《Beast Dao Cultivator》Chapter 8

An hour after having left the Quarry, the convoy of carts reached the one and only half way camp set up by the sect to allow the disciples. After they reached this point they found a place to leave the cart and rapidly undid the harness on the beasts or simply ran towards the cold river shores to drink clean water.
Ning was obviously among them and having lived in the wild for 2 years before coming, he was quite open and after undoing the harness on Tyrant he led him.
Very unlike the other disciples that filled their canteens Ning did a much simpler method and after letting Tyrant walk and go drink for himself he simply bent over and dunked his head under water cooling his face while taking a big gulp and pulling his head out and laughing. “Ah so fresh and cool!”
He really wished there weren’t girls here because if not because of them he would have probably stripped and jumped inside the river to cool and clean his body
A snort came from nearby “Such an uncivil creature. Were you raised in the wild?” The cold voice drew eyes as it did for Ning to see who it was and was surprised to find it was Zhao Rinrin.
“Actually the last two years I did train in the wild. Eventually the sect will probably have everyone travel so what is the problem?” Ning asked confused.
“It’s vulgar, the way you act.” she replied.
Ning scowled before getting up and crossing his arms, “What is vulgar about enjoying the feeling of flowing water? Or have you never jumped and played around in a river before?” Ning said frowning at her.
Her jaw dropped and her brows slightly creased as she got up, “What is so good about playing in water? Only commoner children play in this. As a daughter of the Zhao family I am above this.” She replied.
Ning snorted, “A child is a child no matter where they were born. I was born in a low ranked clan, called trash since I was 3 and even than I played around like I'm supposed to while also training when I could. So what if your form a large clan? I'm actually glad I was born in a low ranked family because I still have my mother and grandmother to watch over me instead of push me to act like grown adults when I should be enjoying myself.” Ning said before taking out his canteen, filling it and turning and leaving.
Everyone was completely stunned by the boy who spoke with the princess of the Zhao family in such a tone. What was even more startling was that the same icy beauty was also stunned before her face turned into a scowl and her cheeks turned red with anger.
“You little brat! You think you're above me! This princess, I, have had one of the highest backing and protectors. I have the best resources and my cultivation is half the effort and double the result because of the pointers I get from the elders. How can someone so little compare to this princess.” She shouted.
Ning stopped in his footsteps and looked back at her with cold eyes, “If you're so great than why aren’t you helping your Dao Beast pull the cart?” Ning said. “Dao Beast’s aren’t pets or slave animals, they are your companions that will live and die with you and for you. You treat them like pets, even if you are a princess you still should have respect for your Dao Beasts at least.” Ning said coldly before turning and not turning around.

Tyrant huffed and affectionately nudging him as it had understood what he said. He pet the large bull’s head as they walked away.
No one could reply but some people did look at her strangely after this and quietly walked away after drinking the cool stream water and went to meditate for a short while and get into their best condition before the convoy moved on.
Rinrin didn’t change the way she pulled the cart even after this and she was even colder than before because of what he said.
Like that they all pressed on after resting and after another hour they reached the city once more and found the deposit near the entrance which saved time. Each of them handed over their ID card and the number of carriage pulled was recorded and as Ning came out, Tora was already at full size waiting for him so he quickly mounted but at that time a few girls his age or younger appeared.
“Um… disciple brother, I wonder if you could help us return to the Quarry? It takes almost an hour of running.” They asked
Ning looked at them in surprise and looked at Tora. He remembered Tora had some difficulty to take him and his mother previously but now he is in the Initial Houtian so his strength rose many fold and his size increased by half a meter.
He looked at Tora and after thinking for a while he raised three fingers. “Tora has strength and space to carry 3 extra people.” He said.
In the group there were at least twice that. The people looked at each other and talked a bit and very quickly the three youngest walked up, “These are our younger sisters, please take them ahead. We will even pay you if you want.” The older ones said.
“No need, I can take them.” He said and waved for Tora to lower to the ground before helping the three girls up and told them to hug the back of the one in front and sat in the front and told the one in front to do the same before he had Tora go.
