The past two years without you has been horrific.

I can't even begin to explain how missed you are.

Remember when you told me never let anything stop me from making a difference?

That I shouldn't let anything stand in my way?

I never expected the pain of losing you would be the thing that would cripple and break me,

I couldn't even get out of bed, eat or sleep. There was a constant pain in my chest,

Because I never expected to lose you.

But I think you'll be glad to know that I took your advice,

So, in the last couple of years,

I've dedicated my time to fundraise and raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving.

I don't want anyone else to have their heart ripped out the way I did,

I don't want anyone else to suffer like you did because of someone else's recklessness.
