"We won..." I mumbled to myself.
The stadium was still quiet as I repeated that sentence once again.
I felt a tear coming out of my eye as everyone in the benches came rushing to us. I gave the captain a nod as she gave me a smile, my tears were forming a waterfall on the floor.
I walked over to the back line before all of us gave a bow to our side of the audience.
It was then when I heard it.
I heard my name being called out by Atsumu, my dad who was next to him and Tobio who was right in front of me.
My legs were numb and I had the first year libero help me get outside of the court, packing up our things.
There was a few minutes break before they begin the match between the two men's team volleyball match.
I looked at Yuriko who was right in front of me. The redness in her eyes after crying, she stretched out her hand which I gladly put hand sanitiser on before shaking it.
"I need to tell you something afterwards" she told me and it made my eyes widen before she started walking away.
I looked at her back while she opened the door of the gymnasium and left.
And on that door...
I saw .
My first crush.
As soon as I saw him I turned my body around, facing the other direction before walking back to my team.
We walked to the stands as me and Seiko walked past Sakusa and Komori, a big smile on Komori's face as he called out to us.
"Congratulations on winning the nationals!" Komori had exclaimed which made me turn around and give him a smile.
Winning this volleyball match, has brought up the shine back in my eyes. I want to be winning a lot, I want my team to be able to be happy.
But one thing that didn't change, was that I was a germaphobe. A germaphobe that can be rude at nice at the same time.
Why the hell is she smiling? I asked myself as I felt my cheeks blush. Luckily, my mask was hiding it from the outside world.
Me and Seiko waved at the two before walking to the stands.
I talked to the coach about me going out for a second so I could find Yuriko and she gave me a nod.
"But be back, we don't want to miss the match" she told me, I turned around before rolling my eyes.
"Everyone knows that you and the guys' team's coach have a thing for a each other, there's no need to hide it" I thought to myself as I made my way outside.
I found Yuriko who was gazing up at the sky and when she heard my footsteps, she turned around to me.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked her.
"Well you see, I wanted to apologise" she told me and it made my eyes widen.

"I heard about your first crush when you were little... I want to apologise at the fact that he had feelings for me" she told me before gazing up at the sky again.
"Why are you telling me this?" I asked her.
"Because he is here today" she replied.
"He'll be playing against your school, and I wanted to apologise, hoping that you'd possibly be friends with him again" she explained.
"Why would I? He stopped talking to me after he rejected me" I said.
"I guess that's up to you to choose, I wanted to make you an offer though" she told me while she handed me a piece of paper.
"When you get to university, there is a team in America that has put an interest in you. You can either join or not join, there is also the American international team that would love to have you join their training camp when you're older" she told me and then handed me another piece of paper.
"If you ever want to join, give them a call and tell them your name. They'll quickly know who you are" she said and I nodded.
"Goodbye then" she waved at me and walked away.
So he's playing against Sakusa...

I rushed to back to the stands as I saw Itachiyama already lined up.
They were now calling out the people from Fukurōdani.
"Bokuto Kotarou, number 4" one of the commentators said.
A guy with white and black spiky hair was walking down to the court.
"Akaashi Keiji, number 5" that's when I felt my heart drop.
I saw the blue eyed guy jogging as he high-fived the the people at the bench.
He stood in line before looking at the stands, his eyes making contact with mine, both of our eyes widening.
He then started fidgeting with his hands before he started looking like he was nervous.
Why is he getting nervous as soon as he saw me?
I was looking around until I caught side of the setter in Fukurōdani's team looking up in the stands.
I looked away as I eyed the other players in his team before turning back to him, who was still looking at the stands.
I turned my face half way around before seeing (Y/N) looking at the said setter.
Are these two looking at each other? I asked myself in my thoughts.
"Psst" I called out to Kiyoomi.
"Kiyoomi" I whispered and he turned to me.
"What do you want?" he asked me.
"Number 5 on the other team, does he know (Y/N)?" I asked.
"Why?" he asked back.
"They've been looking at each other for a while now" I told him and his widened.
"Ooo~ does someone have a crush?" I teased him while still whispering.
"Ew, what's a crush? Another type of germ?" he asked me.
"I'll tell you later, you better beat this guy right here and right now before he takes your wife away" I kept teasing me and it made him roll his eyes.