The reason he allowed three people is because all of them were children. Two or even three of them would equal the same weight as his mother who was a fully formed adult. Also four people was as far as Tora could sit on his back without restricting the movement of his tail which he uses to beat the air when he starts to slow down.
Like that, with a bit less speed, they arrived in 25 minutes and it wasn’t just Ning doing this. People with flying mounts or fast land beasts also provided transport but some people were more arrogant and didn’t do so or charge a somewhat high price.
People like Ning that didn’t do that got a bit more admiration from the disciples he helped and after landing he helped the girls he were a bit tremble but from excitement.
The wind funnel had some profound knowledge they didn’t know how to describe and Ning had activated his Sky Fish Sky River Ascension which, when used by Tora, made him literally swim through the air like a fish. He used the wind in a very skillful manner and Ning was also paying great attention to what was going on so that he could obtain inspiration. That said although he was only level 2 with initial mastery of it the jade slip had said, ‘Level 2: By reaching peak of this level one can feel the winds and move like Sky fish in the flight. Speed improves by 15% and improves body flexibility allowing for many erratic movements.’ In other words Tora was already starting to move more like a Sky Fish instead of a simple flying fish.

After Ning had arrived it took around half an hour before the rest of all the people that were part of the convoy to arrive and the carts and carriages were also being prepared during that time and soon everyone once more started off and two and a half hours later only Ning and a few others returned.
It was already almost night because when Ning started it was already almost noon so others had already taken one cart before him.
The remaining ones were few in number and this made Ning sigh as he strapped up Tyrant. He finally had to concede to strapping up Tora but was surprised that the flying fish casually pulled the carriage and he finally realized he had gravely underestimated the strength of a Houtian Rank Dao Beast. More importantly his own Dao Beast which had cultivated in a three way path during the hatching of Tyrant and had its body completely washed by Earth element Qi which refined its muscles making them firmer and more powerful.
It even dragged Tyrant with its strength so Ning removed Tyrant and found that Tora was still able to casually pull the carriage but couldn’t fly with it, yet.
“How could I forget, master Lu said that Tora improved strength to a small degree. It isn’t a pure wind Speed type but a Wind, speed strength type beast because of the slight Tiger Beast blood in him.” Ning shook his head and made Tyrant shrink before picking him up and sitting on the cart. Tyrant was only 5 kilos and even pulling the carriage Tora could cover the distance in an hour and a half at a very startling speed.
Ning left behind the convoy because of the speed and in 45 minutes reached the camp and allowed Tora to rest before they left and reached the deposit finishing their daily job and received 20 contribution points as payment.
This caused Ning to be happy as he now had 500 points again. He had used 15 points for the rented room at the Martial hall and 1 point for 100 kilos of spirit grass while 4 points were used for 100 kilos of meat for Tora.
Both were the lowest quality food types but even so after all was said and done he had regained his points and was quite satisfied. He had advanced quite a bit in his ‘Titan Bull Titan Body’ and began refining his muscles again.
With this he was finally done but the man at the deposit said that he should do his job during the morning before noon and the rest of the day would be open for them.
Ning thanked him for the advice and climbed on Tora before flying home to meditate on what he experienced today and get some rest.
Within half an hour he finally reached his compound after the sun had already set but the sect wouldn’t be a high ranking sect if it didn’t have resources. All around there were lamp posts which help up and funneled mana into a unique crystal orb. This is a unique orb made from refining a magic ore known as Glowstone and as long as mana is injected into it the stone will release a light. After refining and removing the ‘stone’ it became a Glow orb producing incomparably clear light.
The mechanism of this lamp post turns on after the sun sets and turns off when it rises. The light can light up a space of 5 meters so every lamp is spaced out every 10 meters. It isn’t to overbearing of a light so it does not affect those sleeping.
The houses also have similar lights which are controlled switches allowing one to touch a specific magic circle near the door to allow the mana to flow through it and reach the glow orb.
As Ning arrived at home he found his mother sitting at the door meditating. As soon as he walked in her eyes gently opened and she smiled.
“So how was it?” She asked.
