AN: Early release ^^
Nova comes back next Sunday ^^
With Nova storming out Marc completely forgot about the matter of Claire taking his items away. His brows furrowed slightly as he continued to look at the distance for a while longer, but in the end he did not follow after the witch. Right now he owed Mersa an explanation before everything, plus how could he suddenly abandon Celina at this moment?
He turned back to look straight at the giant M-God before him.
[Marc: Is that all, Comander Claire?]
[Claire: … Yes, at ease. Sergeant Celina, Private Marc, dismissed.]
After studying his expression for a while Claire was satisfied. On his face she could find a trace of guilt that he was currently suppressing and that convinced her that he was was worth her trust. Although he was definitely dangerous, it was only in terms of amount of destruction that he can potentially cause, his character was not a danger in itself.
[Marc: *Nod* Za, come.]
[Celina: Ah! Yes! *Salute*]
After giving Claire a last glance he jumped off the white platform, and Celina quickly followed flying off after him.
The height was not that high, thus he had no problems reaching the ground, and in just several dash-like steps he appeared before Mersa, and before he could say anything she stepped up and gave him a big hug.
[Mersa: I know Vor-chan, save it before audience.]
She whispered. Mersa’s womanly intuition was not lacking in any aspect, what’s more she was mentally prepared for this for quite a time now. To say that it did not affect her at all it would be a lie, a sight of him with Celina did make her hold back her breath and her heart slightly throbbed, but it was quickly dispelled with that hug.
That’s right, she could still hug him all she wanted and more. She did not lose anything. It was exactly as Ana-nee explained. Having Marc all to herself was too selfish. Furthermore she could only imagine how painful it must have been for both Nova and Celina...
[Mersa: I’m so glad that you two are safe! It’s all done. Let’s go back!]
She said aloud with a genuine smile and then grabbed Marc’s and Celina’s arms activated her photons and quickly flew off towards the distance.
From Celina’s point of view everything was going too fast.
Out of nowhere those strange feelings came over her and she just could not help herself but to jump towards her source of safety to escape those dreadful emotions of alienation. And when she came back to reality she was tightly clutching Vorst’s arm like there was no tomorrow.
Then there was Nova that abruptly left, clearly filled with rage. That caused uneasiness to completely fill her. The heavy reality of the situation finally hit her making her dizzy. It was like a cold water poured over her to wake her up from that wonderful dream. Then.
[Marc: Za, Come.]
Come. Come. Come, he said. She met his gaze and his green pupils deeply digged into hers. He said to Come and who was she to refuse him? She did not remember anything else, just following after him, because by following him let her stay by his side for a little longer…
Mersa appeared. Camellia Mersa. Celina suddenly felt as if someone put her insides into a mixer and turned it on MAX. How can she explain this to the wolf girl?
Then unexpectedly Mersa did not get angry, but grabbed her by arm and led into their house.

Mersa’s and Vorst’s house.
What was going on?!!!!
The spectating crowd that was left behind was completely speechless.
Then like a bubble that was burst open uproar was immediately raised. They all were comprised mostly of young women after all.
Furthermore there were barely any casualties on Alliance’s side, just a quite a number of heavy wounded.
First, the battle wasn’t that long.
Second, Kaya’s special Main Drone was incredibly efficient in saving lives on their side.
Third, they were in defensive position and were equipped with state of art defenses.
Fourth, this was a place where Alliance’s most elite talents were brought up.
Fifth, opponent’s elites were all focused on bringing down the only male among them. That male.
Claire had a difficult expression on her face.
Celina was confused.
The flight lasted for an instant, yet that moment of silence felt like eternity spent in hell.
Then all three entered a spacious room, where she was released from Mersa’s iron like grip. A holo monitor which was left turned on before was buzzing with voices of several people.
However, right now Celina could not even comprehend whatever the words were coming from holo-monitors. She was so confused right now that the people on screen seemed to speak some alien language.
Besides, that was not important right now. Butterflies in her stomach were buzzing even harder. Celina could not think clearly. She did not dare to look up at Mersa either. She could not even move. Freezing cold feeling went through her as she started shuddering.
She just could not understand Mersa’s reaction. She could not understand anything. What was going on? Someone tell her, because she feels like she is going crazy…
Then she felt a touch.
As she was in such mood she just could not help herself but to jump up! It was like a lightning from the sky fell down to hit her out of nowhere.
Suddenly she felt herself suffocating. It felt like hard iron bars suddenly enveloped her tightly. She could not breathe. In her mind she yelled for help. And she asked for Vorst...
[Marc: It’s alright now.]
His voice was soft, slow, and most importantly filled with so much certainty that her mind instantly believed him. Unconditionally. The iron bars suddenly turned soft, as she realized that she was in his embrace.
And it was like a different kind lightning went through her and she slowly eased down. Her body wilted under him as she started to sob, her arms wrapped around him with all her strength.
At this moment Celina forgot about everything else.
Marc’s gaze was soft as he watched Celina’s sleeping face. The white tiger girl was breathing softly as his hand wandered through her hair. Mersa sat next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder.
[Marc: I’m sorry.]
