"Just to let you know, Big Brandon has fired the club manager for his actions yesterday and relocated him out of the city to another branch. Brandon also sent over the new vehicle with it's ownership papers this morning and the deed to the club that guy used to manage." Wallace pulled out a document wallet with papers and details of the car and club along with a set of keys for the car and club. I took them but waited until Wallace was finished talking before reading through it all.

"The club is newly renovated and was being managed by his guys. I've taken the liberty to employ a club manager and accountant for you and Sunny. The club is clean, no under aged drinking, drugs have been clean up, and the gambling license is being put on hold – that was my decision until you turn 21 and can legally gamble. Everything else has been taken care of. The legal documents are all in your folder." He pointed to the paper work now in my hands. I nodded in agreement for all he'd sorted out for us and was a little surprised that me managed to get it all done in less than a day, but then again, this is Wallace Overmeyer we are talking about.

I passed the folder and keys to Patricia and she took out the duplicate copies and handed those to Sunny. The ownership and share of the profits clearly stated mine and Sunny's names as equal division of everything. Sunny was looking a little shell shocked at this point.

"I think it would be wise to keep this under wraps that you both now own the place. Just let your new manager and his team do all the work. Its a good bar in a great location. If you decide after you turn 21 that you'd like to manage it yourselves, then by all means, go ahead." Wallace continued to speak.

"Big Brandon also handed me a bank card with the pin asking me to pass it on to my, and I quote – "Princess'. He didn't stipulate the amount of the card but it should be clean as he wouldn't be stupid enough to pass on money from his underhanded dealings to me or mine.' I took the card from Wallace and also send it onto Patricia. She'd have it placed in an account of mine somewhere.

"Lily and Sunny – that will be the end of that. Him and his guys will not approach either of you. We will not make any further trouble for him. Slate is cleared. Understood?" Wallace spoke firmly and both Sunny and I nodded quickly at him, like chickens pecking rice.

"Good." He smiled. He then turned to Patricia and Grant and spoke briefly to them about the aftermath of the online smear campaign against me and Eyva on the weekend. They spoke back and forward a bit clarifying things and which law firm was dealing with things for us on Wallace's behalf.

I sat there thinking about the whole thing with that gang leader and his club manager. I remembered Wallace's order yesterday to not get involved with anyone in the underground and to leave everything like that to him – his words rang soundly in my memories. It was a very good idea and sound advice. Wallace Overmeyer was a great business leader, and it would be totally normal for him to have dealings with people from all walks of life. It made sense to leave all of that dark side of city and dealings to him. Perfectly fine with me. I'd have no idea what I'd be getting myself into anyway.

But this whole incident came at such a strange timing. I have had no dealings with anyone in the under ground scene, not this life or the last. Granted, that gang club manager could have approached Sunny just because she was beautiful, but what powerful man didn't already have tons of willing beautiful ladies around them. She shouldn't be anything special to a power hungry moron like that man. This only seemed to happened after Sunny was in my show at the Overmeyer estate. I might just be jumping at conspiracy theories but it all seemed to match up time-wise.

Then the stuff online this last Sunday morning. I sat there, thinking and wondering if this and the online stuff had any connection at all, but I couldn't think of anything. There was also the van theft with my design clothing in it right before the show. No one has been able to tell me who paid the thieves to do it. Was someone coming after me to get to Wallace? Was it related to the old guy that kidnapped my mother? Could it be a hidden enemy coming after me alone? I didn't know.

Or was it karma that was coming back around to kick me in the pants for stealing other's personnel, ideas and investments? That had me stunned for a moment, as I'd never really thought about those existential ideas before. Well, not really. I mean, was I sent back to re-live all of this life again just to make it up to my family this time around or was it just so I could make myself rich and live my life how I'd always wanted? Which deity or higher power did this to me? Was there an expectation to give back once I'd made my life right?

Thinking about karma, I decided those relief funds and emergency food supplies and shelters might just have to be moved to the top of my to-do-list. I need to pay it back to the cosmos so I don't keep accumulating bad brownie points and not the good ones.

We wrapped things up with Wallace and Grant sent Sunny home while I ate with my family at the estate. After dinner and reading time with JacJac and my mother in his bedroom, I tucked him in, said goodnight to the parental units and left. Just as I was stepping out of the manor, Patricia pulled up to the entrance of the house with the brand new deep blue Lexus and rolled down the window.

"Ma'am." Was all she said. I was grinning from ear to ear and couldn't help laughing in glee. So pretty! I quickly dumped my stuff in the back, jumped into the passenger's seat and Patricia drove me home. She took the long way. I was so engrossed in checking out all of the bells and whistles, the feel of the cream leather interior and pressing all the buttons, discovering the seat heating... ahhh. I didn't realised we'd arrived home until Patricia called to get my attention.

"Get out of the car, Lily. You have school tomorrow." I groaned at her and reluctantly got out of my brand new Lexus and followed her to the lift while looking back to where she'd parked my new car in the building car park. So pretty.

"You're drooling." Patricia teased me all the way up on the lift, tucked me into my apartment before closing me in. And no, she wouldn't let me keep the keys.

Before bed that night, I read through all of the ownership papers and deeds for the car and night club. They really did belong to me, well half belong. I wondered if Sunny might quit her new job as my assistant and go be club manager or something. She could probably learn on the job with the manager Wallace had hooked us up with. He'd be really good at his job and I wasn't sure if she wouldn't take the chance. Follow me around being my assistant and lackey, or go be her own boss? I'd have to have a look at her end clauses on her employment contract with me and renegotiate a new one with her. I didn't want her to feel 'stuck' in her new job with me if she really wanted to go be a club boss.

Looking at the club photos and printed material, the place really had a touch of class for something so mundane as a city night club. If it wasn't for the large circular dance floor in the centre of the venue, I would have thought it was a bar. Viewing a copy of the whole floor plan, it looked really comprehensive for a club.

From the entrance way that housed the security monitoring room behind curved walls to the raised seating areas for tables and chairs and the billiards room tucked behind the third smallest bar, the whole venue was incredibly well thought out and designed. Rest rooms for women were behind the bar, private party rooms on a mezzanine floor above the main circular bar and a DJ stage that doubles as a raised tables arena when not in use, the place looked really creative.

Then there was the interior design, a beautiful meshing of watery organic shapes lit up in blues and aqua colours with a post industrial design with vintage globe glass hanging pendant lamps, densely packed, hanging below the industrial ceiling. The contrast between the electric neon blue lighting and flooring and the cosy warmth of the pendant lamps really drew the eye. I bet these photos couldn't do it justice.

I checked out photos of the dance floor, private booths, bathrooms and even the stage and back stage artists lounge. The place was impeccable and I really loved it. What was really amazing was this was mine. Well, half of it was. I was tempted to buy Sunny out so that I'd own the place right from the start. I'll have to schedule a chat with her about it. Right after my new coffee house opening...

So much to do.
