《Magus Of Darkness》Chapter 91: I need a drink

“Are you fucking crazy, you piece of shit?” Screamed Croft with anger sipping from every pore in his body.
His apprentice just did a thing that would definitely make countless people mad and maybe start hunting him down for it.
“No, I’m not.” Came the response from the man himself, he was sitting on the couch relaxed.
Croft’s blood was boiling, this was bad, the situation was very fucking bad. Adrius just killed over 300,000 people and destroyed a city. This was not something that will go without consequences.
Croft calmed himself and asked him. “How did you do it? You just came in here and told me you did it, you never explained.”
Adrius smiled; it was some sadistic smile that he only reserved when he was doing something horrible. “I bought jars of a substance called Wildfire, then I planted it under the whole city. You should have seen the view, it was one of the most beautiful scenes you could ever see, the screams of people burning alive with the view made the experience ten times better than what I originally thought.”
Croft didn’t know what to do, he finally saw what the headmaster had been saying the moment he took Adrius in. The man was mad! Even more than Croft himself, who is known for his madness and cruelty.
Headmaster Buros was in rage, he even threatened to kill Adrius. But Croft stopped him by making him consider punishing him. Now he was to repeat the punishment to the man in question.
“Headmaster Buros wanted to kill you, but I stopped him and made him give you a punishment instead.” Adrius started to groan but Croft waved and shut him up by closing his mouth shut.
“Don’t speak, not until I’m done, shithead.”

Croft sighed and then continued. “Your punishment is that you will teach the newcomers for a half a year. You will teach them the arts of poisons and magic. And be thankful, I made him give you this assignment, he originally planned for you to be his personal slave for a year.”
Croft unfastened the seal on Adrius’ mouth and the latter shouted. “A teacher?! Me?! Is this old man out of his goddamn mind?!”
Croft wanted to find a hole and hide in it at the moment. The man just insulted a rank 2 magus. This was suicide, the problem he would be killed too if someone overheard their conversation.
Croft decided to change the subject before Adrius got them killed. “Shut up now and accept the punishment. Now, when will my Grandson or daughter be born?”
He couldn’t wait to hold the little shit in his arms and make him call him grandfather. He may not be the real grandfather but he doesn’t have a child and Adrius is good enough to be his, they actually look the same with their eyes, maybe their skin is different but everything else is the same.
Adrius’ eyebrows rose in confusion. “Grandchild? You mean my kid? Then I don't know, I don’t keep count. Also, they are not your grandchild, you are not my father.”
Croft just smirked. “Well, too bad for you, because I decided to adopt your child as my own grandchild.”
Adrius laughed. “Well, too bad, I planned to use them as a sacrifice.”
Croft started to see red, he grabbed Adrius by the throat and hissed at him. “Listen here deepshit, if you even touch a hair of my grandchild’s head, I will fucking kill you and torture your soul until I die.”

Adrius gulped and nodded his head in understanding. Croft then immediately dropped him and went back to his seat on the couch.
He heard Adrius whisper under his breath. “Goddamn old man, go fuck someone if you want a child or a grandchild this much.” But he ignored him.
A knock on the lab’s door made Adrius stop his complaining. Croft stood; he was going out anyway. He went to the door, opened it and saw two women, he knew who they were but didn’t care to remember their names.
They bowed to him, and spoke respectfully. “Magus Croft, sorry for the sudden visit. But we have important things to discuss with Adrius Caseo, with your permission of course.” The one with the red head spoke, she worked for the order hall. He hated the place; it was filled with people who think of themselves as some kind of order keepers.
He didn’t respond, he only said in a loud voice. “Adrius, your girlfriends are here. Try not to impregnate them, I already have one grandchild on the way, I don’t want another.”
The two women were like fishes, they opened and closed their mouths in shock. He saw the anger in their eyes but they immediately hid it, it was suicide to show any bad emotion toward a magus in front of their face if you are weaker than them.
“Hmmm.” was Adrius’ only respond, he didn’t know what the fuck his apprentice was thinking toying with these two women. He knew that they hated Adrius’ guts, but he couldn’t stop himself from referring to them as Adrius’ girlfriends. It was just too fun seeing people angry or frustrated. Especially when they can’t do anything to retaliate.
He noticed Adrius’ mask float to him, and he immediately wore it on his face. He didn’t know why the little shit wore a mask. But he is happy, because he doesn’t want anyone seeing that ugly shit that Adrius calls face.
‘Damn, I’m really angry, aren’t I?’ he thought to himself, he noticed that he swore more than usual, the anger still hasn’t left his body from the statement Adrius gave about his grandchild.
He just sighed and bypassed the two women standing on the doorstep. He didn’t even glance at them, he just walked beside them.
‘I need a drink.’ He thought still feeling the anger.
