《Divine Demon Goblin》Chapter 48

Chapter 48
Divine was sitting next to Venus, cultivating.
After some experimentation, he had found out that this was the best spot to cultivate blood Qi.
It not only aided his cultivation, cultivating next to Venus deepened his connection to the spirit plant, too.
It also helped the Demonic Venus Flytrap with the development of her immature spirit.
It was a mutually beneficial.
Currently, Divine was at an important point in his Qi cultivation.
The second Qi pillar in his dantian was almost complete.
The red pillar had already reached the size of the black one next to it, only waiting to be filled up completely.
Venus felt his need and directly supplied a stream of pure blood Qi to him.
With Venus’ help, it would be goblin’s play to complete the second stage of the Foundation Establishment realm.
Building the first dark Qi pillar had been almost as easy, because in the environment of his cavern the dark Qi concentration was the highest.
The biggest challenge for his Qi cultivation would be in the third, sixth and ninth stage of the foundation establishment realm, when he would need to build the light Qi pillars.
The direct tunnel from his cavern to the outside would really have to be completed this time.
Divine focused his straying mind on his cultivation again.
More and more power circled through him and when the blood qi pillar was finally completed, he felt it.
The bliss of a breakthrough was still the most heavenly feeling.
An incredible vitality spread through his whole body.
His blood boiled jubilantly.
It felt incredibly comfortable.
Instead of sweating out impurities, Divine only let out a breath of turbid air.
Divine let his blood and Qi circulation calm down first and then he called on his status screen from the Divine Demon System.
[Spirit Qi Cultivation: Third Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm]
[Body Cultivation: Fifth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm]
[Blood Qi Essence: 498]
He really had reached the third stage.

Score!
Divine was the best goblin cultivator ever!
Now he would have to start building the third pillar with light Qi.
Looking at his status, Divine was also reminded that he had saved up quite a lot of blood Qi essence over the months.
Should he buy some things?
Or should he keep saving for emergencies?
His highest priority remained his safe development.
So, Divine decided to invest one part in his cultivation, one part would be saved up for rainy days and one last part could be spent on something that would help him survive an unexpected dangerous situation or something like that.
He looked for cultivation pills first and directly bought some that corresponded to his cultivation realm.
[+3 Body Foundation Establishment Pills] [-30 Blood Qi Essence]
[+3 Light Qi Pills] [-39 Blood Qi Essence]
This should be enough for the foreseeable future.
He didn’t plan on popping pills like eating candy.
Divine had the feeling that would only harm his long-term development.
Dark Qi pills and blood Qi pills were needless, at least for now.
The question remained what else he should purchase.
He wanted something good, that was also suitable for him.
A flying sword would be interesting, but in the Foundation Establishment realm, one could only let the sword fly and not carry themselves with it.
Only Golden Core realm cultivators could fly on their flying sword.
And Nascent Soul realm cultivators could fly on their own.
Divine could buy a lifesaving treasure of some kind.
Maybe he should buy a skill guide, for example on formations, to build some barriers and traps.
Some healing techniques, so that he wouldn’t have to buy a healing pill every time the goblings or one of the minions got hurt more than his basic light Qi control could handle, sounded like a good investment, too.
The more he thought about it the more he liked the idea of a healing technique, especially since he could always treat himself with it in a pinch.

Divine opened the System Shop and filtered for healing techniques in his price range.
[Blood Qi Essence: 429]
[One Dark Suffering Stealing Technique 90 BQE]
[One Twisted Dark Healing Technique 100 BQE]
[One Blood Sacrifice Healing Technique 100 BQE]
[One Soothing Light Technique 100 BQE]
[One Blood for Blood Technique 120 BQE]
[One Healing Light Technique 120 BQE]
[One Healing Water Technique 130 BQE]
[One Vampiric Healing Technique 130 BQE]
[One Alchemic Healing for Beginners Booklet 150 BQE]
[One Miracles of Light, Novice Compendium 180 BQE]
[One Basic Flesh Crafting Technique 200 BQE]
That already looked and sounded promising.
After the first look, he was inclined to choose one of the light Qi techniques.
It would give him opportunity to exercise his light Qi control more.
And theoretically, light Qi was the most suitable for healing.
But before making his final decision, he would definitely consult the Demonic Path of Immortality, a Cultivation Journey and read up on the different techniques the shop had presented him.
Searching for the right entries in the gigantic book would take some time, so he wanted to start right away.
Of course, right at this moment something had to come up.
And that something was Minion Hooknose.
His crooked nose was bleeding heavily and tears were in his eyes.
“Master! Come quick! Disciples fight. Me not can make stop. Soon, they kill each other.” Hooknose wheezed and whined.
“Where?” was the only thing Divine asked, while he was already extending his senses.
“Disciples’ cave!” Minion Hooknose answered quickly.
Divine directed his Qi sense and felt them.
With quick steps, he strode to the goblings’ cave, but he didn’t hurry or run.
“Where is Head Minion?” Divine asked Hooknose, who was following at his heel.
“Me not know. She leave cavern earlier.” Minion Hooknose grimaced in pain and touched his bleeding nose carefully.
It still hurt very much even though he had so much experience with a broken nose.
His nose was a magnet for fists, feet and stones.
Maybe it was one of the wonders of this magical world, Hooknose’s nose.
In the goblings cave, Third Disciple and Fourth Disciple were beating on First Disciple together.
Divine was not surprised they suddenly stood a chance against First Disciple, because he had already noticed that Third and Fourth had broken into the Body Tempering Realm, when he had scanned them with his Qi sense earlier.
With a gesture from Divine, Third and Fourth Disciple flew back from First Disciple and landed on their asses.
It looked like it had been a good fight.
Even with their from cultivation hardened and developed bodies, they managed to beat each other yellow and blue.
The filth of the impurities from their breakthrough wasn’t only spread to First Disciple, but all over the cave ground and cave wall, too.
Even in some of the pelts.
Second Disciple lay beaten and unconscious in a corner.
Sadly, he hadn’t broken through yet.
Second Disciple was the last left to reach the first realm of cultivation.
The second female minion was standing concerned over him, trying to wake him.
Divine went to his unconscious disciple and scanned him for injuries.
Except for a few bruises on his body, he had a big bump on the back of his head, which had rattled his brain and made him faint.
Divine’s hand started to light up with a soft and soothing glow and patted Second Disciple’s head.
The bump receded underneath his light Qi fingers little by little.
Divine picked his disciple up, carried him to the space where the gobling usually slept and tucked him into his pelt.
Only then did he turn to his other disciples again to address them.
They had been smart enough to line up and silently wait for Divine to take care of their brother.
“What happened?” Divine’s voice was stern and his eyes serious.

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.