"(Y/N)" I heard my father call out to me.
"Dad!" I exclaimed as I rushed over to hug him.
"Is she always like this?" the captain asked Seiko.
"She's only like that with her dad and when she's at home. I wouldn't try if I were you, you'd be a goner" she warned het and I sent daggers their way.
"What's wrong dad?" I asked him.
"Your grandma is making her way over here, she said she wanted to see you get the medal at least" he said while scratching the nape of his neck.
I chuckled before I heard the whistle blow.
"Isn't that Keiji?" he said as he pointed out at the ravenette.
"Yeah..." I replied.
"He's grown a lot" he said and I nodded, the thought of it makes me feel uncomfortable.
"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot what happened" he said and I shook my head.
"It's alright" I said.
In reality it wasn't.
The thought of Keiji has lingered in my mind for a few years before I was actually able to move on.
No matter where I went, he was like glue and would stick around me. And it pissed me off.
It pissed me off that he stopped talking to me after I confessed to me, it pissed me off the fact that I even confessed to him. The fact that after rejecting me he acted like I didn't exist, like I was invisible while he went off talking to other people.
That's what made me the most pissed off.
I looked at the court as I grabbed the bar of the stand as I was ready to kill the guy who shattered my heart in pieces.
In that moment, I noticed Sakusa. My cheeks blushing as he spiked and scored a point for his team.
The sweat dripping from his face as he got back into his position.
Wait...
What set are we in? I asked myself as I looked at the scoreboard.
We're only half way through the second set...
Man, I spaced out for too long.
I then looked Keiji who had a serious expression on his face.
"Tch" I said.
"(N/N)!" Atsumu exclaimed as he made his way to me.
"Tsumu!" I exclaimed as I turned around to look at him.
"You did great! Specially on the last two points!" he exclaimed as he sprayed his hands before trying to air high five me.
To which I high fived in return.
And then sanitised my hands.
Because hand sanitisers only kill 99.9% of bacteria, but it you put hand sanitiser twice after a few seconds in between, you kill a total of 199.8% of bacteria. [Guys this was a joke please don't think this is real. 😭]
I gave myself a little lecture.
"How do you think Omi-omi is doing?" he asked.
"You mean Sakusa?" I asked him and he nodded.
"He's doing great I guess" I replied.
"He was mad during your match earlier" he told me while laughing.
"Why?"
"Because he lost to you" he said while still laughing.
"You know, you and Sakusa could be a good couple" he started saying, gaining my father's attention.
"How so?" he asked.
"They're two germaphobes, they will help each other battle the germs while trying to get that affectionate contact. A contact that'd creep them both out if they were to do them right now" he explained in full detail and my father looked at him before putting a hand on his cheek.
"I see..." he said.
"That makes total sense!" he added out of nowhere as he started goofing around with Atsumu.
"See! Even your father agrees!" Atsumu told me as the two started whispering to each other, just like when they first met.
"They're both like five year olds, except that one of them is overage" I mumbled as I rested my arms on the bars.
I looked at the scoreboard once again, it was the third set.
Fukurōdani took one set of while Itachiyama took the other.
Considering the difference between the strength and power between the two aces... Sakusa has the lead...
And apart from that... Itachiyama has Komori, a first ranked libero.
I thought to myself.
I still had Komori's words in my mind.
What even is a crush?
Like is it when you crash into someone?
No, it wouldn't be that.
I shook my head and slapped both of my cheeks so that I was able to concentrate more properly.
The setter had set the ball to me as I got ready to do a really good cross spike that hit the floor as close to the net as possible. (Don't even ask me if this is possible, but anything is possible in anime. And I need this for the plot 🤠)
I put all of my power into that cross spike as it bounced on the ball before it literally jumped into the stands at full speed.
Shit I thought to myself as I saw the ball make its way to (Y/N)'s face.
In a matter of 1.62 seconds, the ball had hit (Y/N)'s face, causing her to have a node bleed while fainting.
Shit, I thought once again.
Her body... it was moving towards the court.
SHIT! Sakusa exclaimed in his head as he and Akaashi rushed next to the stands.
Sakusa stretched out his arms as he caught the falling girl.
Akaashi was a second late but he requested a timeout which the referee quickly granted as it ordered another to get the first aid kit.
"(Y/N)" the two boys said as Sakusa started shaking your body.
"(Y/N)!" four boys, a team, a man and a woman exclaimed as they rushed themselves down to where you were.
"Please tell me you're alright" all of the people thought at the same time.
