"Yup". I smiled but Jeni doesn't. "What?". I said. "You do know that's not good right?". Jeni said. "How is it not good?". I asked. "You really don't know what you are, do you?". Jeni shook her head.
"I don't...". "I made dinner!". Minseok walks in saying. "Coming mum". Jeni says. "Oh? And mum?". Jeni says. "Yes baby girl". Minseok smiles and Jeni points to me.

Part of the story is about following them as they learn more about magic. Enemies are also very dangerous, and running, hiding, or trying to talk their way out of a dangerous situation is often a better choice than fighting for the characters.