He said, his conscience once again filled with guilt as his head softly made contact with hers.
[Mersa: There is no need to be sorry, Vor-chan. I’m happy. Hearing you apologize also made me happy. And I.. I do not want to see Za-chan sad either…]
She answered completely flustered as she tried to downplay her role as embarrassment took over her actions. And he engraved this moment into his heart. Grateful for Mersa’s generosity…
[Marc: I. I will make sure to keep you happy forever, I swear it on my name. Either I uphold this vow or I shall forever renounce my name and my identity.]
[Mersa: Hehehe, I believe that my Vor-chan will, I never doubted you.]
And once again Marc will was reinforced. For he was Vegyla, and Vegyla shall die for their love. His resolve unwavering, as always willing to sacrifice everything to keep them happy. Forever.

In a vast room there was an enormous stone table that was at least a hundred yards wide. And there were two ladies seated on its opposite sides.
[--Kaya--: Lost again huh.]
The Serpent Lady pulled a crystal figurine among the thousands that were on the table. Although she said that there was a smile on her face.
[--Lily--: Heh, I won’t be able to call this a win.]
The Demoness also had a smile as she looked upon the table once again.
Those two were geniuses among geniuses when it came to tactics, however Kaya still had to admit inferiority in front of Lily’s sheer talent. When it came purely to commanding an army and tactical plays our redhead for the past millennia always claimed victory. Always. By the end of a game, any game, Kaya’s side would be completely obliterated. However Lily would never accept this outcome as a win. As she looked down upon her side, she could only see a decimated crowd.
Yes, she won. But at what cost? Could losing more than 80% of her army count as a win? No. Lily would never accept that.
[--Lily--: A bad move huh?]
Pushing aside this little time filler, Lily looked straight at Kaya. And the woman sitting in front of her obviously knew what she asked about.
[--Kaya--: Shujin-sama made a tactically wrong move.]
[--Lily--: He should have went for Nova first.]
[--Kaya--: *Nod* That’s right, Celina is a much easier target. In fact, after getting Nova Shujin-sama would get Celina right about immediately after. With much less, or even no pain.]
[--Lily--: *Nod* The ones with a more rational mind should be taken first. Celina is too emotional as a second target, her feelings must be going awry and will have a breakdown… just... about now.]
Those two were not watching the outside world anymore. That’s because they already finished setting up the stage and they held complete confidence in Mar. And in fact they already foresaw how the future events would unfold.
[--Kaya--: Did you tell everything to Shujin-sama?]
[--Lily--: Ehehehe, Shujin-sama was so vigorous with his interrogation, who am I to be capable of resisting his skillful questioning?]
[--Kaya--: Witch!]
[--Lily--: Tehee~]
[--Kaya--: It’s fine, you wouldn’t say anything unnecessary.]
[--Lily--: Mhm, still, that tactically inane move…]
[--Kaya--: Shujin-sama doesn’t think about that~]
[--Lily--: Right~]
Both of them let out a soft chuckle as their gaze turned towards the resting place of their links. Their hearts filled with both pride and belonging. Because they knew that he had never thought about them as his targets to conquer. Never in the past and never will he in future.
He was their Marc - Marcdrak Euharm Maxkael Adajax Emerald Vegyla. And they belonged to him. Belonged with him.
Celina Za had a wonderful dream.
She could not remember what it was, but she knew that she rested for what it felt like decades in advance. Her body felt light and her mind fresh and ready to go. It was like a big stone was lifted off her chest.
She gently wiped off her eyes, yawned lightly, and tried to get up… Only to find out that someone was holding her head back.
As she opened her eyes, she met those green eyes, and all the events from before immediately rushed back.
[Marc: Shhhh… It’s fine.]
He said that as his hand continued to wander through her hair.
[Mersa: Za-chan! You finally woke up!]
The wolf girl said in cheerful voice as her face popped into Celina’s view, which totally startled the latter.
[Mersa: It’s fine, I’m not against Marc being with you.]
She dropped a bomb, however this was also what Celina was afraid of! Could be that she will be the cause that split Mersa and Vorst apart? No! She did not want this!
[Celina: I-I’m sorry Cam-chan! I don’t. This is no good!]
She jumped up totally flustered as she forcefully separated from Marc. Confusion appeared on the face of the other two.
[Mersa: You don’t want to be Marc’s?]
[Marc: Celina?]
[Celina: I-I-I do… don... I can’t separate you two! I’m in a way…]
The tiger girl wanted to deny, but when she met Marc’s gaze those words stuck into her throat. She could not bring herself to reject it right in front of him… Frustrated over her own heart rebelling against her she blurted out her true thoughts. Hearing that the wolf girl exhaled with relief and rushed in to give her a tight hug.
[Mersa: I’m so happy you think the same! But, don’t worry, we will be with Marcdrak together.]
This sight completely melted Marc’s usual reserved look, and he also stepped up to embrace them both.
Celina’s brain short circuited for a while. And when she finally came to understanding she simply could not believe that this was real. She must have be having some sort of kinky dream. However it was not - because the harsh awakening that she expected did not come and she finally realized that everything was truly real.