Ning smiled wryly and walked over and hugged her before sitting down and telling her everything that happened.
“Mother, do you know about the Zhao clan?” He asked after saying he met Zhao Rinrin and although the man at the store had told him some about it being a noble clan of the sect he did not really understand much about that.
“The Zhao clan is one of the three clans that was allied with the Geo Royal Family before they became royalty. They were a low ranking family but they gained fame when Riders were born in their family and they discovered how to find these people. Making contracts with caretakers they expanded their number gaining Dao Beast eggs for their clan. Of course their growth was very equal to the growth of the other clans and the Royal family had the best potential. Still their family eventually rose up with the Royal family. The Zhao clan possesses the best potential for birthing generals and army personnel. They are usually the highest ranking officers in the royal army and they even have their own battalion which protects the Royal family directly. Their prestige is second to none in the nation and neither of the other clans will dare claim 1st in ranking if the Zhao clan say they are second.” She said.
“So they are really important and I made fun of her.” Ning sighed.
Bo Rei giggled and pat her son on the head, “It’s nothing sweetie, the reason she is in the outer sect is because after a certain age they will take all special privileges from their children and send them to the bottom so they can temper themselves. Besides protecting from certain death most of the time they only monitor others around their people. To them all she had with you is a child's fight.” She laughed.
Ning somewhat laughed and asked what she was doing all day and glint appeared in her eye as she put her hand into her robe and pulled out a piece of parchment and handed it to Ning.
It was folded so he opened it up and the first words to enter his view were, ‘Systematic resource purchase for highest level of development’
Ning was confused by these words but as soon as he looked down he figured out what it meant.
‘Purchase strength type High Success Houtian potential Dao Beast for one of maids and have them aid Ning with daily job. 500 points
Get basic common ranked Dao Beast cultivation method for maid, 50 points
Purchase pills for body refining, Skin and muscle Tempering Pill, 150 points, Organ tempering, 450, bone cleansing 1000, Marrow washing 5000, Pulse Condensing Pill 1500
Purchase personal space Medical garden 5 acre 50 points, 10 acres 100 points…
Purchase Low Grade Common rank pill cauldron 100 points.
Purchase Spirit grass seeds, 50 points for 10 kilo of seed and other profound herb seeds, 100 and up.
Purchase a weapon (need to test Ning to see his most compatible weapon)
Common feed per month, average 30 day (100 kilo of spirit food lasts for 5 days) 6 points + (100 kilo of meat last for 10 days) 12 points = 18 points monthly for low grade feed + soon to purchase maid Dao Beast, average 25 per month’
“Hehe, mother requests that you go to the equipment hall and get the Personal medical garden and seeds for mother. I can plant and grow the feed for your little beasts that eat vegetables and any other herb you come across.” She said.
“Mother… how do you know all the prices?” Ning asked.
“I simply asked the butlers. They are quite knowledgeable and skilled in what they are asked to do.” She said.
Ning looked at the list again, “What use is a medical garden?” Ning asked.
“Heh, I have my uses.” She smiled.
Ning looked at her for a very long moment than asked what has been on his mind for a long time, “Does it involve mothers family that you left behind?”
Her face instantly showed shock but she could see the clear eyes of the boy and sighed, “It’s something I learned from them yes. A few martial arts to slowly refine Profound treasures improving them. As long as you get a few materials you can slowly improve them a bit or use a specific type of martial arts that will let you just Qi to refine them. There are countless treasures that can be improved and can be considered ‘incomplete’ after being produced.” She said.
Ning didn’t say much for a long time, “Can mother tell me about your family? At least the name?” He asked.
She was silent and looked up at the crescent moon hanging over them. The stars twinkled brightly filling the sky like a light show. Only after a long time she looked down and found the boy hadn’t once moved his gaze from her and she sighed, “If there comes a day when you wish to drop the name Bo, you can take your mama’s previous name. I come from the clan surname Yi. If you ever find the chance to rise beyond this mundane sect and see the true world outside of this oh so small nation you will eventually learn who a Yi is.” She said and hugged him affectionately.
