《Three's a Charm》Chapter 38

I opened my mouth to say, 'You're ordering me to dance, General?'

What came out instead was, "Uhh..." I had no idea what happened to my brain cells.

I also had no idea at what point had my hand ended up in Sebastian's. But there it was now, swallowed by his big, strong hand leading me towards the dance floor.

"Where... Where is Eric?" I stuttered while my legs were betraying me as well, dutifully walking after Sebastian.

If I could take one look at Eric, I would be able to regain control over my traitorous body, I was sure of it.

Only that my fated mate was nowhere to be found. It was just Dean and Rory at the table now.

"He went to take a piss before I could off him."

I returned my gaze to Sebastian. He was wearing that special grin of his on his face. Coupled with his form-fitting jeans and shirt, he was danger incarnate.

I had to get out of here before I became a very willing victim to his allure. Which first required that I stopped following him.

I willed my legs to cease moving and – a miracle! – they obeyed.

Sebastian let go of my hand immediately.

Strange. I'd kind of expected him to try to drag me further. Was he giving up on–

His hands got a hold of my hips and gently but surely pulled me flush against the hard plains of his body.

"Uhh..."

"Better get your ass moving, darlin', or we'll be shoved off the dance floor."

The dance floor! Hell, when had we made it all the way to the dance floor?

"Don't you want to dance?" he asked when I just stood there like a statue in his arms.

How was I supposed to function, for crying out loud, when I felt he was as hard as steel in those illegally tight jeans?

"I thought you'd like to sway your hips to some reggaeton. After all the seat-dancing in my 'butt ugly' car..."

A giggle bubbled up in me but I stifled it. "I suck at dancing."

"I doubt it, with your sense of rhythm. Even if so, you can always follow my lead. You know I practice martial arts."

"There is difference between fighting and danc–"

He spun me around like a professional dancer. Then he caught me before I lost my balance on my mid-high stilettos, and returned me to the secure circle of his arms.

My mouth went dry. That had been darn hot.

"If you don't want to dance," he murmured into my hair, making me shiver in delight, "we'll have to continue with our unfinished business."

"Uhh?"

"The proper kiss you were supposed to give me after Eric's rescue. With tongue."

Oh, no, no, no. Nope. This was where I was putting a stop to this dance-not-dance. I was going to pull away and return to Eric, not to leave his sight until the night was over.

My body stayed pressed against Sebastian's. And my mouth said a measly, "We shouldn't."

One of his hands moved to the small of my back while the other cupped my face. Then his lips were on mine for a crushing kiss.

The whole club disappeared as his skilled tongue delved between my parted lips. I melted against him. I dug my fingers in his pecs, wanting more of his intoxicating taste. He cupped my cheeks with both hands, angling me where he needed me for a deeper kiss.

Hands spanned my waist, adding further heat to the moment–

Wait, whose hands?!

I stepped away from Sebastian with a squeak, only to bump into a solid male body behind me.

I turned around abruptly, elbowing Sebastian in the gut in the process, to see a familiar smile coupled with a cute dimple.

"Hey, sweetie. I came to rescue you from the kiss you were clearly not enjoying."

Sebastian grunted behind me.

"Hey, pal. Mind if I borrow Samantha for a song or two or three?

"I asked you for just one song," Sebastian grumbled, body pressing against mine. "Tell me there is a good reason that doesn't involve the state of your small head?"

Dean stepped closer to me from the front, turning me into the filling of what Isabel had fittingly called a mendwich. "There's nothing small about my lower head, Bas. But that's not why I'm here. Two guys are sharking around Janine and her friends. My size alone didn't make them reconsider but yours might. Sasquatch." Dean winked.

"Fine. But don't expect your size to make an impression on Samantha either. Until later, darlin'."

"Uh-huh." It was official: my brain cells had melted.

As for my body, it was on fire. And I had thought I had been horny before? Ha-ha.

When Sebastian tenderly kissed the top of my head on his way to Janine, I felt all fuzzy on the inside as well.

Someone had to get me an Out of Order sign.

Remaining with Dean only didn't improve my state. Especially when he wrapped his arms around my waist for a dance and I discovered he was in the same hard situation as Sebastian had been.

Actually, my state got worse. Because my tigress had been rolling in delight in my mind at the double trouble I had been in, and now she wasn't satisfied with just one of her mates being pressed against her. Greedy cat.

"Eric..." I said weakly while my hips were swaying along with Dean's of their own accord. "I should go to... him."

"Why? He is having a blast with the guys from the pride."

I couldn't see that for myself, since Dean had swayed our way further into the crowd of dancing humans. But I believed him; I had noticed the warm welcome for Eric earlier.

"You know, Eric has agreed to fix the cars of pride members for a good price."

"Oh?"

"Bas' SUV included. That gear stick needs some inflating."

"What's wrong with his stick?" From what I had felt minutes ago, it was big enough as it was.

Dean chuckled. "Did I say stick? I meant gear selector. He gripped it so hard thinking about you that he dented it.

"Oh..."

"Your absence got to me, too." Dean moved to whisper in my ear, "The things I wanted to do to you when I saw you for the first time today... I was ready to kill for a single taste of your honey."

I swallowed with difficulty, my fingers digging in his shoulders. If he kept talking like that...

"Admit it, sweetie. You long for a taste of us, too."

I bit my lower lip to stop myself from shouting, 'Hell yes!' to the entire club.

Dean gave me a little spin until my back was pressed against his chest. His right arm encircled my waist to keep our lower bodies in constant contact, while his left run up my arm in a sensual caress.

"Say this doesn't feel right."

I whimpered. I was going to combust any second. Sebastian had stoked the fire and now Dean was turning it into a raging inferno.

"Say you don't feel anything for me and Bas," he whispered in my ear. "I dare you to lie to me and yourself."

Somehow I managed to find my voice. "How I feel... It's irrelevant. This is wrong... I'm Eric's."

"Damn right you're his. And he is yours. Just like me and Bas are." He took my hand and moved it up until I was touching the side of his face behind me. "We're all yours, sweetie. You can have us all."

A wistful sigh left my lips. Dean was describing a world where my dreams had become a reality.

But hadn't life taught me fairy tales existed only in books? Maybe Eric wouldn't be hurt by me getting two more mating marks, as he himself claimed. Perhaps I would overcome my feeling of guilt for thus tainting our mating bond in a way. But what would happen if the sharing didn't work out in the end? What if Sebastian, possessive and territorial as he was, realized he couldn't stand Eric in his home and in his mate?

Everything would fall apart then. My whole world would.

"All you have to do, Samantha, is come home with us tonight." Dean delivered a kiss to my neck, the fabric of my dress not preventing the skin underneath from burning at the hot touch of those lips.

Instinctively, my hand cupping Dean's cheek guided him back down for a repeat.

He kissed the side of my neck for longer this time, and ground his erection against my butt.

"Come home, sweetie. Be ours."

"I... I..."

"All of us want it. Look."

He turned us on the dance floor until I saw them in between the gyrating bodies. Eric and Sebastian sitting side by side at the table. Eyes, the bright colors of their inner animals, trained on Dean and I. Eric looked a bit flushed but wasn't averting his gaze from us. Sebastian looked tense, as if he could barely restrain himself from joining us.

Oh boy.

Holy hell.

What was I to do?

I didn't get a chance to make up my mind. Because in that exact moment, some human decided to show me she had a death wish.

By making a move on Sebastian.
