneering. “Since you all found me out it seems I can’t let you live any longer. Well the men at least, I will use you girls as my three cultivating catalysts. That way I can slowly drain you of your Yin Qi and improve my Fire Drake the most!” He said.
“Oh? The drake huh? You know Guo Wein, you're the person who perfectly fits the phrase, ‘trash that shat on a diamond’. You’re failure of a Rider couldn’t even kindle the spark of dragon flame from the breakthrough that occurred when he broke into the Demon Essence stage.” Guo Tian laughed.
“Kindle a flame?” Ning said in shock and looked at Rinrin.
“Creatures with dragonblood form a spark of dragonflame when they reach the realm equal to Houtain. That is Liquid mana, Houtian and Demon Essence realms. It is a once in a lifetime chance and it is required the flame so that the dragon’s bloodline starts to awaken or else its potential is limited. Sparking a second flame is like wanting to scale the heavens and only a second dragon flame can spark one.” Rinrin said.
“Why didn’t you say so?” He whispered not revealing the fact that he had a Frost Drake.
“I would have helped you through Dao Couple cultivation to suppress it. We could have refined our flames as well and improve them with some traces of dragon flame together while drastically improving but if you knew you would have jumped the gun.” She said.
Ning nodded understanding. Dragon flame is considered a treasure among treasures and are regarded as some of the strongest flames with the best potential for growth. A new flame is relatively weak but it compared to common flames that are just sparked it is at least 5 times more powerful. Also they already come with an elemental property so Zero would form an Ice element Demon Dragon flame. Unlike Qi flames it can’t be used for refining common pills but if he learned how to make some kind of demon pill he would need it.
Also he could refine his own flames to make them part dragon flame so it would be an overall improvement not to mention other effects it could have.
Guo Wein glared at Tian as veins popped out in his anger.
“Tian, I have always wanted to kill you you know. That smart ass way you walk around in. You a talent of only green color isn’t much better then the bitches I have fucked in my bed.” He said.
“I pity them having to cultivate with trash like you, being held back so much.” Guo Tian shook his head and said in a mocking tone.
“Boy, I do not care what you have with them but let us fight together. The little brat bitch you want is beyond me who was raised in the secular world. I do not possess your resources so only you can hold them back. I shall deal with that brat while you suppress her and kill the others.” Tian Wu said.
“Fine. You five, suppress the beasts, kill the weak ones and stop the rampage of the strong ones.” He ordered the five beasts.
Unlike Ning and the others, he had long since purchased Rider equipment that allows him to remain connected for over a kilometer away. Ning and Rinrin had refined their equipment and had a max of 250 meters of distance from themselves but it is nothing compared to a true higher quality equipment.
They all roared and spread out. As for the Fire Drake, it rushed to attack Guo Tian and its body was releasing smoke from the heat but it is unlike a true fire Drake whose body would burn like an inferno.
Guo Wein jumped and ran at Rinrin with his axe and she quickly jumped out of Ning’s arms and they both split. Suddenly the old man ran and appeared before Ning. He was using his natural speed gained through cultivation because he lacked a true movement technique for demon cultivators.
“Brat! Die for me!” He roared and punched. The fist wind was bursting with energy but Ning suddenly did something unexpected and casually jumped to the side and some kind of mysterious force seem to pushed him along completely dodging the fist. “Die!” Tian Wu roared and turned after missing and punched Ning.
He simply side stepped again and once more his body casually floated out of the way. This was the best feature of the ‘Sky Fish Sky River Ascension’ which Ning had reached the 3rd level. With the use of the Natural Law of Wind and the unique flexible body he had gained he can glide along turbulent winds created by the attacks of enemies.
After dodging three punches the old man was about to attack again when the ground began to vibrate intensely and Ning quickly jumped high into the air.
MOOOO! BANG!
From behind Ning, a red eyed Tyrant came hurdling out of the hall and right at the old man. He had saliva dripping in rage and he was snorting while his body seemed to be enlarged as he was completely enraged. Like a moving mountain it rushed headlong into the body of the old man who didn’t have time to attack and instead mobilized his Demon Essence and grabbed the horns of the bull.
It is easily known that the body of beasts are two times stronger than humans of the same or equal realm and for strength type beast that doubles once more. Tyrant on the other hand is a Titan Bull that has luckily trained one of the body refining skills unique to his race’s inherent memories turned into a profound martial art. This caused his body to be even stronger then to common wild Titan Bull. Currently his strength was indeed very easy to contend against a secular world Xiantian realm expert and that is what happened.