“What was mother's name before?” Ning asked.
“You will know when it is your time to know.” She said and paused for a long time before she put her hand behind her neck and unclipped a necklace with a very beautiful pendant which was a raw blue gemstone held on by some unknown metal. She put it around Ning’s neck, “If ever you meet a Yi and they cause trouble for you, simply show them this pendant and you will be safe.” She said and kissed his forehead. “Now go take a bath and change out of those dirty robes and go meditate before going to bed. Tomorrow I will wake you up at sunrise so that you can go do the daily job.” She said.
Ning nodded and got up before heading inside.
Bo Rei smiled but after he was gone her face turned solemn and she looked up at the moon before closing her eyes. The rays of moonlight slowly seem to gather around her and enter her body and a subtle but powerful and dense aura came from her body unlike any Initial Xiantian should have.
***
The following week proceeded calmly. Following Bo Rei’s instructions, Ning purchased a 5 acre personal medical herb garden for 50 points and 10 kilo of spirit grass seeds for another 50 points, along with several seeds of common rank profound herbs but nothing above small packs of 20 seeds each costing 20 points each and he purchased 10 different herbs meaning 200 points. In total he used up 300 contribution points purchasing these basic things his mother required and handed them over for her to do as she would.
The personal medical garden is a strange personal space item made by a Xiantian and above treasure refiner who studies the natural laws of Space. The outer look of this garden looks like a plant pot with a weak glowing aura and once the place begins growing plants a sprout will appear and slowly grow into a tree. These kinds of items also need to be placed in places with high levels of energy. They cannot maintain their own energy supply making them low grade.
Of course that didn’t matter to his mother because after he had finished his daily job and purchased these things, she took him into a short closed doors cultivation and taught him how to refine an item. Refined treasures can be stored inside the body of a Qi cultivator and the size can be easily manipulated like a sword shrinking and storing in the dantian or in this case, a personal garden.
The reason she had him do it is because she wanted him to learn to tend to the herbs so that when he goes to adventure he will know how to do this.
Another thing that began after a few days was that there was two free day where all outer disciples are to go to one of the schools set up by the sect. The reason being is because this was a school to teach them about Rider knowledge. Not only that but general history of the nation and the surrounding nations as well as the much larger sects. The subjects after that involve, Herbology, Biology, Ecology, and for the Riders, classes involve how to tend to your beasts, team combat with the Dao Beasts, how to tap into the innate abilities of the Dao Beasts, and several other important subjects.
These two days are spent almost entirely in the school to make sure the sect disciples properly learn the ways to maintain their beasts while common disciples learn how to do the jobs properly. The classes that most interested the students were the ones that brought the money and in this case, Alchemy or Pill refining, Magic blacksmithing or Treasure refining, Magic Runemaster or Spirit Runemaster.
Each job has a corresponding job but there is a very large lack of Demon type jobs because only Demon run sects will possess the knowledge of this but the sect does possess methods to train Infernal Energy.
Truthfully, if Ning knew that all the information he had gained from the Wind Dragon was turned in after recording them in books, he would be extremely rich in contribution points because of the degree of knowledge and heritage for Riders. No caretaker has the same heritage although some might be similar. They always gain cultivation arts corresponding with the creatures in the surrounding areas.
For Ning, although he has the ‘Titan Bull Titan Body’ body refining art to cultivate Tyrant’s Qi refining stage he delved into his memory and came up with the cultivation known as ‘Bovine Beast Calf Qi Refining Art’ as for Tora, after entering the Houtian stage, he had changed the cultivation of Qi refining to Houtain which is called ‘Carnivorous Flying Fish Houtian Cultivating Art’.
They each follow a clear path to cultivate the creatures and these are all formed from Inherit memories turned into cultivation manuals. By using them in corresponding beasts it can draw out their potential to the best of its ability as long as resource is put into it.
Currently Ning was pulling the carriage with Tyrant, the past several days he had gained 20 contribution points for each day of work and this was his 5th day of work not counting the two school days. As he finished pulling the final cart, which had become somewhat easier as he and Tyrant advanced through the second level of the ‘Titan Bull Titan Body’.
