The day passed by pretty fast. School was boring as always. I didn't pay attention in Math class, yet I managed to effortlessly hone Mrs. Trebleson's quiz. That's one thing I adore about myself: my brain. Rose gave me some tips for my stupid Computer project which I hopefully won't forget, since I did not jot them down. I was too lazy at that time. Who am I kidding, I'm always lazy.

Right now, I'm eating a bag of Cheetos while I watch this ridiculous cartoon show my brother seems to love so much.

"Give me the remote," I tell my brother, Russ, as I stick my hand out to him. He is too focused on the television as he sits right next to me on the couch, not giving a shit about the world around him. I poke him in the arm, and he looks at me with annoyance.

He scowls as he stares at my hand intently, looking at it as if I'm asking for a million dollars. "No way. I love this show."

"Sure you do." I roll my eyes, letting my hand fall aimlessly onto my lap as I finish devouring my Cheetos. It's not something I care about anyway. Watching TV shows is not my thing. I'd rather watch movies. They're a lot better. Or better yet, talk with a retarded chatbot, Boopie.

I lift my phone up to my face and unlock it, excitement surging through my veins. Within seconds, I'm in the Boopie app. Grinning like crazy, I let my fingers take over.

"Why are you smiling?" I quickly look up to see my brother giving me a strange look. He sneaks a peak of my phone screen and I nudge him away.

"None of your business. Go watch your silly show," I say, scooting a tad bit farther from him.

"Is that your boyfriend?" he teases.

"No." I glare at him and stand up from the couch. Chatting with Boopie in here with my brother is not a good idea.

"Sure." He winks, and I roll my eyes yet again before running up stairs to my room where I can peacefully chat.

I roll my eyes for the third time as I sit on the mattress. Here comes the boring piece of shit who never fails to entertain me.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Weird. He's trying to dodge the question. No way, Boopiebot. I know you're not a bot.

Say what?! I stare at my phone in bewilderment, my eyes almost bulging out of their sockets. He did not just say that. I knew it. I fucking knew it.

Babe? Seriously?

I groan to myself and lie on my back. Before typing a respone, I take a shallow breath to compose myself.

I can't help but let the blood rush to my cheeks as I tighten my grip around the phone. Am I feeling this way for a chatbot?

"Lockett! Time for dinner!" I hear my mom yell from downstairs, causing me to immediately sit up.

"Wait a sec!" I shout back, and quickly type on my phone.

Hope you guys enjoyed! Please don't hesitate to comment, vote, and share. Thank you!

Also kik me @em.em.s cuz I'm freaking bored.