He slammed into the old man who almost coughed blood once more but swallowed it down incurring some internal injuries. Even so Tyrant kept pushing and feeling the filthy hands of the man on his prized horns he completely lost himself in his rage and his horns and legs burst into flames burning the old man's hands. He only stopped when he slammed head first into the rising hills behind the Tian clan house and even then he still pushed almost his body length.
Finally he pulled back and crushed the earth blocking his exit. Once Tyrant escaped from the earth he saw Ning making him excited. He trotted over and began to rub his massive head on Ning before he heard a loud snort.
When the two looked over they saw the Earth Bull snort and glaring at Tyrant. It was several meter taller and longer then Tyrant and clearly looked down on it. This caused Tyrant to be infuriated to no end and quickly headbutted Ning out of the way and roared. The Earth Bull snorted in disdain as it lowered its head simply and waited for Tyrant.
Suddenly Tyrant began to cycle his Qi to the ‘Titan Bull Titan body’ and his muscles seem to expand a bit becoming harder, stronger and his speed accelerated. Fire burst from his legs creating even more speed and his hard skin began to turn into rock and the horns began to shine as Qi gathered in them.
BOOM! Crack!
The two met head long and to anyone watching they saw an amazing sight as the massive Earth Bull was suddenly pushed back. Not only that but it was under so much force that the sound of a crack was clear and the left horn had broken off. Ning’s eyes shined at a chance to insult Guo Wein and quickly flashed over to the horn and transported it into his medical garden with a smile.
As for the bull itself eventually it stopped Tyrant’s charge but the eyes were vacant and it collapsed from the impact. It wasn’t dead but it’s head had taken a massive amount of damage that even surpassed the capability of it’s bones. Even Tyrant was a bit dizzy but thanks to his level 6 mastery of his body refining skill his muscles and skin took a large amount of the blunt force he had dished out. Both Ning and Tyrant were at the 6th level which was to completely refine the organs and following it was the bones. The both used potent medical baths to aid in this or else it would be impossible to do.
As for the other bull, just from that one hit you can tell it wasn’t a powerful creature. If it truly had a good potential, or a better Rider, it would have had a body refining art to train and could have survived that instead of just using its body and Qi to try and suppress the well trained Tyrant.
“Brat… you caused this…” A hoarse voice called out behind his back. Ning looked back slowly and found Tian Wu with a sword in hand lifted up. “Pay with your life!” He said.
At this time a large white tail suddenly flashed and slammed on the old man’s shoulder.
Crack!
The sound of cracking as his shoulder gave out followed by a hoarse pained roar was heard by all. Just as Ning was about to move he saw Zero suddenly expand with his scales withdrawn and before anyone could react his jaws closed around Tian Wu.
Snap!
Closing his jaw with a snape, only the head and from the knees down was left out of his jaws but he was dead already.
The neck had been pierced and Zero pulled back and opened his jaws and tossed the corpse up and snapped it shut as he ate it with a relishing expression.
“Where were you?” Ning narrowed his eyes.
Zero looked at him and then looked towards the town. Ning followed his eyes and what he saw was that most of the surrounding space around the Tian clan home covered in ice and lots of blood all around. That said there were no bodies. This was explained by the bulging belly on Zero and the satisfied expression on his face which explained everything.
He had snuck out after the servants came in and went on a killing spree eating the town’s people because they were all part of it and now they were gathering. In other words he was making sure the town populace knew that they were found out and now they were gathering at a very quick pace.
Ning glared at Zero because of what he did, “We will talk about this later. There is one big meal for you.” Ning said and pointed at the Fire Drake.
As soon as Zero’s eyes met the body of the Drake he sneered and growled. He was clearly looking down on the Drake, one with unwoken bloodline was a pathetic being not worthy of being called a dragon.
In dragon society, dragons who fail to spark their flame are killed because they are a shame upon the bloodline of dragons.
Also when he saw that the Fire Drake was making a move on Kala who was fighting back but had several bloody scars his eyes turned bloodshot. He had quite a good relationship with Rinrin, he liked her because of her demon like presence, and so he also liked the beasts of the girl. He growled deeply, his energy was roiling in his body and the bloated belly rapidly shrank and suddenly be launched from his spot.
ROAR!
Releasing a loud roar of challenge the Fire Drake froze and look at Zero and suddenly licked its lips as if it had seen something tasty. It let go of Kala and rushed at Zero.
