《Magus Of Darkness》Chapter 97: Forest!

“Huh?”
Adrius’ mind stopped for a second, Mary giving birth? Wasn’t it supposed to be tomorrow according to his calculations? Was he wrong?
But then an idea came into his mind. “Tell me, what time is it?” He asked the beastkin.
The beastkin bowed his head and answered with a small voice. “It is 7 am, Your Highness.”
‘I was right!’ Adrius exclaimed in his heart; he had been in his room for an entire day without noticing it. Solving the problem, he had in his mind he ordered the beastkin. “Bring Mary here immediately, I don’t care if the child is half way out, if necessary, push it back inside and bring her here. Am I understood?”
The beastkin’s face went pale and left immediately to go and bring Mary to him. Adrius closed the door and immediately started setting up the lab. He cleaned the cauldron from the way and closed the lid so the smell disappeared and did not hypnotize Mary.
He cleaned the table he used with a wave of his hand, an invisible force lifted everything and put them back to where they were in their own place on the shelf.
He also took out his knife collection, he may not need it. As Mary will probably birth naturally, but he can’t be too sure and maybe it may require him literally to split Mary from the waist to get the child out. He took off his magus robes and wore a simple shirt and pants. Then wore his white lab coat over it. With his mask on, he looked like a doctor from a horror film in his past world. A mad doctor that tears people open and does unspeakable things to them. ‘Wait, I am a mad scientist.’ He laughed in his mind.
‘This is really not the time for your sick jokes, we must prioritize Mary and the child now.’ A voice like his own shot inside his head.
‘What a fun killer, so what if this bitch died? She is a mortal; they exist to serve and entertain us.’ The other voice that sounded like his own but more gruffy, mocked.
The whole conversation went inside Adrius’ head, which he was grateful to. Because he really doesn’t want to be questioned as to why he was talking to himself.
The sound of wailing and screaming became more audible by the second, until it was so close Adrius could hear every word said, or in better terms, screamed.
Without moving from his place beside his table. He waved his hand and the door to his room opened. When the door opened Adrius was met with the same wolf beastkin, he was preparing to knock at the door. “Your-”

“Shut up and bring her here, then leave!” Adrius cut him off.
The beastkin did what he was told and with the help of the other beastkin and a human doctor, who Adrius sensed was mortal, they brought Mary to the table. Mary was wailing and crying. “Master please, take it out, it hurts so much.” Mary cried and begged him to take out the child.
He only nodded at her. “Your Highness,” a voice came behind him when all the beastkin were out and he was preparing to work. He turned and saw the female mortal doctor; she was a good 20 cm shorter than him. So, he had to look down and meet her eyes. The moment he met her eyes, she looked at her feet and started to fidget. “Didn’t I say that everyone should get out?” Adrius asked with a cold tone, he hated people who don’t follow orders. Call him a hypocrite.
The woman started to sweat and Adrius saw the fear and regret creeping on her dare he say, ugly face. She had a big black mole on the left side of her chin, her eyes were too narrow, her nose too pointy and her lips were like a road from how wide they were. One word came into Adrius’ mind to describe her appearance: Pig.
“Yes, you said, Your Highness.” Doctor Pig said. “But Mary is my responsibility and I don’t feel comfortable leaving her. It is against my order’s rules.” Dr.Pig was really pushing the boundaries now, as she just insulted Adrius by saying she isn’t comfortable leaving Mary.
“Are you insinuating that I am incompetent, Dr.Pig?” Adrius’ voice was filled with malice and killing intent. The doctor’s face went blank when she heard him call her Dr.Pig, but she gained her mind again and her face fell and was filled with fear. “No, no” she shook her head vigorously, “I dare not, Your Highness.” Tears started to gather in her eyes.
Adrius was not done; he lowered his head and was so close that he smelled her breath. It smelled of mint. “You know I can kill you right now for this insult don’t you, Dr.Pig?” He then caressed her face with his hand, he dropped his hand’s temperature. So, it was like a corpse touching her, it made her flinch and she immediately went on all fours and started to beg. “Please, Your Highness. Spare this lowly Pig.”
“It is not impossible.” Adrius smirked when he saw the hope in her face. It was like she found her savior after she was lost in the desert without food or water. “But you have to do something first.” She nodded and promised to do anything she can in her power.

