《The Silent Queen》Spa Day

A few more days passed, and the week was almost at an end. Link groggily flopped onto his bed with exhaustion, still dressed in military attire. Today was his afternoon off, and never before has he needed a rest. Commanding the military was tiring enough, but on top of his regular duties, he had to plan the wedding with Zelda, and inspect the decoration and food.

"All of this hassle for a wedding..." He muttered, his face planted in the bed.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in..."

Zelda peered into his room, then giggled.

"Come on, change out of your clothes, and let's go. Wear something comfortable." She commanded.

"No, go away, I'm tired..."

"Oh, come on, Link!"

"Where are we even going?"

"It's a surprise..."

Link turned his head to the side so that he could look at her, then scowled. She was dressed in a loose white blouse and leggings, suggesting that wherever they were going or doing was a very casual.

"Please, Link, hurry up." She pleaded, "Trust me, you'll really like this... I think."

He groaned as he slid out of the bed reluctantly, then stood up to face her.

"What do you mean by, 'wear something casual'?"

"It doesn't matter." She said hastily, "Throw anything on, you'll be taking it all off again anyway."

His eyes widened as he began pulling off his tunic.

"N-no, not like that..." Zelda clarified.

She hurried over to his dresser, and quickly retrieved a random tunic and a pair of trousers, before tossing it to Link, who was standing in the middle of the room in just his pants, look slightly bewildered.

"No, Zelda, these clothes are ugly." He whined.

"It doesn't matter, just hurry up and put them on!"

The second Link put on his boots, the Queen grabbed hold of his hand, and tugged him out of the room.

"Jolly today, aren't we?" He remarked as they dashed through the castle.

Zelda came to a stop in front of a door, then threw it open enthusiastically, allowing Link to enter the room.

"Ladies first." She smirked.

He rolled his eyes as he entered the room. Even after four years of living in the castle, quite a few of the rooms were still rather unfamiliar to him, and this was one of them. When he walked into the room, he laid his eyes on a man and a woman, both looking as though they'd be waiting.

"No, Zelda, I swear I was joking about couple therapy!" He gasped, "This isn't needed! We're doing perfectly-"

"This is exactly what you need." Zelda smiled, "You're always so tense and on-edge. I've organised a spa day for the two of us, just like I said I would."

"A spa day?"

"Yes, darling." The man responded, stepping forward, "I am Zarram, and this is Phitria."

The woman waved at them.

"The Queen suggested that the two of you should have a relaxing day to conclude this week." She explained.

Link glanced at Zelda, and saw that she had a goofy grin on her face.

"Well, the two of you should go take your clothes off and lay down on those." Zarram said with a wink as he pointed to two bed-like tables, "Don't forget to use that towel, we don't want to be seeing any cheeks."

"Everything?!" Link demanded, blushing slightly.

"Well, darling, you're not going to get a very relaxing experience if I try and give you a massage whilst you have that tunic of yours on." Zarram replied, "And might I add that your tunic has an absolutely marvellous design!"

The General's cheeks reddened in colour.

"Well, we'll leave you to it." Zarram continued, "Try not to get too distracted."

As Zarram and Phitria left for a side room, Link turned to Zelda.

"This is stupid." He declared.

"No it's not." She replied, already taking her blouse off, "Its going to be fine. Relaxing, even."

"Yeah, well I'm keeping my underwear on, though." He grumbled.

Once they were both laying down on the table-beds one their fronts, their rear-ends covered with a towel, Phitria and Zarram re-entered the room, and came over to them. The table-beds were positioned so that the Queen and General were facing each other.

"My, my, I didn't expect someone like you to have such defined muscles." Zarram giggled as he took his place at Link's side.

Phitria and Zarram both poured a bit of oil of their hands, then began massaging their clients' backs. Zelda sighed as she closed her eyes, her head rested on her hands, which were out in front of her. Link shuddered, and his arms were glues to his sides, so that he was laying down like a plank. His fiancé opened one eye, then gazed at him.

"Try to relax." She sighed.

He imitated her arm positioning, and soon rested his head on his arms. They both stared at each other; Zelda smiling as Link looked uncomfortable.

As time went by, the General's expression began to soften, and eventually, he found himself feeling very relaxed.

"Well, I think's its now time to move onto the manicure." Phitria announced, her voice really adding to the mood of relaxation, "Zarram and I will go back to the side room and allow you to put on these bathrobes. Once you are done, you can come and join us in the side room."

She and her partner left again.

"So, how was that?" Zelda asked.

"Can't you give me a massage more often?"

"Oh, now you like it..."

"It would've been better if you did it, if I'm honest."

"Of course you would say that."

They put on their bathrobes, then went through into the side room. Here Zarram and Phitria were waiting again, but this time there were two chairs for reclining on.

"Please, have a seat." Phitria offered, gesturing to the chairs.

The young couple took their places on the chair, and reclined. Zarram and Phitria now had a bowl in their hands, and in it was a green paste-like substance.

"We'll start with the facial." Zarram stated, "We'll get those baby cheeks glowing in no time."

They both smothered the paste onto their clients' faces. Again, Link was very disturbed, and recoiled at the touch of the green paste. He eventually stopped tensing, and allowed Zarram to rub the paste all over his face. Once the paste had been applied, Zarram held up two slices of Refreshing Cucumber, and placed them over Link's eyes.

"Oh... This feels so nice." The General heard Zelda sigh happily.

He had an urge to wipe the past from his face. It was very uncomfortable, but he resisted the urge. This was not his idea of relaxing, but if Zelda enjoyed it, he guessed that he might as well enjoy it as well.

Link could feel his nails being filed, and he really wanted to see what was going on. Being blinded by a refreshing cucumber was very daunting.

He eventually succumb to the peace, and found himself drifting off...

After a while, he was woken up by someone gently tapping on his shoulder.

"Link, you should really wake up now."

He took off the cucumbers from his eyes, and saw Zelda supressing a laugh. She was now wearing her clothes again, and her face seemed to radiate even more beauty than ever before.

"You look ridiculous." She giggled.

"Rise and shine baby cakes!" Zarram declared, holding up a wet cloth, "Let's just get that stuff off of your face."

He used the cloth to wipe the past from Link's face, then used another wet cloth to wipe away any residue, before using a dry cloth to dry off his face.

"There, how do you feel?" He asked.

"I feel a hundred and four years younger." Link chuckled, "Thanks!"

He hopped onto his feet and did the biggest stretch ever.

"Well, that concludes your spa session for today." Phitria smiled, "We hope that you enjoyed it!"

"It was wonderful!" Zelda exclaimed, "Thank you so much! We'll be sure to call on you guys again."

"We also cater for baby showers." Zarram pointed out.

"I-I'll be sure to keep that in mind." The Queen responded.

"Why would you need a baby shower?" Link mumbled, still in his bathrobe.

"Your clothes are in the other room, sir." Phitria said, "You can change into them and leave your bathrobe there before leaving."

"Thank you, once again." Zelda said graciously.

"Any day, and you have our best wishes for a happy married life together." Zarram grinned.

As Link and Zelda headed out of the side room, Link heard the low mumbled of Zarram.

"You know, she's awfully lucky to have him." The General heard him say, "What I wouldn't do for a man like him."

Link blushed even more.

"Come on, Link, get changed and then we can go out and do something fun." Zelda urged, "Maybe go into the town or something."

Maybe he was the lucky one. He considered himself extremely lucky to have Zelda in his life, let alone to be able to marry her. And in just over a weeks time, they would be united...

"Yeah, ok." He grinned, "But we're stopping at the bar, ok?"