Just as he thanked the worker at the deposit and exited he met with someone he didn’t expect to see so soon.
“Hey! It’s the trash fart!” a familiar and annoying voice.
Ning looked over and what he found was a bit surprising. Jing Ran and Jing Ru were both looking at him with rage boiling in their eyes and walking with them is the dark haired boy he had raced.
“Bo Ning you trash! We finally meet and look at you! Are you a fart or a cow now?!” Jing Ran roared laughing.
Both of them wore clothing of outer sect disciples since they were accepted for having Yellow colored innate talent.
“You all know each other?” the boy asked coldly.
“Boss, this is the trash we talked about who left school after the school ranking two years ago and showed up for the sect test.” Jing Ran said pointing at Ning.
“Boss? So you two are now lackey of someone else now?” Ning said with some apparent humor in his voice since they were always the ones who had the lackey doing their bidding.
“Don’t laugh you trash!” Jing Ran began but he suddenly felt a deadly aura behind him and looked at the black haired boy.
“Tell me why you keep calling him trash?” The black haired boy said.
“It's because when I was 3 years old they found out I had no Dantian. At the time no one knew about the Rider constitution so I became Deo Cities biggest trash.” Ning said.
The raged boiled in the black haired boy as he glared at the Jing Ran, “So that means you also look down on I, your grandfather, for not having a dantian as well?” He said.
Having a massive pride he went above and beyond in rage as he felt the two lackey he had recruited were looking down on him now.
“That isn’t it boss, we consider that boy trash, he never cultivated until two years back. We never knew until now and we have great grievances against him. He once beat us unconscious.” Jing Ru said.
“Why don’t you tell him how you also threw me off a cliff a week before that?” Ning said adding fuel to the fire.
“You two let us go.” The black haired boy said coldly and glared at Ning, “I still don’t admit to losing to you or that low class shade bat idiot. I will outclass all of you in a very little time.” he said and coldly turned.
“Did someone say something about my Rex?” a familiar cheerful voice said appearing behind the black haired boy.
“Oh brother Meng, its been awhile.” Ning said.
“Hehe brother Ning sure looks to be going through flourishing times.” Meng Bei said grinning and looked at the black haired boy.
“Guo Tian, want to test who is faster again?” He smiled innocently but there was a hint of mischief in his eyes.
“Hmph, just for you to cheat with your magic tricks again, no thanks. If you want a real speed contest then I will take you on any day but no magic tricks.” He said.
Saying that he side steps the brown haired cheerful boy.
The Jing brothers walked at the boy and as they walked pass him they bumped into him on purpose and sneering at him.
Ning looked at the two as if seeing clowns while shaking his head at them.
“Well those two were…” Meng Bei muttered shaking his head.
“Idiots?” Ning asked.
“Frogs in a well.” Bei said.
Ning chuckled, “Aren’t we all? No matter how high you go there is someone above you.” Ning said.
Meng Bei laughed, “True especially when you count the higher realms.” He said and looked down at Nings feet. His eyes shone fiercely, “This is a Titan Bull isn’t it!? What level of strength is it? The horns aren’t grown, could it be only Qi refining?” he asked.
“It was the Dao Beast I got as an entrance gift from the sect.” He said.
“Oh cool, I got this.” he said and suddenly in his hand appeared a small turtle no bigger than his palm. The shell was a creamy yellow color like a yellow jade and it was very smooth and hard. The skin felt like rock skin and after the head stuck up Ning saw it as a type of snapping turtle. “Careful not to put your finger in the way of his mouth because the bite is strong.” Meng Bei said.
“It looks sturdy, what do you do for a job?” Ning asked.
“I was assigned to find the hidden herbs on the outer herbal mountains for the alchemy and pill refining hall. I'm still regarded quite low on the ladder of success there and can only gather the herbs but thanks to the classes I am able to identify the low grade ones at least.” He said.
Ning sighed, “I’m a brick puller.” he said and laughed wryly.
