Goku has show Dende to the look out seeing piccolo and looks like trunks was right they did fuse as Piccolo and Goku talk catching up

The stare down continues as father and son begin to fly upwards

Trunks and Vegeta have both landed a punch on each other both on the cheek as Vegeta quickly pulls his hand back and goes on the offensive as trunks is on the defensive until trunks managed to catch Vegeta off guard and catches his fist pulling vegeta forward and moving to the side before cupping his hands together and raising them up trunks hits vegeta on the back of the neck and sends him flying down

Trunks:you know your kinda annoying

Vegeta hearing this scoffs and immediately flies towards trunks going right back on the attack

Vegeta:SO WHAT YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU BEAT THOSE WHO BEAT ME THAT YOU'RE BETTER THEN ME I WILL NOT MISS OUT AT THIS CHANCE FOR REVENGE

Trunks let's Vegeta get in close before avoiding his punch and then pushing vegeta back Vegeta growls at this as the two stare each other down

Vegeta:and what about you I know you hate those machines as well so then why try and save them now

Trunks:why shouldn't i just because I hate them doesn't mean they can't change for the better it's a matter of looking past that hate

Vegeta: HAHAHAHA I never would have thought that my own son would be so soft

Vegeta: kakarot made sure to argue for me to go the kai planet but it doesn't matter boy

Vegeta looks trunks in the eye noticing that the determination in trunks eyes not diminishing Vegeta goes for a kick as trunks grabs Vegeta's leg squeezes it making Vegeta flinch as trunks powers up

Trunks:I am so sick and tired of this bullshit....and as for you wining this fight I SPENT THE LAST TWO YEARS TRAINING WITH YOU STUCK IN A ROOM ALONE WITH YOU SO I KNOW YOUR MOVES IDIOT

Trunks pushes Vegeta's leg away and then punches Vegeta in the gut as Vegeta leans over coughing up blood from the hard blow

Trunks hits Vegeta again hard enough for Vegetas pupils to go white and for Vegeta to spit blood

Trunks:and as for those androids... I'M IN CHARGE OF WHAT HAPPENS NOT YOU

trunks fires a blast at Vegeta sending him flying away

Vegeta:FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile

Goku, Chi Chi and gohan are having a happy family reunion with the past Goku Chi Chi knows this Goku will have to go back to the past but she's happy just to get to see Goku even if it's not really her Goku

Vegeta has landed in the ocean bloodied

Vegeta:.i ...am having such a strange......sense of... deja vu.....well.. His way it is . ...

Vegeta looks at what appears to be someone flying over as it's trunks who stops in front of him

Goku , Chi Chi and gohan are flying to capsule Corp Goku having to carry chi chi as trunks shows up with a injured Vegeta

Once they land bulma takes Vegeta from trunks but Vegeta demands to stay put until trunks and the clown leave

Goku:.. It was nice seeing you guys

Goku says this as the other once dead z fighters appear

Krillin:ok now I know this is a dream Goku couldn't have come back to life with us

Gohan smiles at trunks determination

Chi Chi walks to Goku

Chi Chi:... Be safe I don't want to hear about my past self losing you just like I had you understand

Goku:I'll do my best

Chi Chi hugs ok once more

Krillin:look I'll admit I don't get it at all I mean c'mon wouldn't it be way better to just get them together and fix everything

Vegeta:you even think about doing it while the boys gone and no dragon alive will fix what I do to you

Krillin jumps back at Vegeta's threat

Yamcha:c'mon ... Gohan you think we should use the dragon balls right

Trunks:look I'll explain it to you while everyone has been brought back i think using the dragon balls to bring everything back the way it was is stupid let humanity work it's way into the future if they work to restore the planet and what was destroyed.. Then maybe it could be kinda like a therapy session for them rather then everything magically getting put back together and leave them thinking everything was a bad dream they can work for it and it can really sink in that it's finally over and they won't second guess themselves

The z fighters paying attention understand what trunks means to a degree

The z fighters end up accepting it and once everyone has said goodbye with tears in chi Chi's case trunks and Goku head back into the past
