《The Silent Queen》Spoon or Fork?

"Mmmm... This is heavenly..."
Zelda closed her eyes and allowed herself to enjoy the moment of bliss as she chewed on a piece of fruitcake.
"You've really outdone yourself this time, Link." She smiled as wiped her mouth with a napkin.
Link chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. He had gotten the ingredients for Monari, who was quite the confectioner herself, and she was more than happy to lend the necessary ingredients to him.
"There are hardly any young people who enjoy baking these days, young man" She had said to him.
"Well, I guess I have the ingredients to thank." Link laughed after a while as he watched Zelda enjoy the delicacy.
"And the apron!" Zelda added through a mouth full of food.
Link blushed as he stood in a white flowered apron with pink frills and "I love baking" written on the front. Monari has insisted that he borrowed the apron too.
"And the master spoon." Link laughed as he held up a wooden spoon caked in batter.
"The master spoon!" Zelda wheezed, choking on her cake.
"Easy there, girl." Link warned as he thumped her back.
"I'm... Fine!" She gasped after a while, before resuming with her cake, "Want a bit?"
Link smiled as he ripped off the apron and joined her at the table. Zelda stabbed a piece onto her fork and fed it to him.
"What, no!" He exclaimed, "You use a fork?!"
"Yes?"
"You use a spoon, like a normal person!" Link said in a sudden fever, "Not a fork!"
"But if you use a fork, you can pick up the cake easier." Zelda retorted, "Better than the piece of cake just falling off the spoon every time."

"Yes, but no. It's weird. You're weird. Who uses a fork?!"
"Practical, intelligent people..."
"No!" Link grumbled and crossed his arms and slid down on his chair, "I'm not eating if you use a fork!"
Zelda shrugged and carried on with the cake, trying her best to ignore Link's menacing gaze. After a while, she sighed, got up and went over to a draw to find a spoon.
"Fine..." She said as she sat down and scooped a bit of cake before holding it out for Link.
He eagerly sucked up the contents of the spoon and munched away happily. Zelda came to the conclusion that this was one of his many childish moments. Once he was done, Link smacked his lips and opened his mouth, staring at Zelda expectantly. She rolled her eyes and loaded the spoon with more cake.
"Here comes the Divine Beast." She said, waving the spoon in the air.
Link clamped his teeth on the spoon, and when Zelda tried to yank it out, he refused to let go.
"Come on! Stop being so silly!" She scolded.
She tried to pull again, and this time, Link released the spoon from his bite and Zelda ended up on the floor.
"Dearest me, Zelda, do sit down properly." Link sighed.
"Dearest me, Link, do stop being an idiot." She snapped as she got up and brushed herself down, wincing slightly.
"Did you get hurt?" He asked, this time with a more serious tone.
"N-no..."
"You know, you wrinkle your nose every time you tell a lie." He pointed out.
"I do not!" She exclaimed, wrinkling her nose.
"Alright, where's the sight of problem?" Link demanded.
"I didn't get hurt." She insisted.
Link's eyes searched her face. Then slowly moved down her body, before resting on her left arm.

"Want me to get some ice for that arm?" He asked airily.
"Oh, thank yo- Hang on! How did you-"
"Zelda, I think you're forgetting that we've been together for four years, and have known each other for over a hundred."
"Those one hundred years don't count." She said hotly, "Five. Maybe six."
"Still enough time to know you well." He shrugged.
"Still enough time to know you well." She repeated in a mocking voice, "Whatever..."
Link blushed. Looks like she was in one of her huffs again...
"More cake?" He offered, "Maybe some pastries. Monari could give me a few recipes."
"How about a bottle of that strong stuff?" Zelda asked.
"If you say so..."
She groaned as she heaved herself onto her feet and hobbled over to the couch. He fished around in the cupboards for the bottles Hudson had said were in here, and finally laid his hands on one. Link then searched for two glasses and brought them over to Zelda. He put them on the table and poured out the drink into the glasses before handing one to her.
"Anything else, my Queen?" He asked.
She downed the drink and held out the glass for a refill.
"Nah, forget it." Zelda said as he proceeded to pour the drink, "Just give me the bottle."
Link was rather shocked as she took it out of his hands and took and big swig of the drink.
"Much better." She sighed.
Link laughed and took a seat next to her, and took a sip of his own drink. He then put an arm around Zelda and pulled her in closer.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked.
"I suppose..." She pondered, "But you know what could make me feel even better?"
Link smirked and kissed her lips.
"Uh... I meant a nice back massage... But ok." She chuckled.
"Oh..." Link went bright red.
"I'm kidding!" Zelda laughed, "Of course your kisses always make me feel better."
She threw herself onto him and pressed her lips against his. Link smiled as he reclined on the couch, placing his hand on her waist as she scrambled on top of him.
"Ohhh, you know what?" He burst eagerly, "I just had the greatest!"
"What?"
"We could go star gazing tonight!"
"What a 'bright' idea." Zelda smiled.
"Hey, that's my job." Link mumbled.
"Oh yeah, don't wanna steal the job of the pun super'star'."
"Stop there."
"I'm 'punstoppable'!" She giggled.
"Oh, that's it!" Link exclaimed, "You've 'pun' out of warnings."
They both laughed together, and at each other. Mostly at each other. They both took pleasure in making fun of their significant other. Just because they loved each other did not mean that didn't enjoy poking fun at one another.
"Yes, star gazing should be fun." Zelda said after she had calm down from their laughter.
Maybe it would be the perfect time. The perfect situation and the perfect setting. Link hoped that everything went well.