“Hehehe, at least that will help make you a girl magnet. You know rumors have been going around that you have some kind of relationship to the Zhao clan outer sect princess Zhao Rinrin. Come on, tell me what do you have with her?” He asked with a mischievous, and even somewhat lewd, grin.
“That girl is annoying.” Ning outright and bluntly blew up Meng Bei’s expectation. He than explained why and how all the times he interacted with her what had happened and the brown haired boy's jaw was open. Soon he began to laugh, “So you got the stone faced Little Devil princess to show that much emotion. Oh man I can’t imagine how much she will provoke you from now on. Has she done anything?” He asked a bit expectant.
Ning thought for a while before shaking his head. “Nothing. Not that I can tie something to her.”
At this moment the roar of a large ape caused people to move out of the way as the large Snow Demon Ape walked through the street. On the carriage it pulled Zhao Rinrin was sitting and as she saw Ning she frowned and looked the other way irritated.
“Wow. I didn’t expect her to be that grouchy.” Meng Bei said loudly.
Before Ning could stop him the girl had heard that and turned her head rapidly. “Who dares insult this princess!?” She said. Her eyes landed on Ning and seem to glow as she jumped down and landed in front of Ning. “You said it didn’t you!? I heard it come from your direction!” She shouted in anger.
“No! It wasn’t me it was hi…” Ning pointed behind him but Meng Bei had long since vanished into the crowd and this caused Ning’s back to be covered in cold sweat and even his forehead was sweating as he slowly turned back. In his mind Ning was roar, “MENG BEI! I WILL GET YOU FOR THIS!”
Zhao Rinrin narrowed her eyes but soon a sinister grin appeared on her face and this gave Ning a very foreboding feeling because it really looked like the devil's grin at this moment.
“I wasn’t the one who said that! It was Meng Bei.” Ning said.
“I don’t know who that is but I do remember a face next to you but it's gone so it can only be you who insulted this princess.” She said overbearingly.
This caused Ning to frown greatly and his previously innocent expression changed into one of great offense since he really was innocent. “And just because you said I was the one I am guilty? Even if your from the Zhao clan you're still in the outer sect and are just the same rank as us so who said you can judge someone on your word only. I didn’t say and so what proof do you have that I said it?” Ning glared at her.
The change from scared to oppressive was so sudden that she herself was caught off guard.
“WHO DARES YELL AT MY RINRIN!?” an extremely arrogant shout came from behind.
At once Rinrin’s face turned into a scowl while Ning had a confused expression and both of them turned to look at who was talking and what they found was a tall man who was already an adult and quite muscular. He wore white robes with shining gold trims while the robe itself had designs of several powerful beasts on it. The white with gold trim was part of the inner sect’s uniform while the design showed he was a Rider.
He sneered at Ning, “Brat, you sure have some balls to talk with my Rinrin like that. If it wasn’t because you were an outer sect disciple I would have killed your trash beasts and crippled your cultivation by now.” he said looking down greatly at Ning.
“Who are you calling yours Guo Wein. A bastard trash grade Rider like you still has the guts to dream of this princess. You’re even more intolerable than this skinny peasant.” She said.
“Oh please, what kind of person has more right to be your Dao Companion than me? All the rest are too low talent or their cultivation is restricted and also there aren’t many more Demon Dao Beast cultivators of high enough quality so what is the point in arguing against the inevitable?” He said with a teasing tone.
“Trash, know your place. A frog who covets swan meat will definitely be butchered by this princess personally.” she said grinning.
The face of the man turns into a solemn one, “I hold the power to be your companion and also the compatibility in my Dao Beast as well. Or would you go with some skinny monkey like this?” He pointed to Ning.
“It’s better getting an irritating fool with a Yellow innate talent than to be forced onto a servant with only red color innate talent who got lucky to advance to the inner sect. I do not want to waste my time on someone who will have his limit stuck at the Dao Sprout causing my cultivation to stagnate as well.” She said brutally.
The man’s eyes burned with rage as he glared at her than turned to Ning. “If you like trash like this so much! Let me show you what happens to them when someone gets in my way!” He roared and a large battle axe which seemed to shine with a mysterious glow appeared in his hand and it was swung to fast to react at Ning.
