She hid in the darkness,

Alone and afraid thinking they'll laugh,

She's not like the other girls, no one pays attention to her,

"Why would they!", She thinks,

As she starts to draw on her hands,

Her canvas is herself and she considers herself art,

But she still hoped that they saw how much she was falling apart,

They're aren't her friends she's just a few laughs and mean remarks,

No one to help her, love her or care for her,

She turned to the darkness where she felt safe,

And thought " one day I'll leave this miserable place",

Now she's there her life's story will never be told,

For she died in the darkness thinking she was safe from the world.
