“Serena, does the cursed Fish Spear carry any curses that can be inflicted on others?” It was a fair question. We walked across the open green grass plain, numerous birds were flying around and I saw a variety of different rodents running around.

“Hmm, from what I remember Neptune’s Fish Spear only became a cursed weapon after he was given the title of God and his own Faction” Title? So he is just an overpowered player after all.

“Does the curse do anything though?” I asked

“It does, the curse is triggered when the wielder loses their temper, when that happens the wielder succumbs to a silent rage leaving them in an overpowered state that sucks their life force away, if they have an affinity with water or wind magic, the power is doubled” Back in earths mythology, Neptune was always seen as a God that lost his temper rather easily.

“How long will it take the weapon to fully kill him?” We might just be able to wind the clock down, our dodging skills weren’t half bad

“I would say over a month, but, even with the host being killed the curse will still infect the body and they’ll be a mindless being roaming the Dungeon” Great, zombies exist to if you look at it like that

“Rival Serena, is there a weakness to the Fish Spear?” Umi asked, we could now see the start of the forest over the horizon

“Hmm, if I were to find a weakness it would be when it has extended out, the middle section shouldn’t be as reinforced” If we are going on about a normal Fish Spear then, when he shoots it at one of us the middle section should be rather flimsy, if we can break it there it might just work. I pondered to myself walking closer to the forest filled with Willow trees, the forest itself looked rather ominous, what more, we had walked almost the whole way over the grass plain and hadn’t come across a single monster, this floor was known to players as the Grind Floor, players would level up and gather equipment to take on the Floor Eleven Boss.

“We haven’t come across a single monster, Sir Udon, do you think it has something to do with Aquarus’s Cursed Fish Spear of Neptune?” Just as I was wondering that myself, Umi asked the question

“I was just thinking that myself, we should come up with a plan before we attack, it seems we might have to camp out here, I’d rather not attack during the night” The sun was starting to set, we had been walking all day, we stopped every now and then to rest during the day but it was still a long walk, especially for a lower floor.

“I’ll keep first watch, Sir Udon” Umi puffed out her chest taking charge

“Whatever, wake me when it’s my turn” I still didn’t sleep soundly but, I knew they weren’t going to harm me anymore…Serena couldn’t harm me unless she wanted to die herself, that was the main reason I could fall asleep.

“Sir Udon, wake up Sir Udon” I could hear Umi whispering to me and shaking me at the same time

“My turn already” I slowly opened up my eyes, it looked like the sun was just rising

“No, look” Umi pointed towards the forest

“What’s happening?” The forest was shaking violently with the wind, the entire area looked drenched, but the grass was dry as a bone

“I believe Neptune’s Cursed Fish Spear has taken over Aquarus’s body, he seems to be fighting it, but it’s a losing battle” Serena explained, I sat up and looked around, the monsters were even running out of the forest…towards the town!

“This isn’t good, those monsters will attack the towns people, we should go help them” Umi said standing up

“Hold it, we only came to kill that over grown squid, and besides, the town is full of players wanting to level up” I had no obligation to help those people, as cruel as it sounds, I didn’t care about anyone except for those in my party, I had met numerous people in this world and they are as bad as the ones back on earth.

“I understand that you want to get revenge for Miko Hero Udon, but as a Hero Weapon holder don’t you believe it is your duty to help those in need?” Great, now Serena was looking at me like I was the villain, I only got given this Ghost Seed to destroy The Evil 8, not to protect random people

“Fine, lets look at it like this, as long as that overgrown squid is wreaking havoc in the forest the monsters will continue to escape into the town, if we get rid of the source it will stop the oncoming monsters, will it not” I had to think about a practical way to explain to the two girls.