CLANG! BANG!
A shriek of metal on metal sounded and suddenly a sound of something exploding was heard. In an instant the large body of Guo Wein was sent flying by a kick to his side after his axe was blocked.
Standing in front of everyone was a young man that looked similar age to the massive man and looked very fit and wore the same inner sect robe but over these robes was a simpler one and on his back was written the words, ‘Hall of Law Enforcement’.
“Guo Wein, you can insult and shout but raising a weapon against a disciple of the same sect is against the law of the sect. Do you really want to be punished that badly?” He said coldly.
His long black hair was was tied in a low pony tail unlike Ning who had a high one.
Guo Wein had been kicked fiercely and was sent sprawling on the ground five meters away and was coughing a lot before looking up and sneering, “Miya Li, how dare you hit me?” He said with a ragged voice.
“How dare I? You were almost about to kill a young promising Rider disciple brother because you are a meat head who only thinks with his dick and dreams of fame and glory without working for it. Someone with such a shallow foundation and little disciple like you brings shame to my Geo Royal family sect.” he said. “Now get up or else I will drag you to the Law Enforcement Hall to explain what you were planning on doing.” he narrowed his eyes.
Guo Wein was almost spewing fire in rage. Slowly he got up before he grinned and walked over picking up his dropped weapon and looked at Ning, “Watch out brat. You better not let me catch you outside of the sect.” He said.
The man turns around to look at the two children.
“Senior brother, thank you for saving this one's life.” Ning said almost instantly.
“It’s no problem, its our job to make sure this kind of thing doesn’t happen. Still, what happened to make Guo Wein so angry? I only saw the last little bit and not the enter thing.” He said.
Ning pointed at Zhao Rinrin, “This dull headed girl get provoking that meat head saying stuff like calling him a servant and trash and he kept saying he was the only one that could partner up with her and she said she would even… wait did you actually say something like you would take even a peasant as a partner?” Ning asked her.
“Who are you calling dull headed!? And this princess would never allow such a vulgar stupid looking peasant like you be this princess’s partner much less her servant who carries this princess’s shoes.” She replied.
The two glared at each other but what was spoken from Ning’s lips left the senior sweating cold. He was wondering if the little boy knew who he was talking to and if he knew what was coming out of his lips.
“You should apologize to me now and go talk with that guy to make him ignore me! You're causing problems for me making him think I have any interest in you.” Ning said.
Ning could see trouble when it was staring him in the face when that guy had attacked him out of nowhere. If he left it like this, he wouldn’t know how he died if he ever found himself alone.
“Ah please calm down, this will just lead to problems in the future. Junior brother, since you were attacked I will need you to give a testimony of it for the Law Enforcement to register this incident and use it against Guo Wein. Junior Sister Zhao, you are also part of this so we also need your cooperation in this.” He asked gently considering who he was talking to.
The angry look on the girl didn’t dissipate but she turned around, “Let me finish this delivery and get my job done first, I will follow after.” She said grumpy.
As soon as she left into the building the Law Enforcement sighed and looked at the boy next to him, “Junior brother…”
“Bo Ning, how should I refer to senior brother?” Ning asked.
“I am Miya Li, you can call me Senior Li. Junior brother Ning, do you know who that young girl is?” He asked.
“Yes? An annoying girl who is causing me a lot of trouble.” Ning said bluntly.
“I don’t mean that, do you know who she is?” Miya Li asked again.
“Oh, Zhao Rinrin, I think someone said she is a really talented person from the Zhao clan.” Ning said.
“Exactly, the way you are treating her, one of the people from the highest ranking rider’s clan as a rider, it is like closing all your doors before they open.” He said.
“But… this is the outer sect. I heard from my mother that the three noble clans send their children to the outer sect to temper them without giving them real privileges. If it's like that, even if she is from the Zhao clan, why do I need to act differently towards someone of the same status?” Ning asked completely innocently. Than Ning blinked a few times and frowned, “Senior said you were surname Miya? Does that mean you are from the Noble Miya clan?” Ning asked.