“Okay then,” Adrius smirked, “oink for me then, Pig.” Adrius almost laughed when he saw her face fall and the look of horror in her eyes. He was technically dehumanizing her.
“Come on, I don’t have the whole day. Oink for me, you lowly dirty Pig.” Adrius’ smile got wider and wider, seeing her contemplate her decision, if she does Oink, then she is not better than a pig and if she doesn’t then she will be killed.
It is either her life or pride.
And as expected of humans,
“O..Oink, Oink, Oink.” Tears were falling from her eyes and staining the floor. Snot was also mixed in with the mix, she really looked like a pig at the moment.
Adrius wanted to get out all of the frustration he had built up in the last month and he was not done yet. “Ah, look at the mess you’ve made.” Adrius gestured to the snot and tears on the floor. He then smirked and spoke. “Lick it clean.”
The look in the doctor’s eyes was priceless, it was like he told her to kill her child. “No, please, Your Highness. Please.” She begged and cried.
“If you don’t lick it then I will make Hadith play with you.” Adrius threatened. Hearing his monstrous slave’s name, Dr.Pig shudderd and with a broken soul she lowered her head and licked!
Her face was filled with tears and snot by the time she was done. Adrius laughed at the look in her eyes. They were empty! Adrius broke her!
“Now you physically and mentally are like a pig.” Not wasting another second, Adrius kicked her head. Her head exploded immediately, but Adrius stopped the blood and brain matter from going all over his room.
Remembering Mary, Adrius turned and started working immediately. Mary was burning and her breath was shallow. “Mary, do you hear me?” Adrius asked.
“Master?” Mary’s voice was very small.
“Yes, now I want you to push, understand?”
Mary went rigged. “No, no Master, please, it hurts, please do something else.” Mary was crying and begging. Adrius didn’t see her cry and beg since he killed her sister and ate her soul in front of her.
“Shut up, Mary! I said push, I told you, if you question me again, I will flay you. So, don’t tempt me.”
Mary visibly flinched. It seems she surrendered as she took a deep breath and started pushing.
Her screams were from nightmares. She screamed and cried, but she pushed. And push she did. In a matter of 3 minutes, Adrius held the child in his arms.
It was red and cried like crazy, the umbilical cord was still attached, so with a swift motion with his hand it was cut and the child was officially free from his mother’s body.
It was grimy and slippery. But Adrius held it. He didn’t even check to see if it was a boy or a girl. He immediately went to his microscope and using a needle the size of a hair he poked the baby and took a drop of blood, which he put into a glass rectangle. But before he starts watching the blood, he used a towel to clean the baby then gave it to its mother.
Mary’s face lit up like the sun when she saw it. She held it in her arms and then checked under the towel. “Oh, my dear baby girl. Welcome to the world. Master, would you give us the honor of naming her?” Mary asked.
Adrius hummed, he looked at the baby, she had black hair and green eyes. The eyes came from her father, Adrius concluded. She didn’t have any characteristics of a wolf like the beastkin. There was no tail, no wolf ears instead for human ones. But her pupils were wolf-like. The green in her eyes was almost like an illusion, it can get people lost into it.
“Forest,” Adrius whispered, “her name shall be Forest.” Mary gave a smile, clearly happy with the name. She then took out her breast and immediately put her nipple into Forest’s mouth, feeding her. Her expression was one of love and gratefulness. “Thank you, Master.” She said with tears falling from her eyes.
“For what?” Adrius asked, he knew he was a piece of shit to her so why would she thank him?
“For giving me Forest. Without you I may have still been alone in the world, but now I have my daughter with me. Thank you for deciding to create Forest.” Mary had a smile on her face when she spoke. It was a small smile, a tired one.
Adrius didn’t know what came over him at the moment but he extended his hand and took off his mask.
Mary gasped, she has been serving Adrius for over 3 years now and this was the only time she saw his face.
“I told you Mary, you belong to me. And you, better than everyone should know, I take good care of my property.”

It is a world where a cherry red sky gazes down upon a fragmented continent, on which civilisations from other worlds have been dumped like refuse.