“I see your point Sir Udon”

“I see” Umi and Serena nodded to each other and then looked down at me

“Lets get ready” I got up and picked up my sword and bag

“Keep your guard up everyone” I told the two girls as we made our way into the Willow Tree forest

“The wind seems to have stopped Sir Udon” We had probably walked around five kilometres into the forest by now

“Shhhh, I hear something in the opening ahead” Serena put her arm out to stop Umi and I from walking

*Crash

“Watch out!” I shouted out pushing Serena out the way of a falling tree

“I wondered how long it would take a human scum like you to finally reach me” Aquarus appeared out from the trees. His entire appearance was warped, his scales were pitch black along with his tail, his tentacles were a fowl dark green and his eyes had turned blood shot red, his fins looked like sharpened barnacles and even his overall colour looked liked an ominous purple.

“First, let get rid of that pesky fox” Aquarus fired his Fish Spear towards the fallen Serena, the Fish Spear itself looked like the embodiment of a curse. The three dark purple bone spears pointing out of it were dripping with poison, the handle was omitting a purple haze from it and covering Aquarus in the process, even the dark brown roped tying the Fish Spear together looked like it was infested with all sorts of diseases

“Rival Serena!” Umi shouted out. The three spears heading towards Serena seemed to deny all the effects of gravity, they were getting faster every meter they flew, just how long can this weapon fire up to

“Don't worry, I’m goo….Arg!”

“Hahah, you dumb pathetic fox” Aquarus laughed seeing his three spears plunge deep into Serena’s leg

“How did it do that!” I ran too Serena confused. The three spears flew past Serena as she jumped, but than turned around and plunged into her leg, it was like they were honing missiles

“Rival Serena” Umi picked her up and carried her behind a tree, she was in bad shape, the area the spears had hit was pitch black and she was unconscious

“Damn it! This must be one of the effects of the curse, can you do anything Umi” I had no idea about curses

“I do not know, I don’t know anything about curses” Damn it!

“D-don’t worry, I-I won’t die” Serena opened her eyes and grabbed a hold of me

“I’ll come back for you” I gave Serena a wryly smile and turned to glare at that overgrown squid, if we destroy that cursed weapon the effects on Serena should stop

“Umi, lets go” I pulled Umi towards me and hid behind the tree

“I trust you Sir Udon” Umi pressed against me looking around the other side of the tree

“To think that if those lowly life forms had just stayed out of your life, they would still be alive today” Aquarus smashed down the trees around him causing an opening in the forest

“I’m talking about that Dwarf of course, you should have seen his face when I set his shop on fire, oh, it was glorious!” Aquarus was giving me a horrific grin. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth, making fun of killing someone! How evil can someone be!

“Sir Udon, please calm down” Umi grabbed my wrists and looked me in the eyes

“We need to think of a plan, he has a cursed weapon” I was surprised at how calm Umi was.

“You right, if we can get behind him then we might be able to break the Cursed Fish Spear. I’ll distract him while you sneak behind”

“Got it” Umi dashed from tree to tree making her way behind the overgrown squid

“I didn’t just beat the shit out of that Dwarf as well, those two ladies, the one that made those cheap, crappy accessories and the one that made the awful clothing, I couldn’t even be bothered lifting a finger against them, I just burnt them alive while they were in their shops. Such painful screams filled the streets, it was a sight to behold, although, after the places were set ablaze, the fire spread and burnt the whole town in the process, I would say all those sacrifices were unnecessary, but, with the town destroyed and Neptune on the verge of losing his God status, my time has come! I will become the new God!” Aquarus laughed destroying more of the trees. A classic right hand man trying to sneak his way on the throne right here

“Can you be any more stupid, I mean come on!” I walked out behind the tree and caught the overgrown squids attention

“Oh, there you are, this might help you understand the situation you are in” Aquarus unclipped something from his pants and threw it over to me

“Wha!?” I looked at the rolling object stopping at my feet…It was a head, a small grey head, I knew who this was, Don, the cyclops that enchanted my armour and weapon. He had cuts and bruises all over his head, his eye seemed to be clawed at repeatedly and the back off his head was smashed in, I think I’m going to be sick, it was taking all I had to not throw up at the sight of it.