“I’m from a branch family, not the main branch.” He said.
At this time Zhao Rinrin walked out with a frown while her little ape was on her back. “Fine lets go. And lowly peasant. About calling me a grumpy person. As an apology you will be my servant dog from now on!” She said.
“Dog! You’re dreaming you dull headed girl. You caused me even more problems so you should apologize.” Ning argued back and the two sent glares at each other causing sparks to fly.
“Lets just go to the Law Enforcement Hall and get this done with and then you can deal with your problem there as well.” Miya Li said.
The two children pouted before following after him while Zhao Rinrin tried to be in front of Ning but he would frown and speed up to be either equal to or in front of her causing her to be furious and start another round of arguments.
Finally they reached the hall and after half an hour doing the recount of everything from when their previous argument started to when Guo Wein appeared and his attack was spoken the children were finally let out and the large man was sent into 1 year of isolated cultivation.
As for the ‘apology’ the two kept butting heads to the point that one of the servants protecting Zhao Rinrin had to come out and tell the girl that she needed to go cultivate for her to break off the argument and allow Ning to go his own way as well.

Circumventing Fate
When Lei Xing booked a luxurious cruise as a graduation present to herself, she expected to have plenty of well-deserved rest and relaxation with an ocean view before jumpstarting her career. What she did not expect was to be the unlucky person who would fall overboard to a miserable watery death… or so she thought. To her astonishment, she opened her eyes to find herself in an ancient setting, a different body, and a new life as the eldest daughter of a high court official. {...Okay, at least I'm rich...I can still live happily and freely, it's still a golden opportunity at a second life. I can live it well~...maybe go travelling, start a business, or something…It definitely could be worse...} To Lei Xing’s horror, her new host was scheduled to enter the palace to compete in the concubine selection for the new Emperor. {...What?! I am definitely not interested! Of all places, it’s that viper pit! I’m not built for any Royal BS or harem fights. Please keep your scheming lives to yourselves and leave me the hell out of it, NOT INTERESTED!!!... Can I not go, please? T_T)...No? Nevermind then, failure is always an option... Failure is the only possible outcome. Bring it on! Hahahaha…} While Lei Xing was making plans on how to skip out of town, fate was also very busy working out its own plans for her, mapping out its own course for her life behind the scenes... Poking holes in her plans to her confusion and outrage. "...Little chicken, as long as I'm alive you won't die." "Nonsense, if anyone is going to cause my death, it would be you!!" *** "Do you really feel nothing after all this time?" He asked as he looked at her with searching eyes, trying to see into her soul... "...Who...would..." she mumbled under her breath... *** "That stupid old man, I'm going to end him when I find him...You better hide well!!" |||~~~~~~~~~~~||| Author's Note~~ Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the read as you go along! 8 62Innocence: Exiled Prince
Victor Lawson; a son of a King. Quite a scandalous King, but over the years, he had proved his own worth to the people that he ruled not with force but with words. Yet, this story isn’t about The King. It’s about his son; a Prince in a frozen land, a noble-born with a pedigree as clear as the driven snow. The boy had everything; wealth, title, inheritance to the whole kingdom. Everything that could make his life of lavish luxury and comfort. Or at least it was promised to him, a promise he believed because he is the only heir to his father’s crown. Such abundance came with its own problems and restrictions. To him at least, it made daily life drowned out by the mundane and the inane obedience of others. Yet a few people make to his life, temporarily filling that void. Hope was something he had; If only he could break this mundane loop he called life. A harmless wish of youth, he believed at first. Or so he wanted to believe until he met a...
8 191Black Butler X Reader Oneshots
[NOT ACCEPTING REQUESTS]* Okay, let's face it: BLACK BUTLER CHARACTERS ARE HOT AS HELL. And hey, almost none are married or otherwise engaged, so would it really be a crime to take one~? Are you a fan of one of the Devil Six? Do you perhaps prefer anime exclusive characters? Or, maybe, you like the least popular ladies or gentlemen of the series.Who do you choose?-I do not own Black Butler or the characters within it (naturally, you do not belong to me either). I only own the stories within, thank you-