Her tears fell again, but this time were tears of happiness.
Intruders appeared in Marc’s Soul Realm. Calla, who was always responsible for protecting Marc’s place, immediately sensed it. When she looked down a smile flashed through her face as she recognized those three figures from a distance.
Pat, pat.
She patted the ground that she was sitting on... and it moved.
Rrrrrrrrrrrr…
Fafnir meekly answered with a low growl that sounded more like a purr and leaped down.
Celina suddenly appeared in an unknown place. She only remembered Vorst touching both of her cheeks then she was here. She started looking around to somehow try to hide her completely red face. Then she saw Mersa appearing right next to her on her own.
Then before she could ask anything there was a huge explosion in a distance.
______________
Fafnir did a light landing. That was a light landing. With his large body if he were to truly crash into a surface it would not end up with just a small crater like this. He felt a light tap on his forehead.
With a black flash Calla appeared in front of the three.
_______________
Celina had no time to make a detailed observation of the gigantic creature that sweeped down from the sky. That’s because from the dust cloud a black line shot towards them and just as it was about to crash into them it stalled.
Then that blurry black dot became a an exasperatingly beautiful woman.
Mersa said something about introducing her to “others”, at first the tiger girl had no idea what was going on, but now it started making sense. Still, who was that beautiful lady? And more importantly, what did she eat to become that devastatingly beautiful?
Mersa immediately threw herself into that woman’s bosom.
[--Marc--: Calla.]
[--Mersa--: Krishna-nee!]
[--Calla--: Greetings m’lord. Camelia-chan *hug*. And Celina Za *nod*.]
[--Marc--: Za meet Krishna Ragnarok, Calla meet Celina Za.]
[--Celina--: Um-um hello…]
[--Calla--: You can call me Krishna-nee. We will know each other for long time after all.]
[--Celina--: Y-yes!]
Celina could not tear her eyes off the woman in front of her. All of her features were simply sculpted out, there was no way there existed a perfection like this! Fine nose, small yet refined lips, and long long black silky hair, not to mention her figure was completely breathtaking.
[--Mersa--: Krishna-nee! What is that?]
The White Angel of War pointed at the enormous golden creature that emerged out of the dust cloud and slowly headed their way.
[--Calla--: Oh? That’s little Fa, m’lord just awakened him.]
The black haired lady waved her hands in a strange gesture, but apparently creature understood and sped up, as it came over it obediently lowered his head to let Mersa pet him as much as she wanted. It had to curry up a favor from his new mistresses.
[--Mersa--: Woooooow! These scales are so shiny and tough!]
[--Calla--: Hehe, although little Fa is smallest amongst Marc’s Sacred Beasts you cannot underestimate it by its size. I’ll teach you how to ride him later.]
[--Mersa--: Whoa! You can ride him?!]
On the side Celina was completely dumbstruck by familiarity between those two. Then she meekly turned her head towards Marc.
[--Celina--: V-vorst, who is she?]
But before Marc could answer two more figures appeared out of nowhere.
[--Lily--: Za-chan is finally here huh.]
The redhead suddenly embraced the tiger girl from the back.
[--Kaya--: Welcome Za-chan!]
In front of the tiger girl another pretty lady appeared smiling at her warmly, and from the back was another!
Kaya turned her head towards Marc and her gaze became even warmer.
[--Kaya--: Shujin-sama should just leave this to us, us girls will a nice long chat. Lily prepared some really good cookies for tea.]
[--Marc--: Mhm. I’ll leave it to you. Kaya, Lily, Calla, Mersa. I’ll see you later Za.]
And with that he departed.
[--Mersa--: Ana-nee! *Hug* Lily-nee! *Hug!*]
Celina Za was once again thoroughly confused.
Marc was sitting comfortably inside his private library. This room was quite small, there was only a single armchair and a small desk in it. He was surrounded by shelves packed to the brim with ancient tomes from every single angle possible.
On his lap there was a book. Gorgeously decorated with gold and silver, on the black leather cover bizarre runes were continuously dancing as if alive. Marc absentmindedly caressed them drawing certain runes, and symbols would playfully run after his fingers.
The former Demon Emperor was troubled over Nova’s case. He figured out that he made a mistake somewhere and hurt the blue haired witch. But where was that mistake? He had no idea. However that was not important right now. How can he made it up to her?
Bzzzt
Electric charge bit at his fingers. Magical runes were showing their disapproval, they wanted his full attention. Marc green eyes flashed with violet light as he looked down at the symbols who were definitely getting too full of themselves. As if noticing the black haze that formed on the tip of his index finger the magical inscriptions immediately scattered!
A small chuckle escaped his mouth as he erected a barrier to block them.
Whimper, whimper. Runes appeared extremely pitiful as they gathered on the border of the barrier. The black haze slowly disappeared as he pet them comfortingly.
[--Marc--: Don’t be like that Mari, I love you as well.]
Magical symbols appeared to be grumbling but they soon eased down, becoming playful once more.
AN: Mari was not truly introduced yet. She is one of Marc's Seven, also she is not awake yet.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