“This lowly monster tried to stop me from burning down those two bitches shops, I had to make a statement, send a message to anyone that would try and get in my way, once the rest of the towns people saw this little shit get the crap beaten out of him, they ran away in panic, they knew then and there the power I obtained and just how low their lives meant” Aquarus puffed out his chest and gave me another grin.

“What person in their right might would follow such a slimy, disgusting creature? You might get some of those monsters to follow you, the slimes, but other than that, ha! Keep dreaming!” My words were meant to provoke him, and just as intended, the overgrown squid gripped at his weapon tighter and shot the spears at me

“You will die a painful death, I will string you up for all to see, you will be the one that makes me a God! ”The three spikes honed in on me like missiles, I jumped over one and parried another with my sword, the third was coming right for my neck.

“Argh” I managed to roll out the way and behind a tree, the three spikes couldn’t evade so quickly and smashed the tree causing it to fall over, I managed to jump behind another tree but this gave me an opening, those spikes just need to connect with something and then they’ll retreat back.

“Hmm, you have grown a little in your cowardly evading, but you are still no match for me!” Aquarus shot his Cursed Fish Spear again, this time with more power behind it, the purple haze around him had grown stronger, he was emitting a terrifying energy, one that could make anyone sick just by looking at him. Is this part of the curse as well?

“Damn it” I managed to evade the three spikes again sending another tree crashing down, I looked over to see Serena was getting worse, she was starting to shake and was as white as a ghost

“I need to end this quick, think Udon!” I looked around for something I could possibly use…there

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow imprisonment!”

A purple glass cage appeared around Aquarus, he was startled for a second but then gave me a grin

“You honestly think such a weak spell can hold me” Aquarus laughed and smashed through the cage with his fist, I didn’t expect for it to hold him though

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Mist!”

My purple mist covered the area causing Aquarus to lose sight of me and his surroundings

“You’re a consistent little shit aren’t you” He looked around with a frown, he was getting frustrated, now for my second half of the plan

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Ball!”

I managed to make an explosion Ghost Seed, and mixed it in with the Shadow Ball, it will make a great little explosion. I had to make sure the seeds outer ‘shell’ was buffed up so it wouldn’t explode right away

“You pathetic little shit, that little spell won’t do a thing to me, show yourself!” Aquarus decided to smack the show ball with his Cursed Fish Spear

“Arggggg!” Aquarus was flown out of the purple mist and smashed through three trees, he still held onto his weapon though and it looked like it hadn’t taken any damage, damn it! How do I break something like that

“Hear my words cursed dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons cursed energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Cursed Water’ Cursed Hydro Water!”

“What the…” I looked at the collapsed overgrown Squid only to be smashed by an intense force of compressed water from his Cursed Fish Spear

“Sir Udon!” Umi shouted out, she was still hidden behind the trees trying to get a clear shot at Aquarus

“Ugh” I smashed straight into a tree, it didn’t have enough force to break it completely, but still, the tree did splinter

“Listen here you little shit” Aquarus shot up and in one massive leap, he was now standing over my bruised body

“You are scum, worse then scum, you are lower than dirt, you should be kissing the ground I walk on! I am a God! All shall bow down to me! That bitch Zeus will become my plaything! I am the new ruler of this dungeon!” Aquarus had an insane twitch in his eyes, salvia was spitting everywhere, this man has completely and utterly lost it.

“You shall be the first to be killed by the new God Aquarus, rejoice in your much needed sacrifice, praise me for bestowing something so grand to a puny human like you!” Aquarus looked down to me, his insane twitch in his eyes now turning into bloodlust, he pulled back his Cursed Fish Spear ready to impale me. Damn it! I barley have any MP left, I can’t even put up a barrier! How does three spells cost 130 MP! I only have 6 left!

“…Huh” I saw my MP going up, 10…15…30…50…77. I looked around to see what was happening when a notification popped up
