Several old cultivators were looking at the fighting that was taking place on the horizon with frowns on their face, even though more and more cultivators had come to defend against the beasts, the feeling of danger they felt in their hearts did not dissipate at all, rather it increased.

"There's something out there," said one of the old men.

"Defeating that thing is the only way to stop this madness," said someone else.

Hearing this, the others sighed and prepared themselves, taking their most precious treasures out of their sects and into the battlefield once more.

Just as the others were preparing themselves, two cultivators were sitting in silence.

"Have you prepared it?" asked one of the two cultivators.

The other did not day anything, merely nodding.

Seeing this, the other cultivator breathed a sigh of relief and left.

Three days later,

As the humans were fighting the beasts, a few dozen terrifying auras suddenly appeared.

Even the terrifying and unwavering beasts were slightly shaken by the sheer power of these beings.

A mere moment later, several extremely powerful attacks erupted toward the beasts slaughtering anything in their path with utter ease.

Two hours later

Flying in the air, Qiao Wei looked at the decimated beast wave and frowned.

"What do you think?" asked Qiao Wei as he looked in a certain direction.

"Whatever that thing is, it does not seem to care about these mere beasts," said Liao Gang as he suddenly looked in a certain direction.

"It's taunting us," mumbled Qiao Wei as he felt a certain aura call to him.

A moment later, Qiao Wei, Liao Gang alongside thirty other old cultivators flew over to the source of the aura.

In another location

Looking at the forty one True Awakening cultivators coming towards her, Xu Yue frowned.

"I expected a few more, but these ones will have to do," mumbled Xu Yue as a smile appeared on her face.

A few moments later, Xu Yue was flying in the air with her sword in her hand looking at the cultivators in front of her.

Seeing Xu Yue, the cultivators suddenly moved into a peculiar way, a connection was formed between the cultivators a few moments later.

Xu Yue then instantly appeared next to one of the cultivators, slashing toward him, she then disappeared and reappeared a certain distance away as a few dozen attacks appeared where she had just been.

After looking at the formation in front of her, Xu Yue appeared next to another cultivator with even more speed.

She slashed toward Qiao Wei with intense strength, just as her sword was about to reach him, Qiao Wei was replaced by another cultivator from the formation, Xu Yue did not stop, completely cutting the cultivators in half killing him.

She then fled at a high speed once again, but not before several attacks reached her, even though the attackers were at the True Awakening Realm, only five of their attacks actually managed to get even a scratch on Xu Yue's skin, the other attacks only annoying her.

While she was looking at the formation in front of her, Xu Yue also focused on her body, five different black liquids appeared in Xu Yue's hand at that moment, these were poisons that were injected in her body when she was injured.

Seeing this, Qiao Wei frowned.

"Plan C ," lightly said Qiao Wei, this caused the formation to slightly change, with Qiao Wei being moved the center.

Just as the formation was changing, Xu Yue appeared next to one of the cultivators at the edges and slashed down at him with full force, just as the slash came towards him, a cauldron appeared between the two of them.

The cauldron was smashed into pieces, but this allowed the cultivator to dodge the slash.

The cultivator then looked at the slash in the ground behind him, even though Xu Yue used her sword to attack, her Sword Qi also attack with her, as the cultivator dodged, the Sword Qi created a slash that was a few dozen or so Li in length.

After this, Xu Yue retreated, she then slightly gazed at the single attack coming towards her, in it she could feel the aura of all of the cultivators here.

Looking at the formation, Xu Yue found that it had transformed into a single large being, as such, doing what she had done before was impossible.

Thinking of something, Xu Yue slashed with full power toward the formation, even though as her Sword Qi became detached from her sword it became weaker, it still arrived before the formation in a mere moment.

Qiao Wei forcefully held his sword as he used the power of the formation to barely defend himself.

Seeing this, Xu Yue smiled, she appeared next to the now giant version of Qiao Wei and let out attack after attack, of fear of any tricks they would play.

Just as Xu Yue was about to retreat after an attack, Xu Yue found that Qiao Wei was not defending himself, he merely launched a vicious attack towards Xu Yue.

As Xu Yue dodged, she felt extreme danger, at a speed far beyond her usual one, Xu Yue instinctively dodged the attack that came from behind her.

But even so, a part of Xu Yue's waist was cut off from the much more powerful than usual, attack, using her spiritual sense, Xu Yue could see that another formation had appeared, and it had even more powerful cultivators than the one from before.

The two formations then began letting out as many attacks as possible, Xu Yue then began dodging at an even faster speed than before, it seemed as if Xu Yue was becoming stronger the more she was pushed, and that attack managed to push her to the limit.

As time passed, Xu Yue's injury began regenerating a fast speed, helping her finally escape from the siege.

After getting away from them, Xu Yue turned towards the formations.

"I thank you for your help," said Xu Yue as she looked at the formations with a smile on her face

This battle had managed to help Xu Yue attain a breakthrough in the Origin Sword art, even though she was nowhere near the Insight Into Creation stage, she had managed to attain a breathough and go beyond Grand Completion.

"Let's continue," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the two formations with a smile on her face
