Author’s Corner: HELLO HELLO! Small update while you wait for the next main chapter!
ANYWAY, Wednesday may be a bit of a hard day for me to update from now on, so I will either put up a SS chapter or nothing at all. I go to college at 7:50 AM and leave around 17 PM, so yeah… Thursday may also be a bit bad, but still can’t be so sure. We’ll see tomorrow.
ALSO, I know I promised to update the fanfic I got some time ago, but this whole back to classes thingy kind of threw me out of pace. Sorry about that (^.^’) As soon as I get some time for myself I’ll do something about it.
ALSO(2), FROM NOW ON I PROCLAIM HAMMIE THE COOKIE-LORD, AND HE SHALL RECEIVE HIS COOKIES WHENEVER HE PLEASES FOR HIS GOOD WORKS! FOLLOWERS, WHENEVER YOU SEE HAMMIE, IT WILL BE YOUR DUTY TO PROVIDE HIM COOKIES!
ALSO(3), SPEAKING OF FOLLOWERS, WE ARE ONE STEP AWAY FROM 600 BROTHERS AND SISTERS! CYGNAS BE PRAISED! MAY HER NAIVENESS BLESS YOU ALL!
Have a good read!

The three fools almost fell onto the ground after hearing their instructor words. Having to face another test right after coming out of that hellish classroom? Their sanity would probably give up much before they could even understand what was happening.
On a rare bout of synchronism, the three fools looked towards the open gate on the other side of the patio. Its promises of freedom from this crazy teacher made them consider the idea of running away now and then, and never again come back. Alas, neither fate nor their instructor thought of that as a good idea.
“Don’t think you three can run away! I can catch the three of you before you even write ‘Run away’ in runic!”
The three fools looked at their instructor in surprise for a moment, before sighing loudly. For the last few hours, they had learned through the hard way how to write "run away" in runic. Without it being degrading or humiliating it still required at least twenty eight runes!

The three of them looked longingly back to the gate one last time before they finally decided to face reality. Once more readied themselves to whatever kind of hellish test of the deepest hell that could bring the hellish instructor of hell could bring to them. And yes, all those hellish hells are intended.
“Now, for the next text, I’ll train your proficiency in combat. Not magic, not martial arts, but combat.” Issak said in his usual happy mood. “Now, before I can finally give you the passing grade, you have to land a hit in me. That’s all.”
And as the instructor said that, he pulled out two weapons from his waist. That is, if those things could even be considered weapons, for they were a simple pair of kitchen knifes that he held like daggers.
The three fools looked at each other, and saw themselves smiling, a smile full of evil intentions and relief for their stress.
Without even waiting for a signal, the fight started.
Except that the poor, poor… Maybe not so poor instructor, was left all alone in his corner, with not a single of his beloved torture subj*cough*students even spared him a glance as they started to beat each other in the patio.
Have they gone insane, you ask? No, my dear readers, it’s precisely the opposite. They have just been given a free pass to beating the object of their hate, so there is no way that they are simply waiting for such wonderful chance like this to pass.
However, neither wanted to waste their chances by having the other beat the instructor before themselves. Naturally, a fight for having the first go started as the tree decided with all of their strength to be the one who would go first.
But said instructor, was all but happy on being ignored by his subjects, and so, before any of them even had the chance on react, he got into the middle of their fight as a rune-phrase shone in the ground beneath him.

The three fools were readily acquainted with the feeling of flying as the phrase suddenly threw all of them ten meters into the air.
“Don’t go thinking that I’ll simply stand around waiting for you to attack me, ok?” The instructor said with some slight annoyance in his voice.
The whole patio froze as he spoke, but this only lasted for the briefest of moments before the other warriors continued with their training again. Somewhere, the funeral march was heard as one of the fellow trainees gave the three newbies their condolences.
Meanwhile, the three rune-warriors-to-be were still trying to pull their heads out of the ground from the fall.
This time they decided to make the decision a bit faster, using rock-paper-scissor. After a couple of rounds, it was decided that the Half-dark elf would be the first to try, so he advanced towards the hell-spawn of a teacher.
His spear was his weapon of choice, and with a series of thrusts and pokes that could leave even the fastest monsters confused he assaulted relentlessly the teacher.
The second one was the Draconid, Incarnus. His glaive danced back and forth with lightning flash slashes and somersaults. Where he lacked in precision compared with Let, his fluidity more than surpassed his.
Finally, came the kid-looking apprentice. Where the two before him swung their weapons with precision or style, he went through with brute strength and ferocity, swinging his halberd with abandon. Sheer unstoppable muscle power.
Three warriors had their chance against the instructor, and now three warriors were laying on the ground beaten black and blue, with only the occasional twitching limbs serving as a signal of their life.
The instructor looked sadly at the three mighty warriors, now barely breathing, and shook his head in disappointment.
“And here I hoped that I would need to hold the knives with something more than two fingers…” He said with sadness overflowing from his voice. Then a smile surged in his face as he had an idea and once again the whole patio froze. “I know! If the three of you don’t manage to hit me within two hours, I’ll personally teach you three how to fight!”
Despair befell the three, as fear-fueled life once again filled their bodies and they jumped back to action. Old rivalries died in hope for a few extra hours of life. The three warriors, for the first time in history took upon themselves to defeat this unholy being in front of them.
With what could be considered the apex of cooperation, they took on the instructor once again. While Incarnus' flurry of attacks kept him occupied, Let’s pokes went after the small openings in his forms, while Chouhi simply smashed away, wearing his stamina.
It was a fight to remember for the centuries. Three rivals came together under a single flag known as vengeance and together, tackled an unfathomable enemy. Blows were traded, magic spells were cast, training grounds were destroyed and witness were shocked.
Finally, in the end, a smile as big as the sun marked their faces as they looked towards their teacher.
“My, my… It seems that we will have to take those extra classes after all!”
And tears fell from their eyes as they were dragged towards the training grounds. With their spirits broken, minds shattered and hopes destroyed, they were once again taught by the very incarnation of evil.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.

Elrich Saga Yellow Springs Book One
A young college student gets killed and accidentally saves the world. As thanks, a group of gods decide to give him a second life. They send him to Elrich, a world with monsters, demons, and where adventures await. However, his goddess liaison is a bit of an airhead and messed up his reincarnation. What sort of place awaits him in this world full of danger and uncertainty? This world is harsh, not at all the fantasy fluff and harems he'd imagined. Will he be able to keep his sanity with death around every corner? This story has LGBTQ friendly themes. It touches on drug use, child molestation, rape, children committing murder, death sentencing as a form of punishment, and questioning one's sexual identity. There are some harsh themes, since this is meant to be a harsh world. Some themes touch upon the MC directly, the others happen to secondary characters. I try not to go into too graphic of detail and I believe that this story is 16+ friendly. I promise that these themes tie together in the end to make a cohesive whole and are used to provide back story for later developments.
