《Fuck You Too // COMPLETE》2.8; Grocery Store

Connor grabs my phone out of my hand, going to listen to the voicemail Kian left. He puts it up to his ear, and I can hear Kians voice. I clench my jaw and look at Connor who is looking at the counter. He places my phone down on the counter and slides it over to me.
"You might want to listen to it.." He says, wiping his face down and turning around and starting to clean up all of the beer bottles. I pick up my phone with shaky hands, and press play.
"Uh... Hi London. I know that you're with Jc right now, and I don't blame you. I would to after what I said in that fight... I really do regret it, London. I miss you a shit ton, you really don't understand." His voice cracks, making me want to cry, but I hold it in. "London, I'm calling to see if you'd give me a second chance. I really really do love you, please give me another chance, please?" I feel a tear fall down my face, and I don't bother wiping it, and continue listening to Kian. "I promise I will never, ever say anything like I did again. I promise. All I want is to have you back.. Please think about it? I love you, London. I'll see you around."
I place my phone on the counter, and start crying. Connor comes over to me, hugging me. I cry into his chest for a little bit, Jc taking a shower. I calm down a bit, hearing the water turn off. I look up at Connor, and whisper to him, "Con.. I don't know what I should do.."
"It's okay London, we can go grocery shopping and I'll help you think, alright?" He says, smiling down at me and kissing my head. I nod, and he tells me to go get dressed. I go into my room, opening the door slowly, seeing Jc in a towel.
"Jc? I gotta change.. Connor and I are gonna go shopping."
"Oh, don't mind me." He says looking up from his phone. He looks back down and I go to the boxes that have my clothes in them. I find a pair of black leggings, a black tank top and a large flannel. Kians? (picture) I think to myself, and place it into the pile. I find a cute bra, and look back at Jc, who's still looking at his phone.

I slide Jc's sweatshirt off, also taking off my bra. I slide on the new one, clipping it on in the front. I slide off my shorts, putting on the leggings. I put the tank top on and slide the flannel on over it. I walk over to the mirror and put on some mascara that I found in the box. I take my hair down and let it fall in natural waves. I choose out a pair of grey converse and tie them up.
I go out into the living room seeing Connor leaning against the door frame waiting for me. I smile at him, grab my phone and wallet then follow him out to his car.
"Can we take a selfie?" He asks me, and I agree as he pulls out his phone. We take a cute picture, and I watch him open afterlight and put some filters on it, making it look pretty. He posts it on Instagram, with the caption 'Going shopping with this lovely today 😜'
He pulls out of the lot, and makes his way to whole foods. We get there in 15 minutes, and I get out of the car and shut the door, and follow him into the store. He grabs a cart, and we start roaming.
"Con, I still don't know what I'm going to do." I say picking up a chicken and placing it into the cart.
"London, I'd say give Kian a chance. He really did sound sincere in that voicemail."
"I know.. But I don't know if I want to..." I say, frowning, grabbing a pack of chicken breasts. We go down the spice isle, and I pick out one of each thing, and get some herbs too.
"Why don't you let Kian have another chance, and if he does fuck up again, I won't bug you about going to Jc." Connor says, grabbing a couple things of white rice.
"I guess... When should I call Kian?"
"Don't make his stress about your answer, call him when we leave." He says following me to the wine isle. I pick out a good cooking wine, and a couple things of Barefoot Bubbly pink moscato.
"Okay, I guess." I say placing the bottles into the cart. We finish up shopping, and Connor insists on paying half. "Connor, no. These are my groceries, I should pay." I say as he pushes past me, and swipes his card. "Connor!" I say laughing. I pull out a hundred from my wallet and hand it to him, only to have 60 put back into my hand. I sigh, giving in.

After we loaded all of the groceries into the back of his car I take my phone out, and unlock it. It was still on the picture Connor posted of us, and I look through the comments.
"London is so pretty tho like 😍😍"
"they are my OTP 😍 i don't even care if connors gay" I show that one to Connor, making him laugh then I decide to call Kian. I hit the call button and it rings twice before he answers.
"London?" He says, his voice shaky.
"Uh, Yeah. Hi, Kian." I say smiling a bit.
"Hi.. Lon. How are you?"
"I could be better I guess" I say smiling more. "Yourself?"
"I guess the same.. and I'm also guessing you called because of that voicemail I left for you..?"
"Yeah, I am. I take your offer." I hear him suck in a bit of air, and signing in relief.
"Dinner tonight?" He asks.
"That'd be great." I say, and look over at Connor, who is giving me the thumbs up and smiling a lot.
"Okay... I'll pick you up at 6?"
"Okay, I'll text you my address." I say smiling like an idiot.
"Alright, bye Lon. I love you.." He says and hangs up before I can reply.
Con looks at me very excitedly, as we pull into the lot, I don't see Jc's Jeep. We haul in all of the groceries and he helps me put them away.
"Thanks for today, Con. Wanna work on more furniture?" I say after we lay on the ground for a little.
"Yeah, lets do that." He says laughing, and picking up a box that contains the things to make a hanging chair.
~~~~
We spend three hours working on making the furniture, we made a hanging chair, a table and a cube book shelf thing. Now I need to buy a cute couch, a TV and maybe a chair. It's 5:30, and I text Kian my address, telling him I'm ready. I'm not going to get dressed up fancy, just going to wear what I am right now. I plug my phone in, leaving it on the floor next to the outlet and sitting in the hanging chair. It's pretty comfy, probably gonna be where I do my late night blogging.
I sit and think for a couple minutes, and realize something.
"Fuuuuckkkk." I say, and Connor looks at me raising a brow. "I need to paint in here."
"Oh, I can do that while you're gone if you really want me to."
"No. I'm not gonna make you do that. Maybe if it goes good with Kian all of us can paint it together."
"But-" He starts.
"Zip. It. You've done soooo much for me Con, but if you could fix up my fairy lights in my room for me that'd be great." I say laughing.
"Alright, okay." He says and goes into my room, and I hear things fall to the floor and I start laughing. I get my phone and lay down on my bed, taking snapchats of him. I put them on my story, having hundreds of people look at them. I soon hear a knock on the door, and slide on my converse and go to open the door.
Kian is waiting outside, with a single black rose, and looks me up and down. "Hey." He whispers, and hands me the rose.
"Awh, Kian! Thank you." I say hugging him and turning around to get a cup to put my rose in. "You can come in." I say laughing, and turning around. He steps in, and looks around. I grab a tall cup and fill it up with water.
"Your place is cute, London." Kian says and stands next to me.
"Thanks, Ki." I say looking up at him, smiling. I place the cup on a window sill in the living room and grab my phone off of the counter.
"Ready?" Kian asks, smiling at me. He holds out his hand and I take it, smiling. "I see you're wearing my flannel." He says once we get outside.
I smile at him, "That's cute, you think its still yours." I say laughing, getting into his car. He chuckles, and starts the car.
"Lets go have a night you wont forget." He says, smiling and backing out of the lot.
Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