HISS!
They roared and suddenly all of Zero’s scales suddenly jutted out turning from a lizard appearance to a full blown Frost Drake and it jumped up as the Fire Drake jumped impacting mid air.
What was amazing was that this Peak Infernal Gathering Drake suddenly landed on top of the Fire Drake.
This wasn’t because he was stronger, he was smarter. The Flame Drake never got the bloodline intelligence boost and neither had Zero but he was instinctively sneakier due to his element. Frost Drake are more towards stealth which is how he killed Tian Wu.
In this impact he had clawed the jaw of the Fire Drake using his own jumping power and weight to cause the dumb as an animal Fire Drake who was a brute force variant to be stupidly flipped on it’s back. Following its instinctive one hit one kill nature, Infernal Energy gathered in his fangs and he hit down on the exposed neck and piercing the unprotected neck blood suddenly gushed out.
Just like how the Earth Bull had done, the Fire Drake had underestimated the ‘weak’ Frost Drake and hadn’t even raised its Demon Essence to defend.
“NO!” Roared Guo Wein as he saw the situation the Fire Drake had landed in. “You stupid animal! FIGHT!” He roared.
He forced the beast to mobilize its fire element Demon Essence to melt the much weaker ice element but already the entire throat was frozen and had turned into ice and Zero grinned as his jaw tightened and broke that massive chunk of meat ripping the throat open while holding the head down.
“NO! I WILL KILL YOU!” Guo Wein roared as he kicked Rinrin away.
He rushed at Zero to cut his head off but a sudden wind came and he suddenly saw a sword appear and he quickly swung his axe impacting it.
His momentum instantly stopped and he found Ning in front of him.
“You! It’s always you! First it was my bitch! Now my beasts! I will slaughter you and have you take all these trash beasts with you!” He roared and jumped at Ning.
Unlike the first time he found this massive body like that of a clown. The movement technique was very poorly trained and there was no technique to the axe attack, it was just Qi and Demon Essence gathered to attack. Even if he did attack with a technique, it wouldn’t hit because he was slow.
Ning shifted his weight over and let the wind take him while his body danced and suddenly his swords flourished and the wrist and elbow were cut causing blood to gush out.
“This is for almost killing me.” Ning said.
Then he vanished and appeared behind Guo Wein while both his swords were on the boy’s neck. “And this is for attacking my WIFE.” Ning said and an extremely low volume.
With a flash he turned around and walked away.
The still living beasts that had been bound to Guo Wein suddenly froze where they were and in mid combat they felt a pang of pain. Slowly they looked at their master and after a moment their visions went black and their bodies collapsed.
This was one of the truth’s of being a Dao Beast, when a beast dies, only the Dao Seed is destroyed and some damage to the meridians connected could happen, but if the Rider dies all the Dao Beasts bound them him or her will die with them. It is this reason that the beasts will always possess an instinctive protective trait to them towards the Rider. Of course this will persist only if the Rider himself treats them well. If they are abused and ignored they will wish for death and be many times less protective and in some cases will lash out at the Rider.
As his head fell the last large danger was gone.
With the danger gone they led the Dao Beasts outside and began to kill each and every person tied to this scheme completely destroying the city while the demon beasts constantly ate the corpses.
Only when they could no longer find a single person with the spiritual sense that they finally returned to the destroyed house and let the beasts eat Guo Wein’s beasts.
The fire drake Zero rapidly zoned in and dragged away and feasted on it himself and ate everything especially the demon core and as soon as the last bit entered his stomach he quickly walked back happily but as he got within 10 meters of Ning he froze. The next second he let out a pain filled roar.
“What! Whats going on!?” Huo Su suddenly said I shock.
Everyone looked and Ning’s eyes widened.
“He is breaking through to Demon essence refining stage!” Ning shouted.
“Oh god! It’s starting. As soon as he properly breaks through it will begin the Dragon Flame Sparking tribulation.” Rinrin said.
“You guys need to go somewhere safe!” Guo Tian said.
“Ning, let's enter the garden, it's extremely safe there.” Rinrin said.
“Alright, we will go, you all keep guard especially against him.” Ning pointed towards the meditating Dai Ran. His face momentarily twitched when he heard this but he was concentrating.
“Come on, he can’t delay any more time!” Rinrin said and with a nod, all six Dao beasts and the two riders retreated into the medical garden.
